I would take Alanya for May. Just a little, but the water will be warmer. If you go to the city itself, there will be a place to walk, a good transport interchange to get somewhere. I liked Monart city 4 * in Alanya itself. We were in Marmaris, though in June and September in Poseidon 4 * hotels (very good 4), and in Elegance (chic 5 *), I don’t know how the water from the Aegean Sea will be in May, it’s fresh in season, but this is the best sea of all the five seas that I have seen!)
