I think it’s worth choosing a hotel where the food is delicious, there is a spa center, maybe some kind of entertainment (I don’t mean animation), and so that there is a place to go out, in the city, a hotel to be. And then you will be provided with a wonderful vacation! And the sea .. walking to the sea and contemplating it).

We have been celebrating New Year's holidays in Turkey for 5 years. On the beach near Side. We always choose a 5 * hotel (I recommend Crystal Sunrise Queen), with all-inclusive meals, with a heated pool, a hammam. If the weather is rainy, then we sit in the lobby, play board games (we went with a big family and friends), go to the sauna, swim in the pool, drink coffee in a cozy lobby, have bowling and table tennis. If the weather is good, then it can warm up to 20 degrees during the day - even on a lounger by the sea you can read a book in a T-shirt. We take fishing rods with us, my son goes fishing to the sea. We walk along the sea along the promenade. We really like it - excellent service, wonderful food (lamb, fish, desserts, strawberries, persimmons, etc.), fresh sea air, sun, relatively warm even with rain, green flower beds, palm trees. We are not bothered by the environment (mostly retired Germans). For such a price, this is an excellent alternative to rest houses in the Moscow region - there is no such service here, food even more so. You can go to the market and take a walk.

If you are with children and it is boring on the winter coast, then you can choose Antalya. There is a chic aquarium, shopping centers, an oriental bazaar, souvenirs, cafes on the pier with tart hot Turkish coffee, pastry shops with pastries and views of the sea and mountains in the bay. Again, I would recommend a 5 * hotel - in case of rainy weather, it would be nice to be inside, and I would recommend choosing a hotel with an indoor heated pool. Even for a week to get out of the slush and snow, and even so not far and quite tolerably in terms of money - a very good vacation.

Egypt22, as far as I heard, this summer the hotel did not work .. or there were few people there .. the locals said that Russians usually rest there and therefore it is not full. How things really are with him you need to find out. But in any case, who doesn’t care about the sea, you can go to Turkey all year round!

I haven't been there this summer so I don't know. and during the Russian New Year period in this hotel there are 3 families, the rest are Germans and local Turks. families from Iran have been traveling since February. it is possible that the occupancy situation on the coast is not so hot at all this season ... mb and the Germans will be many times less ... on the sites the hotel is sold for the winter ... in principle, this year, I would stop in Antalya, if you plan Turkey - it’s still more fun, there are more tourists, the city is on the shore, it’s probably become quite dreary ...

Egypt22, summer was great! What longing? Crowds of tourists! Well, the Germans, as always, are a priority in Side)).

Turkey in winter is an excursion, you can’t swim in the sea, on the street a maximum of + 15 + 18 degrees (Antalya). I would take a hotel in Antalya itself closer to the old city and walk around the sights of the city and its environs. The only difficulty will be with group excursions, since there are few tourists, the group may not be enough.

If you go in winter, then you should definitely consider the million-plus cities of Istanbul or Antalya. Walking, shopping, excursions - you will find something to do.

Choose a good hotel with a spa and good food and do everything you would do in a country holiday home. I also advise you to pay attention to Antalya, because. there is always something to do on your own. Even just walking is where. Keep in mind that during the day T can even warm up to 20 C, but the nights are cold. At this point in Antalya, on some days you can sit in a T-shirt on the beach by the sea. In the rest - in raglan :). Well, the nights are cold. Snow has already fallen in the mountains.

I agree in Antalya, it is unlikely that you will be able to swim in plenty, so wandering around the area is also a matter
