we were last year in september in alanya itself, on cleopatra beach, we really liked it, and there are good shops nearby, at that time there are discounts, we shopped great! and this year we were in side, the beach was terrible, I will never go there again, definitely in alanya! We are going there in October. There on the street is ataturk waikiki, de facto, LTB, mave, etc. all the shops are nearby within walking distance, if you take a hotel on the first coastline in alanya (in the city itself) cleopatra beach.
