What to choose in October - Turkey or Tunisia
I'm going to go on vacation in October, I would like to visit Turkey or Tunisia. But the weather is embarrassing - it starts to rain in Tunisia, and the temperature is already dropping in Turkey. What to choose to make it warmer)))

it also starts raining in turkey, not every day, but still... and the sea (Mediterranean) in October is not so warm... but on sunny days, which are the majority, the heat and tan stick like in summer :)

in my opinion, it will be colder in Turkey. It's the weather in Sochi! I'm planning Thailand in October. Right there at the right time!

I think that in October you can go to Turkey calmly: it’s not so hot anymore, the sea is still warm, the temperature is comfortable during the day. The sun really shines still enough for a good tan.
I would advise the southern regions - they are warmer - Alania, Side ... Kemer is very humid and it can be cooler and rain

I don’t know who told you about the rainy season in Tunisia, in late October and early November, a friend went, had a wonderful rest, the sea was excellent and sunbathed well. but in Turkey it will be already cool and the rains will just start, you will hardly go into the sea, if you only go on excursions

I agree with lvenok. I was in Alanya in October for two weeks. Of course, if you like varied weather (three in one), then you can go to Turkey. Strong winds, the sea with such waves that many simply did not want to think about being on the beach. In the evening - warm clothes. The jacket is essential. I regretted not bringing my running shoes. BUT! there are also pluses. There are almost no Russians. Germans, Dutch. True, the Turks still have an eye trained on Russian women. I have no idea how they distinguish us from others. Yes. I will not go to a restaurant in shorts, as a German woman. And I don't like backpacks.

I haven't been to Turkey, but I've heard a lot. Is it really the Turks who behave incorrectly towards Russian women?

I continue about +++ in October in Turkey:
during the day it even happened to be a bit hot, the tan is good, there are much fewer people, you don’t need to borrow sunbeds in advance.
BUT! Treshki-hotels and discos, many are closed. And don't forget RAMAZAN. Restaurants and smoke-teas also some did not work. There are certain restrictions on the choice of rest in connection with RAMAZAN.

Nonsense is all about "incorrect behavior." This is another topic. Of course, Russian women taught them themselves to SUCH behavior. But if you meet a Turk who doesn't hang around a hotel or a disco, consider yourself lucky. We were friends for about four years. And I don't regret it.
Turks of a higher level of development and wallet (if you are interested in this) will get to know you ONLY through someone !!!! He himself cannot approach you - it is not accepted.

most likely you are right. but here in Egypt I have been more than once, and there is no need to give a reason for that, they stick to disgust. very unpleasant. In this regard, I really like the UAE. There is nothing like it. The most that a man will allow himself is to look into your eyes. (Yes, how to look!)

Every year on October 3rd we take our parents to Turkey for two weeks. Almost always in Kemer. The weather has never let me down. The maximum that was - half a day of rain and waves of the number 9-10.
I won’t say anything about Alanya, because I don’t go there in principle, but in Belek last year at the same time the sea was muddy and colder than usually happened in Kemer.
As for Ramadan, this year it is from August 21st to September 20th. By the way, they were in Turkey and during it - they didn’t notice any differences in service, except that at the end there were three days of holidays, during which the hotel was just a festival! :))

I advise you to return from Turkey before July 15, otherwise you risk getting into rains and thunderstorms. We were in ALANYA FROM OCTOBER 21 TO 28, 2008 - IT WAS SUPER, but we were lucky.
Resorts have been empty since July 15..., hotels are closing..., animation is leaving..., there are fewer excursions, yachts do not go out to sea... DO YOU NEED IT?

I would choose Tunisia during this period. But Turkey is more interesting in terms of excursions and shopping. As for the attitude of the Turks towards Russian women, I did not notice anything vulgar towards myself. True, I attribute it to my appearance, because. the Turks mistook me for a Turkish woman when they realized that I didn’t know Turkish (I answered in English), they made assumptions that I was either Brazilian or Italian. As a rule, they managed to deceive :) In general, the Turks are polite and if you do not give them a reason, then they will not allow themselves anything.

Hmm, how many people - so many opinions. Something LANGIS hung up...:))) Well, a typo, and so it's clear, but in principle... it turned out funny! I have already answered about the weather in Tunisia and Turkey. But about the attitude towards Russians... well, choose for yourself, OR you dress like Russians: in chiffons, resort "haute couture" or vulgar shorts and panties and go to a restaurant, as they wrote, OR in primitive clothes from nature. fabrics, sneakers, take backpacks and credit cards, put on small glasses - you get like Europeans. Then the attitude towards you is different, and prices, and services. Personally, I have no problems either in Tunisia or in Turkey, the situation is like that of Elena25, but this year there was a full house, when the list of Heb. countries among the first included Portugal and Belgium ... And the fact that in both countries hotel prostitutes (men) and bazaar traders behave brazenly is the problem of the country. For example, in Tunisia, Higher. arr-e has only 15% of the population, and of course - these are not the indicated characters. At best, Gen.
manager or manager of the hotel, the rest - in the capital, work in the state. apparatus, universities and major campaigns. So you understand, ignoramuses and mediocrity have what manners ??? They would only have to crawl into your pocket, nakroynyak - into shorts. Draw your own conclusions.

During this period it is better to go to Tunisia. It will be much warmer there than in Turkey. Last year we were in Turkey in early October - it was quite cool in the evenings, it often rained. Clouds hung almost constantly. It is also the end of the season in Turkey - many hotels are closed from October 15 (repairs, reconstructions, etc.) - the service drops significantly.
And in Tunisia, the climate is closer to the Egyptian one - the season will be just in full swing.

As always, there are so many opinions of vacationers, I decided for a long time that I was going to Turkey either in May or October, for 3 years I had a rest in October on the Mediterranean Sea: at the beginning, in the middle, and at the end , and a couple of times on the Aegean coast, I don’t advise you to go to the Aegean in October, but if you go to Alanya, then the weather is very wonderful, last year, I was in the 2nd half of October: the weather is great, in the evening no jackets and sneakers, below 20 degrees in the evening did not happen, and the sea is wonderful - they didn’t get out at all)) everything was fine! have a good rest)

People, we are traveling with children and the weather and the SEA are important to us! There are three children, so the economy, i.e. only these two countries. And only October (in connection with the school and the training program) Much warmer and more comfortable (won, cleanliness, sand) by sea. And preferably the area. I ask those who were both there and there.
