We have already been in Turkey 10 times. Previously, my child and I stayed only in large good 5-star hotels. This time we were in early October together with my wife and bought an urgent tour in the midst of a pandemic right before the holidays. Accordingly, for this money in the center of Side on the second line from the beach for 15 days, according to reviews and ratings, the Sayanora hotel was chosen. When they were taken from the airport to the hotels, everyone was dropped off in luxurious five-stars. We were embarrassed that we would drive up, and there was a 3-star sign. Luckily we were dropped off in the dark. So our complex vanished into darkness. And after we were met at the reception and immediately taken to a restaurant, fed, and only after we settled we realized that this hotel has a special attitude towards vacationers.
We felt care, sensitive attention and kind smiles every day from morning to evening. We were met by a boy, Bayram, who speaks good Russian. Student to study at the university as a cook for 4 years. I was very surprised why he studied at the institute to be a cook for so long? Then I understood from Sayanory's restaurant. The chef is a special, unique phenomenon of the hotel. He cooks so deliciously, variously from seemingly simple products that I think that's the only reason people who have been here at least once return to this hotel again and again. We had many such regular visitors.
The restaurant has such a variety that I didn’t try everything in 2 weeks. For dinner, we try different types of meat. In appearance and taste, it is fatty juicy pork, fragrant liver, harsh but tasty beef. Only later, after reading the inscriptions near the dishes, we understand that all this is made from chicken and turkey. How so? And here comes the understanding why it takes 4 years to become a chef. A variety of dishes were served every day. In addition to meat, there were different fish and seafood. Large selection of cheeses, olives and vegetables. And the abundance of sweets just confuses losing weight people. The food system in the conditions of a pandemic in Sayanore, when you put gloves on yourself is much more convenient than in those hotels, when the staff puts you on a plate. There are always empty seats and no queues. Every evening for dinner, the chef surprised us with some masterpiece. And it was always a little show with fire, fireworks, smoke: kebabs, kebabs, shawarma, burgers, baked leg, tuna.

The waiters are the second attraction of the hotel. They are so attentive, polite, anticipate your desire literally by sight and do everything promptly, as if you are the most honored guest or best friend here. I understand that the waiters in the hotel, they are also animators after dinner, so turn on the guests and involve everyone in dancing, that in this disco near Barsky and again gray night EVERYONE DANCING! Including the Germans. The waiter Aziz was especially impressed. How he managed to serve everyone and talk to everyone, bring together and seat lonely bored people at one table, and then also easily raise everyone under Tender May and organize a disco. It even seemed to me that he reads the minds of people and fulfills their desires. Just a magician and some kind of magician!
We did not take excursions, since before that we had already been everywhere. Thought it would be boring. But the atmosphere in Sayanora's hotel simply did not even give a reason. TV only turned on once in 2 weeks. I think there are Russian channels. Wifi in the room works great. Just before dinner, when everyone is surfing the Internet, it’s not very appealing. The rooms are cleaned every day, linen is constantly changed. Every day they make something interesting out of towels.
In the morning, jogging along the embankment, mostly Russians. It pleases that we have a sports country. True, I never found anywhere in Side even an ordinary horizontal bar. We swam in the sea for hours, as the temperature in the sea on October 1 felt +26. Air during the day +28. In the morning it was cool at least +18. The hotel has 2 swimming pools. The water is cooler than in the sea, about +24. The sea, if there are no big waves, is transparent. And the beach behind old Side is even cleaner. We enjoyed it more and there were fewer people.
In the evening, there is always a lot of fun near the restaurant, but at 23-00 the hotel is quiet! An elderly couple, who comes to the hotel not for the first time, was moved to the neighboring Park Hotel without any problems. It's always quiet there.
Every Wednesday at the hotel from 19 to 23 Turkish night. We really enjoyed! Dinner with a variety of dishes, chef's show with torches and fireworks, performance by guest artists and dancing at the end.
We did not plan to buy anything in Turkey, but in the end we bought a lot of clothes and shoes of good quality at ridiculous prices. Usually after lunch we went shopping and malls, of which there are a lot within walking distance near Sayanory. In Novomole it is somehow expensive, In Waikiki the prices are the same as ours. In Sala Pazari 82 the quality is not very good. But in the Outlet, through which they went to the beach, prices and quality turned out to be optimal.

I noticed that the Germans in the hotel were more than half of all visitors and it seemed that they had a special attitude.
I express my gratitude to the hotel management for the excellent organization of the rest of visitors. The highest gratitude to the chef and his team for the daily unforgettable masterpieces of the kitchen. Respect to Bayram for prompt assistance on many issues. In order to visit more interesting places around the world, we usually try not to revisit hotels, cities in which we have ever been. Sayanora, Side will now become an exception for us.
