The weather in Alanya is a couple of degrees warmer than in Kemer. I love Alanya itself, I really love the village of Mahmutlar (this is even further from Alanya) - but this is if you are not embarrassed by the road from the airport for 3-3.5 hours! As for the choice between Alanya and Kemer, I will say this: if you like the western (steppe) Crimea (Sevastopol, Nikolaevka, Yessentuki), then you are in Alanya, if you prefer the South Coast (Alushta, Yalta, etc.), then choose Kemer .
