First disappointment about Zanzibar. Journey to Africa 2018
Having enjoyed the negative charms in the capital of Tanzania, Dar es Salaam, I went to the island country of Zanzibar . A huge number of laudatory odes to Zanzibar inspired me. I was eager for this beautiful island of Zanzibar. I even took three swimming trunks, a camera for underwater shooting, in order to have a comfortable time.
I took the cheapest ticket for the high-speed ferry, $35, since the sail is only about two hours. When leaving Dara, it began to rain and wind. The sun came out about an hour later. Soon the contours of the island of Zanzibar appeared. My heart was beating hard with the imminent meeting of the famous island-country. All passengers poured onto the upper open decks of the ferry. The closer we got to the island's dock, the slower my heart beat. Something began to remind me of a gray and nondescript Dar es Salaam. When leaving the ferry, we began to wool the local customs.
I was even warned by a customs officer that before leaving I would be taken away all the food, they say, leave it to me. I answered her that then I would eat them right in front of the customs officers. My bags began to turn inside out, and at the same time, they muttered something to me. I fiercely defended my brought products, and defended. At the exit, there are a lot of carts, cars, mountains of things, and molesters. I struggled through the crowd of eager eggplants to help me for my money. The hotel was specially taken near the port, not far from the city center. They just didn't let me through, ripping out my bags, telling me that the hotel is very far away. As a result, I sent them all very far away, and in five minutes I came to my hotel. I chose the hotel on Booking. ru. After checking into the hotel, I eagerly went for a walk. Alas, there was the first disappointment.
