We are flying to Anatalya, although we were going to Egypt. In Egypt, we have already found a company that organizes excursions, but we don’t know anyone in Antalya. Tell me, please, contacts or a site for excursions.

so it's already raining there..... Or do you just want to relax?

At every step there are these excursions. The hotel is 50% more expensive, the street is cheaper. How many traveled the same thing .., you choose who and how much to pay. At the hotel, pay 100 at 50 street and get on one tour.
аватар kolyan_cat
Tours are not exclusive to book in advance. You will arrive at the place, and there you will order at the street agency you like, they will tell you everything, and it will be cheaper by 1.5 times or even 2 times. And do not buy at the hotel, otherwise you will end up on the same bus with those who took in a street agency, but for more money.

I want to see the prices in advance and choose something. Maybe you know a site?? and about the rains: We were forcibly changed from Egypt to Turkey ((
аватар logvinova
the most interesting is Pammukale and Cappadocia. They even 2-hdnevnye are in season. And now there are few street agencies. Just try to make an appointment online. About the fact that the tour operator is 2 times more expensive - true. One caveat - you can, as they say here, be on the same bus with those who paid 100 USD. and who is 50 USD - BUT the tour will be conducted by one person in two or three broken languages. Specify right away - a Russian-language excursion or a combined hodgepodge)))

The hotel has travel agencies and it is better to take from them, more reliable than in the city from just anyone!

Turkey is a wonderful country. It is in terms of historical sights. Don't be discouraged if you're out of season. It's even spicy. No heat, you can see everything without pushing, calmly. You definitely will not go specially in November, take this opportunity. If you like long excursions, indeed, this is Pamukkale - beautiful white terraces, with water and the ancient city of Hierapolis, and Cleopatra's pool - this is all in one excursion. There is another two-day excursion - to the center of Turkey - Cappadocia - this is the place where ancient Christians settled in bizarre caves - and the landscape is interesting and history. In Antalya itself, you can walk for days on end, moving independently, without a guide. It's all Byzantium. This is much better than hot Egypt with its pyramids. It seems to me.

Author, I was in Cappadocia in April. This is central Turkey.
On that trip, I was without the sea, but still it was one of the most wonderful trips in my life.
By the way, here is a similar topic of a person to whom Egypt was changed to Turkey.

And don't worry about excursions, they will find you themselves.
You will also run away from the guides.
+ now is not the season and the prices are much more interesting.

Good afternoon! We returned from Turkey three weeks ago, but we were in Side and were lucky with the weather). We went on an excursion to Green Canyon - we liked it very much, bought from a man on the beach, saved about $ 50 compared to Tez Tour, but the Russian-speaking guide was promised was not ... And excursions are sold really everywhere, this is not a problem - both on the beaches and in retail outlets right next to the hotel.
аватар babol
Ginza travel has a website - everything is in Russian and there is a price list and contacts.

We returned from Side two weeks ago, the weather was excellent +32 for a week, and it rained intermittently for 3 days (. At this time, we visited the sauna and the indoor pool. We took excursions from the guide and they were no longer available. There were many points of sale near the hotel During the rain in the hotel, the guide posted a sign "Excursions in the rain") Approximate prices can be found here: http://s.tez-tour.com/article/30000539/Programma_TEZ_2015_Antaliya_9226.pdf. And 5 years ago we rested for a week in Kemer - from December 1 (there were sharks in Egypt) - every day before lunch we swam in the sea and even arrived tanned). Good weather to you ;-)

Off topic, interesting Slav1- how much did Cappadocia cost? And what program-if not difficult.
аватар temenyov
And you can also fly from Antalya to Izaril for a day - Jerusalem, Bethlehem. If they weren't, of course. There is also a tour. I flew last year. Liked.

We traveled on our own.
Excursion from the hotel on the coast, depending on the tour operator in the season, cost 250-300 USD / person. for 2 days - "gallop".
For this, it was necessary to sacrifice 2 days of paid olclusive vacation on the coast. i.e. throw out another 200 bucks to the wind.
For this money, we flew separately on the Kyiv-Istanbul-Kyiv route - it cost 120 bucks / person. Just booked half a year in advance. Another flight Istanbul-Nevheshir - 25 bucks / person. + another transfer Nevheshir Cappadocia, I do not remember the price.
The whole trip was not expensive.
Accommodation in Cappadocia is about 40 bucks for 2 for 3 days in a cool hotel in a cave.
I don’t remember how much food in Cappadocia, since in central Turkey this is not a problem at all and not the price of the issue. We walked around Cappadocia on our own.
+ 3 more days lived in Istanbul.

