Tell me which region of Turkey to choose for a vacation at the end of September? Where is the weather more comfortable at this time?

In the city of Kemer, the village of Kirishe, the joy world palace5 * hotel is super and the sea is warm.
аватар Elenka08
It is warmest in Alanya, because it is the most south, or at least Side.

On the Anatolian coast, the weather at the end of September is good everywhere. There is an opinion on this site that Alanya is the warmest option. I do not agree with this, I read Kemer.

I agree, Alanya is the warmest. I had a rest at the end of October. The weather and the sea are great.

I probably agree with Pachok - the end of September is almost everywhere and warm and comfortable. I was at that time in Belek, and in Alanya, and went on excursions along the entire coast - until October 5-10, I practically didn’t see rain anywhere. And then - not rain, but so, entertainment. Rains only in the tales of Lioness hotel managers (see review)

Last year, we rested at the end of September in the Kemer region - the village of Tekirova. It rained intermittently for several days. It was frankly not hot in 50% of the entire stay (12 days). Clouds hung near the mountains all the time. Therefore, I also believe that it is warmer in Side-Alanya at this time.

Three years in a row I have a rest from September 19 to 29 in Kemer, the weather is just super, air is 38, water is 26-28.

The warmest region at this time is Alanya

People - do not carry nonsense! Alanya has always been warmer than Kemer (especially in autumn)! It is not only cooler in Kemer, but it is also a mountainous region - and if clouds appear, then they hang near the mountains for a long time.
Don't deceive others. It is because of people like you that some "inexperienced" tourists get disappointed, and in the end they get not what they expected. In the beginning, there was really a lot of truth on this site - because. Everything was based on the reviews of tourists. And now, due to the fact that almost all travel agencies here pour advertising or anti-advertising, pursuing exclusively selfish interests, and telling a lie, it is very difficult for an ordinary tourist to separate lies from truth. Remember - you, as an employee of a travel agency, deceive the same seller, then he will deceive you, etc. We ourselves are digging a hole in deceit!!!

I am a tourist, not an agency, I go to Turkey since 1998 EVERY year and several times. At the very least, I am surprised by the general opinion about the warmer climate of Alanya. Yes, it's cheaper, but that doesn't mean it's better. Unattractive steppe, wind, muddy sea. I will never advise my friends to go to Alanya, neither in summer nor in autumn. And you, Natalie, go if you want. Have a nice rest

And finally, we come to another point - preferences !!!
In this case, the person asked the question "Where is it warmer at the end of September?" and not "Where would you advise to rest." So let's get to the point then. Yes - I don't like Alanya either, and I don't rest there. I have a rest in Side, Belek, Kemer. Each of these areas is good in its own way. But Kemer is cooler than Side anyway. It is a fact! And in autumn it is noticeable. It's just that you are unlikely to have been in different parts of the coast on the same day.
I draw conclusions not based on my own preferences - everyone should have their own subjective opinion. And facts are facts. Twice, my friends and I ended up in different parts of the coast (I'm in Side - friends in Kemer (September), I'm in Tekirova (Kemer region) - friends in Belek (late September-early October)), and both of these times we called up to find out what the temperature was they have, and compared with ours. So - in Side and Belek both times the temperature was higher!
And when it rained for two days in a row in Tekirova, it was dry and hot in Belek. I will not argue that this is always the case. But there are some statistics.
аватар Pachok
I was in one day in Goynuk and in Belek. Just last year it was, around October 6th (+/- day). We have a nasty wind in Belek and the sea is cool, in Goynuk it is quiet and smooth, the sea is loopy. In 2006, on the contrary, I was vacationing in Goynuk when there was a storm. A friend called from Side - she says that the storm is terrible, you can’t swim, the wind, the rain, we only have rain, it didn’t interfere with swimming. Yes, and people from all over the coast board the return flight, I often heard that it rained in Alanya, while in Tekirova or Kiris we had all the sunny days. This is about October. And in September it’s still good everywhere, which was written at the beginning of the branch.

Since when is the truth called nonsense, why should I lie now that it was cold in Kemer at the end of September, so that you would believe me, or what? I don’t do statistics, and I think you do too, but I’m talking about what the temperature was in a given period of time. The weather is always different and it is wrong to say 100% where it is warmer, so I am writing what I know for sure.
аватар HotLine
And I have my five cents.
Alanya south of Kemer is about 200 km (in latitude).
That's why it's warmer there. Not essential, but warmer than a few degrees of water and air.
This is clearly seen when we drive through the entire Antalya coast in info tours in a week.
But in September, this difference is not yet fundamental.
аватар EiS_tour
I agree with Hotline. Alanya is geographically south of Kemer. And the weather from the end of September can be both good and bad during this period here and there. It's like luck.
And to find out where the temperature is in a particular period, it’s better to look at meteorological sites - you can also find statistical data for previous years there. Why have a discussion and prove that it is warmer there than here ... if everyone is there for only a few days, and at different periods. In addition, the temperature that for some is "hot" or "fresh" for others may simply be "warm" or "cold".
In any case, the difference in temperature and weather will not be critical on one coast. Choose the city and hotel where you want more. Take some warm clothes with you (just in case) - and you won't go wrong!
Have a nice rest!!!

Alanya is geographically slightly south of the city of Kemer. The village of Tekirova is already getting south of Alanya. Just look at the map. The fact that it is three times longer to drive to Alanya does not mean at all that we are going to the south, rather to the east.
Admin, why did they delete my previous post?

Pachok. You have already been warned. The Q&A area does not contain links to Internet resources similar to ours. There are also maps on our websites - otpusk.com, turpravda.com, mandria.ua

People-tourists and travel agents! Look at the globe of Turkey - there are mountains above Kemer and the sun falls behind them much earlier in time (especially in autumn, when the daylight hours are clearly shorter). We compared Side and Kemer in Sept-Oct-2007,2008. Beached in "Emirkhan" almost until dinner. Geography is still a science

We have been resting in the second half of September in Turkey for 10 years, we always preferred Antalya itself, or Kemer. Until we went to Belek, the amazing warm sea, I have never felt such a comfortable sea either in Kemer or in Antalya. And definitely Alanya in the middle of summer is hotter than Kemer. Therefore, we choose a resort according to the season. Although I never thought that there is a cold sea in Kemer in September. It is good, but Belek is definitely warmer
