hotel. This is my first time encountering this. The transfer picks us up at 20.00. Hotel until 12 noon. Specifically, in their hotel it is written that if you want to extend it until the evening, you must notify it two days in advance. Of course for money. They said 10 euros for one hour extension. Of course, an extension at their hotel is expensive. (I went to let you know. I have two children, 5 and 6 years old. I am alone with them. I don’t want to sit in the lobby until 20.00. The answer was categorical - come on the day of departure after breakfast and we will tell you whether you can extend it or not. So, I don’t need it after breakfast. I’ll have to pack my things already. Our hotel may be completely occupied and other people will already need your room. But we’re not people??? ? We’re actually your clients and we’re here. That’s all How?
For whom are the rules and reputation? Been to a lot of places. Never had a problem renewing a room. Only in this hotel. I don't recommend it to anyone. They talked rudely. I'm shocked.
They don’t want to solve the problem and don’t want to go to a meeting either. And then he turned around and left. This is a bitch of course. I was left standing as if I had been spat upon.
Cons: food is potatoes, pasta, chicken, vegetables made in China (tasteless), synthetic sausage cuts, tea and coffee in a huge queue, and two more incredible ones for grilled dishes and ice cream, 30-40 minutes each. (ice cream only from 16-19). There are no seafood. Fish almost every day, but this "something" without a name and very, very dry, bland, filled with flour sauce. Water slides 4 in the small pool from 10:00 to 16:30 and 2 in the large one until 17:00, for children 12 and 10 years old this is 3 days of entertainment.
1. Tour operator, flight and transfer. We went through the TUI, were satisfied. Two days before the flight, the departure time was postponed several times, the delay was several hours (but these are more questions for the air carrier). The host guide was not very good - he was silent all the way, he didn't even try to tell anything. I liked the hotel guide. The meeting was quick, he did not impose excursions, gave the necessary information about the hotel, answered questions. There were only positive impressions from meeting with him.
2. Checked into the hotel immediately upon arrival (we arrived after 14), put on bracelets. Said about the bus to the beach and beach towels. They gave information about the hotel in Russian, showed me to the room and delivered the luggage.
3. Number. 5 stars does not pull well in any way. A bunch of interior errors that need repair. Cleanliness is top notch too. I decided not to spoil my mood because of these little things, after all, we went to bathe the children in the sea, and not for the sake of chic-brilliance of the rooms. We lived on the second floor of the main building, the view from the room is unattractive: on the roof of the basement and the hostel for staff. But this, as it turned out later, had its advantages: firstly, in the evenings, the animation of the neighboring hotel is visible, the rest of the time the noise of our hotel does not interfere. Secondly, the room was located above the reception, and therefore the Internet was even in the room, although in most of the hotel, remote from the reception, it was very weak. The room had 2 double beds and 2 single beds for children. There was a liter of mineral water, fanta and cola in the fridge upon check-in - this is for the entire stay. For the sake of truth, they did not manage to drink them, because there were always enough drinks in bars and restaurants. Also bottles of drinking water were replenished daily. In general, water on the territory of the hotel is freely available everywhere, take it, drink as much as you like. There was also a kettle and tea bags in the room. And for some reason, only two cups for 4 people. They asked for two more. Twice they turned to the reception and once to the maids and still received these coveted cups on the second day of their stay. Tea bags and sugar were also replenished, but there was an acute shortage of green tea in the hotel. The air conditioner worked well, but blew on the bed of one of the children, so we slept at night with the balcony door turned off and open. There is electricity in the sockets only if the key card is inserted into a special slot.
3. Cleaning. The floor was washed every day. Not sure about changing sheets and towels. Covered - yes, towels folded - yes. And they changed or corrected the old one - it's not entirely clear here. On the first day I threw a towel with dark spots on the floor, I wanted no spots. After cleaning, I found it neatly folded on a shelf with the same spots, for the sake of truth, instead of 4 towels, we formed as many as 5 with it. I didn’t throw more towels on the floor except for a towel for my feet. Once it got very dirty, they really replaced it with a clean one.
