People, tell me please. We want to go to the sea with my husband in October on a budget. For a week. Watching Turkey. I have been there several times, but in the summer. How is the weather there in mid-October?
Please advise the region for the trip and the hotel. Or what to pay special attention to when choosing a hotel at the end of the season.
Thanks!

I was with my wife last year on 24.10-01.11, flew to Antalya, just got on the bus, when it started to rain, we were upset right away, but after an hour the sun was already shining) there were days when it was raining at night, and in the morning it was sunny. The weather is changeable during this period , but not hot, + 25 air, + 25 water. the first couple of days it was stormy, then the sea calmed down. in the evening it can be cool, but not very much. swimming and sunbathing can be no problem. the beach did not work ... but, on the other hand, good sales on leather and fur products)))

Great weather there at this time! It rains, but not for long, the sea is warm as milk. The suffocating heat of summer is no more. There are no students or schoolchildren.

That's why it's bad that the sea is like milk, or as they say: like tea.
The sea should feel and be refreshing.
Therefore, in Turkey it is better to relax in May or June.

And we were in 2013. from 23 to 30.1013. It was great - all 7 days the water was 23-24 gr., and the air was 30 gr., the sea is wonderful, there was no rain, the animation is really rather weak already, there are fewer people and this is a plus everywhere on the beach, by the pool, with a dining room, you need to look at everything with a positive and you will be fine. I wish you a pleasant stay!

Thanks everyone for the replies!
Reassured about the weather)
It remains to choose a hotel on a budget.

For 6 years already every year I have a rest after October 17-18 (I leave for my friend, which is on October 25). In general, you can get into rain-thunderstorms, but you can not. Last year it rained for 4 days and it was cloudy, the year before last - only on October 17 there was a strong thunderstorm and a storm, then it was great! The nights are cool, the temperature drops to 12-14 degrees, during the day in the shade 24-30 degrees. The pools are already cold, the sea is comfortable, warmer than in May. In Kemer, the sun sets earlier than in Alanya because of the mountains. None of this scares me! we fly this year again on October 18 for 10 days! I can't wait anymore!!!

Asking about the weather in October in Turkey is like asking about the weather in October in Russia. You need to name the city where you are flying. In Mersin +25+27, in Antalya +20+22 on average.

In October, it is better to relax in Belek or in Side, because it is warmer there than in Kemer. I recommend Zeynep hotel in Belek, Adora, Rio Kaya or Sirena (more expensive).

Vasiliy333, the author asked BUDGET))))) Maybe these hotels in Kazakhstan are for nothing, we have one of the most expensive ones, they go off scale even in October))))

We have been to Belek many times in October, I advise you until October 18-20, then it may not be very good. And do not travel to areas close to the Aegean Sea. Belek is better!

I always rest in October for 3-4 weeks (until the 26th) in Alanya ... it's hot during the day, in the evening you need a blouse with a long sleeve or a sweatshirt ... the sea is warm ... in 2014 the weather deteriorated for the last three days, it was raining and even a hurricane for 1 day... but until mid-October it's definitely comfortable there! I wish you a pleasant stay!

Wow, thanks!
yes, I watch Alanya, Side or Belek. In Kemer, already in September, I was not comfortable at sea because of the strongest wind, and some kind of creature grabbed my frog))
I was in Alanya 3 times, apparently the fourth one is just around the corner))) There is the largest selection of hotels on a budget. And yes. I plan to fly from Nizhny Novgorod or Moscow time.

Good afternoon! The weather during this period is not very good! From October 8-10, the rainy season begins in Turkey, personally verified for 3 years in a row. It so happened at work that we were during these periods, we will definitely not go there again in October. And the Turks themselves talk about it. Moreover, the season is not just rainy, but showers. But the sea remains warm. From budget cities: Alanya, Side, Antalya. More expensive: Kemer, Belek, even more expensive: Marmaris, Fethiye.

Hello! I have been vacationing in Turkey for 8 years only in October! The weather is different. You can relax without rain for two weeks ..... how lucky. It is advisable to have time to rest before October 20. I do not recommend Kemer. Only Alanya!!! If you consider budget hotels, look at Arabella Ward wanted; Leoness I've been to these hotels. This is Avsallar. Beach sand. There are a lot of beaches in Alanya with a stone. If you don’t care which beach, I know many inexpensive hotels along the coast that I have been to.

Nataali, well, they made me laugh))))) "rainy season"))))))) Maybe this "season" lasts until October 10th. Read above, for 6 (!!!) years I have been flying on October 17-18 for 10-12 days and only to Kemer !!!!! In terms of temperature - no difference, 1-2 degrees of weather do not. In Kemer, only the sun sets earlier, but no winds, no waves) The sea is like a lake) In Belek and Alanya, waves are often at this time. There are rains, even a storm and a thunderstorm for 1-2 days) But this can hardly be called a "rainy season"))))) LIVNI) Well, give)))
аватар iNicole
PolikSVT, I support)) "rainy season" is only Goa, Thailand, for example)) but there are showers, only they are rare in Turkey and extremely fleeting during the season - BEACH season)) and, since it's hot there, moisture evaporates quickly - feel free you can go for a walk...
аватар PolikSVT
I was once in Singapore and Malaysia in June, just in the rainy season))) So this season goes like this there: in 10 days clouds came running twice, it rained not weakly, it was watering for 10 minutes !!! Then everything stopped abruptly, the sun came out and after half an hour everything was already dry))) In comparison with this, 4 days of drizzling rain in Kemer - really, THE RAIN SEASON))))))) ha)
аватар ga_kabalin
Turkey is different! Belek is normal, where to the south it will still be warm during the day, but at night I would not forget my blouse. The sea has not yet cooled down, so a beach holiday will turn out. Time is not in vain called the velvet season, what I love, the heat does not exhaust, you can relax even with children.
аватар PolikSVT
In 2013, we were at the same time with friends in Turkey from October 17th. We are 10 days in Kemer, they are 7 in Belek. So, for a week they never went into the sea, it was stormy, it was drizzling with heavy rain. In Kemer, the sea was like a lake, and not a single rain. Here is such a capricious weather madam)
аватар agent_borabora
The warmest region of the coast of Side-Alanya.
The average temperature in October is +26-28C, at night +20-22C, the sea is still +26-25C. Rains are intermittent and short.
