My husband and I rested in Marmaris in September 2014, and in October (until the 10th) in Fethiye. The weather was normal and the sea was warm. There were a lot of preschool children and it was impossible to pull them out of the water. Of course, I would not go to Bodrum in October. The Aegean Sea is still noticeably cooler than the Mediterranean even in summer. And I love warm water. I would simply not go into the sea with a temperature of +23.