4. The staff is not particularly friendly, with rare exceptions, but not rude. What they asked, they did everything, albeit without much enthusiasm. None of the skin climbed. Example. I did not find a bag of green tea around the hotel, I asked the bartender a question. The result - he turned his head in different directions, allegedly in search and shrugged his shoulders, they say, no, no. And he said something in Turkish, but go and understand him. No one rushed to look for tea for me, and to replenish their own depleted supplies, too.
5. Territory. The territory is occupied only by the hotel and bars, swimming pools. There is no place to walk at all. There is a playground near the annex buildings, but there is often sun. There are two pools. Water with chlorine. We used it twice: the first one on the day of arrival, because we really wanted to swim, and there was little time left before dinner. And the second time when the children wanted to go to the slides. There are two slides, they work only part of the day. For the sake of interest once you can ride. The red one is less fast, but I hurt my elbows on it. She went down with a small child, and when she held him, she did not press her hands close enough to her. The end result is torn skin. But if you go down yourself and keep your hands to yourself, it's quite normal. Because of the chlorine, we didn’t go there anymore, they preferred the sea.
6. Beach. The sand is brown, there are a lot of cigarette butts near the sunbeds, if they clean it, it is not very active. The hotel has its own area under awnings for sun loungers, mattresses. Everything is free. We always had enough sunbeds, we went to the beach after breakfast. On the first day we tried to take a sunbed in the afternoon, leaving a towel. The beach worker took the towel, like it was his, and did not want to give it back. Managed to return the towel only after disputes. On the second day, it became clear that after dinner it makes no sense to take sunbeds, since there are enough free ones. Each hotel has its own sunbed area (beaches of other hotels are nearby), but the swimming coastline is shared with others. Walk to the beach for about 10-15 minutes slowly with a child. Every 20 minutes a bus runs from 9 am to 5:40 pm and back accordingly. By bus, if you leave immediately - 1 minute maximum.
7. The sea is clean, if calm. The entrance is sandy, shallow water is quite extensive. When there were waves, near the shore the water was muddy from sand and algae, but further into the sea it is again clear. The water is very warm.
8. About food. The food is a solid five. Chefs are great. Lunch was similar to dinner, only with fewer dishes and less variety. The food is delicious, although there are many spicy dishes, sometimes the children could not eat what they chose, they had to look for something else. Every time there was meat and / or poultry, and fish, a couple of times there was liver, greens, raw and cooked vegetables, various side dishes, sauces, snacks, pickles, soup-puree. Sometimes there were cutlets, very attractive in appearance, and there was always a queue behind them, but in reality it was a semi-finished product or processed remains of yesterday's meat. For dinner, they always cooked something on the grill, mostly spicy. You could also order pasta to your taste, but there was always a queue for them. the menu is standard. French fries - eat at every meal. Of the fruits, there were always watermelon and melon, supplemented with some other fruit on different days: plums, apples, peaches, grapes. There are quite a lot of desserts, beautiful and appetizing. Several cakes. When we tried it after a couple of days, we realized that a lot of this is the same type and the variety is not so great. Although sometimes there were new things. The first day they served several types of baklava, then it was gone. For breakfast, there are always cereals of several types, waffles, cookies, halva, Turkish delight; eggs and omelettes in different variations. Milk. Pancakes. All kinds of toppings, liquid honey and honeycombs. You can make hot sandwiches with cheese and sausage or just toast. Buns, pretzels. Sausages, sausages, cheeses. I personally did not like the sausage, but the local cat ate it, at least one of the types. Milk porridge. Cheeses, mainly like cheese and suluguni.
From drinks Turkish tea and tea bags. Coffee from the machine is just disgusting, instant slop. But at breakfast there was always a tub of filtered coffee nearby, quite decent. You can also get hot milk here. In the bar, cola, fanta, sprite 7ap, sparkling water, packaged juices. Wine red, white, rose, beer. What kind of strong alcoholic was - no idea, they didn’t drink. White and red wine is so-so, but you can drink with good food. I didn't like the rosé at all. Maybe it's a matter of taste. In a cafe on the beach, cakes with filling are baked, followed by a terrible queue. They also made meat from turkey or chicken like for shawarma, cut it into pieces. Very tasty meat, by the way. We dined on the beach only once, for the sake of interest. An assortment of dishes was brought there for dinner from the main restaurant.
