Personal experience. Tour to Egypt - the travel agent scared that they would not be allowed into the country with a passport that was valid for less than six months after the end of the tour. The manager for Egypt Join Up spoiled the mood by saying that passports less than six months old are not automatically accepted for registration of tours. Don't believe.