I will add my drop of information - there are many local excursion bureaus, of course the choice is yours. I can recommend the local company "Ginza travel": it has a fleet of its own transport - the buses are quite serviceable (and not "dolmushi", but large tourist ones), the guides have always come across Russian-speaking, representative offices are almost everywhere. Unlike smaller offices, they do not sit down with other agencies. Therefore, if in July Koral excursions, say in Pammukalle, are about $ 70-90 per nose, then for a family of 3 people. we gave 95. And do not get fooled by talking about insurance - everything is mostly from the evil one !!! The choice is yours.
аватар ProctoTurist
P.S. A fly in the ointment - get ready that on any excursion, especially long ones, in addition to the road, up to 1.5 hours, you will spend on shopping at the behest of the Turkish Ministry of Tourism. This applies to all companies!

I recommend excursions to Pamukala, Mira-Kekkovo, I liked the dance ensemble Fires of Anatolia, Mount Tahtali. Google it and decide what you like. If the sea is calm, then a walk on a yacht.

Another city of Ephesus, there is the house of the Holy Virgin Mary (Virgin Mary) and the church of St. Nicholas (Wonderworker).
аватар Olgaolga153
We always take excursions only from street agents, in particular from the Ginza Travel mentioned above. Everything has always been OK. For prices (in dollars per person): one of the most popular excursions is Mira-Demre-Kekova (with a visit to the Church of St. Nicholas) 20-25; yacht trip - 15; picnic-fishing (trout fishing, rest near a mountain lake) - 25-30; Pomukkale-Hierapolis (one-day - around 30-35 dollars), but it's better to take a two-day, because. from Antalya to go far, there is practically no time left for sightseeing); jeep safari - 18-20; Olympos cable car (Tahtali) - 35-45;
You can also visit the ancient Phaselis on your own, having reached the dolmush. And in general, in Turkey you can quite easily make independent "forays", for example, take a walk around Antalya, especially in the old city (Kaleichi). Or rent a car and drive along the entire coast in any direction.

You did not indicate what date you are eating, the preliminary forecast until November 19 is not a single rain, during the day 22-25, at night 12-14. The rains this year were in the second half of October. If the hotel is with an indoor pool and a SPA area, you will be satisfied.
аватар Laricom5
From local travel agencies I recommend - Ginza Travel, Pipo Tour, HayTour. Never failed. Prices (September 2015) for the most popular excursions in the order named by TA. Mira-Demre-Kekova - 25, 25, 25 (please note if they offer Limira-Demre-Kekova there is a slightly different route and the price is $ 15-20). Pamukkale 1 day - 35, 35, 35. Yacht trip 15, 15, 15. Rafting 15, 15, 15. Cappadocia (by plane, hotel 4* HB, entrance fees) 100, - , -. Istanbul 1 day (airplane + lunch + excursions) 100, -, 105. I hope there is plenty to choose from.

I advise you to visit "Demre - Mira - Kekova" and the Oceanarium.
аватар Egypt22
Visit the Oceanarium in Antalya. The new, 135 m tunnel is one of the five largest in the world. All plates including in Russian. There is also a terrarium. Very interesting for both children and adults.
аватар valetina-krylov
I really enjoyed the tours from Ginza tour. Look, maybe there is a page on the Internet. We found them in Kemer. Amazing tour guides. They speak Russian very well and tell interesting stories about the country and the history of Turkey

What hotel will you stay in? If the region is Alanya, then I recommend booking tours in advance at a trusted agency U Osman http://vk.com/osmanalanya

I liked the excursion, on quad bikes, visiting the pomegranate garden, swimming in a clean mountain river, then a salmon farm, there is an opportunity to catch fish, even with a fishing rod, even with your hands. Then they bake or fry it deliciously with lemons, along the way they bring a bunch of all sorts of snacks, beer, hookahs, etc. All this is on a floating platform, in a lake, salmon or trout are teeming around, you can feed it with cakes .. Then the truth brought an additional bill , 20-30 ye from the nose, they say they ate snacks and drank beer .... but it was worth it, it was delicious and fun.