9. Contingent. I read about this hotel that German. I was waiting for a crowd of Germans, but I saw only a few of them and they were clearly drowning in the general mass of Turks and Russian-speaking people. Turks and Russian speakers are somewhere 50/50. By the way, the staff does not understand English at all. It is easier to explain in Russian than in English.
10. Entertainment and services. There is a paid doctor, did not apply. There was animation and some performances on all days except Sunday. We didn't go to them. The hotel has a free gym and sauna. Did not use. We wanted to buy a doctor fish fish massage, but there were no fish for our entire stay. Used this service on the street. Right next to the hotel there is a pharmacy and a hairdresser, at the hairdresser they took this massage, by the way, cheaper than the price list at the hotel. Were very satisfied - unusual, pleasant, ticklish and legs after him like fluff. On the beach, with those who wished, they played some kind of game with balls, and during the day they carried out aqua aerobics in the pool. Near our beach there are a lot of boats for banana or parasailing, of course for a fee. The hotel has a lot of shops with all sorts of things, there is a photo studio. Once a photographer came to the beach dressed as a pirate with a large lizard and a macaw.
11. Disadvantages: lack of any park for outdoor walks; sometimes non-compliance with sanitary standards by staff; the language barrier; insufficiently equipped beach (one changing cabin, and even that did not seem to be closed), the toilet and shower are far from their own sun lounger area on the territory of either the nearest restaurant, or the beach of another hotel; free smoking everywhere outside, even if there are children nearby, but this is more of a human factor and a matter of culture.
In general, the expectations were justified and the rest left a pleasant impression.
In general, as for my wife and I, the price of the tour and the quality of the services provided corresponded to one another.
The hotel looks very beautiful in pictures, but in reality it is not. The rooms are cleaned well, but often they don’t put clean towels, then they take away the bedspread. The atmosphere in the room is comfortable, new furniture - everything is wonderful. But all that concerns the metal coatings, they are all rusty: in the bathroom all the handles, and in the room everything has peeled off on the sconces - AND IS THIS A NEW HOTEL ?? ? what will happen in a couple of years? And the worst thing is the periodic unpleasant smell from the sewer...
The restaurant is not bad, but there is very little variety, a lot of salty and spicy dishes that no one eats, the choice of meat dishes is minimal, the fruits were never ripe, desserts take up the whole table, but it's all the same different colors and shapes. As for the seats, there were always enough of them, but on September 1, a lot of vacationers arrived and we had to wait until a table was free...
Sun loungers - as always, they are all busy, either on the beach or by the pool. We observed the case, it almost came to a fight. There is a restaurant on the beach where they serve lunch, not bad but meager. The beach turned out to be 150 meters not wide, but long, taking into account the restaurant and cuisine. And the width is no more than 50 meters, somewhere around 12 sun loungers.
The staff, although they do not speak Russian, are always friendly.
There is practically no greenery on the territory, a couple of palm trees grow, but you won’t even notice them. Before that I had a rest in Kemer, where the garden was more than a hotel.
As for vacationers, mostly couples with children. More Germans, British and Poles. The Germans behave ugly on vacation, this is not the first time I have encountered them, and each time I am more and more surprised at their impudence.
And I would not like to say a lot about the tour operator in Turkey. We were met by Anex Tour. This did not delight us, we took four excursions, for three of them the bus was late for more than half an hour, despite the fact that the departure for the Pamukkale excursion was at 4 o'clock in the morning. One guide told us that it was okay that they were late. Tour guides are different. We went to Side, the Girl told everything in great detail and interestingly. And Pamukala - he did not speak Russian well, and said that if someone is late for the bus, he will not wait, but if something can be caught up in a taxi. And the thing that tired everyone was dragging everyone to different shops, they even managed to drag us to the candy store before the flight at five o'clock in the morning.
In principle, the vacation went well, if you do not pay attention to all the above listed details.
everything must be looked at and smelled, especially the portioned red fish. Although the food was varied. The glasses are dirty. Popcorn is not recommended for children. I saw how it is prepared, with dirty hands after the toilet. UNSANITATION COMPLETE. SIDE resort itself is very expensive. There is no disco on the territory of the hotel, but you have to pay for everything. PROBABLY I AM NOT LUCKY!! !
1. We arrived at the hotel around 19-00 local (ie Turkish) time. At the reception, they filled out papers (provided that neither I nor my girlfriend know Russian or any other language), while the Turkish managers very politely explained to us what to write where. The hotel is focused on the Germans and the British, there were very few Russians, but we even liked it, because. then we went to rest not in Russia, but in Turkey. The whole procedure for registration took min. 20. Then we were taken to the room. Showed where what is, how and what is included. Yes, the staff does not speak Russian. BUT!!!!!!!!!!! ! They have the talent to explain, roughly speaking on the fingers, and at the same time everything is clear. (I am writing this for those who do not know the language at all).
2. Dinner. Because We arrived at 7:00 pm and were immediately taken in for dinner. Buffet! Fed to kill! The kitchen is completely different! Everyone can find food to their liking! You can have breakfast (lunch, dinner) both indoors and on the terrace, as you like. Regarding food: there was meat every day, mostly chicken. But who will serve you pork in Turkey? Turkey is a Muslim country. The only thing was that there was practically no choice of fish, i. e. 1-2 dishes for dinner of fish and disgusting sausage………!!! ! But personally, it didn’t bother me, I didn’t come there to eat sausage with meat.
3. Number. About cleaning. Our room was cleaned every day, not a speck of dust, not a speck. The floor was washed daily. I have seen it with my own eyes over and over again. We tip the cleaning lady a dollar each, and as a token of gratitude, the bed was always made very beautifully and even decorated with flowers a couple of times (all this for one dollar). Bed linen was changed every 3 days, towels every 5 days. We had a double room, one double bed and one single bed. Each had 2 towels: 1 medium and 1 large + 1 foot towel. The room had a hairdryer, a minibar, which included 2 bottles (1.5 liters) of water (you didn’t have to pay for it), a safe. Regarding the minibar: we were immediately warned in the travel agency - if you fill the minibar, then this is at your own expense! The room had a plasma TV with many channels in various languages, incl. and 3 channels in Russian. So in the mornings we also had time to watch the news about what was happening in Russia at that time. Separately, I will say about the safe: it is paid for, but you definitely need to take it, because. there you will store all the documents, tickets, money, phones..... in general, whatever you want to put. The cost is $2 per day. But there was also a minus: we had a wardrobe, in which only one door went, but the second one stood rooted to the spot, you couldn’t budge. He came to us like a repairman, thought, but did not. There was no particular tragedy, but it was unpleasant.
4. Hotel. Our balcony had a view of the wasteland. The sea was visible in the distance. This did not bother us at all, because We only went out to the balcony to hang our linens and towels to dry. The only time we needed an iron, we turned to the manager at the reception, to which we were told that things can be left with them and the next day we can pick them up already ironed. Honestly, I didn’t give it away, because. already left the next day. And it was necessary to stroke the sundress, because. my friend and I were going to A LA CART (the restaurant at the hotel is included in the price of the tour package, we already learned about this in the hotel itself from the guide). IN A LA CARTE we ordered fish (trout) - perfectly and very tasty fish cooked. But right up to the fish, they brought us a salad, appetizers, squid in batter, soup, various sauces, and only after all this was the fish served. After the fish there was another dessert, which we simply could not eat anymore - the stomach was already full from the previous dishes. The hotel has 2 swimming pools: one, however, is quite small (like for kids), the second is a normal full-fledged pool with 2 slides. BUT!!!!!!! ! Yet again! I came to relax at the sea, not swim in the pool! We swam in the pool once, the water is chlorinated, as in everything else and in any other even super VIP hotel.
5. Beach. Walk 5-7 minutes from the hotel to the beach. And imagine, there is a bus from the hotel to the beach, it takes tourists to the beach. Personally, I find it funny! Why do you need to ride this bus if there is grace on the street, the sun and go to the junction for 7 minutes?????!!!!!!!!! ! Sun loungers and mattresses on the beach, and the beach itself are free. We came at any time and there was never such a thing that we did not find a place or something we did not get there. Seats, sun loungers and mattresses were in sufficient quantity!!!!! ! Of course you had to bring your own towels. BUT, again, we took these towels in the sauna at the hotel, took them in the morning - returned them in the evening, you can not return them in the evening if you have a clean one, just don’t forget to hand them in when you check out, otherwise they will make you pay for the loss of property. There was a mini bar on the beach (but that's loudly said), in fact, an umbrella and 2 refrigerators, to which drinks are cooled (water, cola, fanta). You can at least every 5 minutes. walk and drink, no one will say anything, it is included in the price, the only thing this stall works from 10-00 to 17-00.
6. Animation. This is a really big minus. They tried to organize something for the children there……………but so-so. And for young people and the elderly (who were also) nothing is organized. The animator speaks excellent Turkish (he is naturally Turkish), a little worse in German and English, and generally not like Russian. Although one evening he bled, apparently he was in a mood, so that everyone laughed heartily and understood what he was saying (even I will not hide, not knowing any language other than Russian). LEARN LANGUAGES!!!! ! You are going to rest abroad, not in Russia, and the fact that you cannot explain yourself is only your problem.
7. Drinks. Free only drinks of their production, but they are not very good, terrible wine, alcohol with alcohol. But then again, who goes for what, I went to see the country, I was extremely interested to find out how and what in Turkey, therefore, there was no good alcohol, so what, not a tragedy.
8. Waiters. These are BAD PEOPLE, but not all, but the majority, maybe we have come across such people. In principle, they did not speak Russian, although they understood the language, and there were a couple of waitresses who, apparently, did not have enough attention, so they tried to get to know each other, and with such vile hints.
And we had a case, not a pleasant one. We returned from the tour, and dinner was already over, we were literally 10-15 minutes late. and they took away all the food in front of our noses. We began to explain the situation to the same waiters, they categorically did not want to listen, there was one answer “ah moment”, which meant fuck off, your problems. My friend and I raised such a scandal, because. we were literally a minute late. 10, the tables are full of food, but they don’t give food. It all ended with the fact that we were brought soup, bread and tea, all the cooks and waiters were raised to their ears, and the reception ordered a restaurant for us. But everything worked out, we ate soup, became kinder and didn’t swear anymore. From that day on, all the waiters treated us more respectfully. Get yours!
9. Entertainment. Everyone is their own director! I mean, if you want to know the country, you will go on any excursions. Every day I had planned where I was going, what time, what kind of excursion. There was not a single day for a respite (I rested for 10 days) and then I did not go on all the excursions that were offered. YES and more, my friend and I took these same excursions on the street and believe me, no worse than in a hotel. We took only one at the hotel. There are Russian-speaking guides everywhere, but…. . we agreed on this right away, as well as the price in other matters, and no one deceived us (I remind you that we did not know languages, and the Turks did not know Russian, they spoke on the finger) !!!! ! For some excursions that we took on the street, we paid half, and the other half stalemate. I will pick you up from the hotel, they will feed you on the way, they will bring you to the hotel, full service. So, you need to take a tour not in a hotel (which is 2-2.5 times more expensive), but on the street, you will save a lot on this!!!!! ! And yet - no one will entertain you, if you want a holiday - arrange it yourself!
10. I was very pleased with the rest and the hotel. A bunch of memories, impressions. So I can say that this is a good hotel, but not 5 *, but I think they will achieve this in the near future! It's worth relaxing in!
