Please help me choose a hotel!
Hello seasoned travelers! Your advice is very necessary. My family and I decided for the first time to rest abroad, in Turkey. But we can't choose a hotel. From tour agencies there is no sense, they stupidly throw off what the tour operator sends everything in a row (I applied to several agencies). We read numerous reviews on different sites and were even more confused, because. each hotel has its own shoals and it is not clear how tolerant these shoals are. What we would like from the hotel: 1. Not far from the airport to be located (approximately 1-1.5 drive). 2. Hotel near the beach (maximum 10-15 minutes walk). 3. Beach - sand, shallow, good entry (I read somewhere that there is a gutter near the beach - of course, it's disgusting when you read, but how it really is - it's not clear if it stinks a lot, is the water dirty from it?) 4. Food to be normal (meat! and variety and not spicy). 5. The rooms should be decent (naturally, you don’t want to see any insects, a small space between the shower and the toilet, a broken faucet, holes, mold, etc.), it can be small, but there should be a place where you can hang your linen and be clean . 6. The staff at the hotel should communicate normally (I read about some hotels that even Russians are insulted, kicked out, relocated to other hotels ... in general, horror!). 7. The minimum set of entertainment for children (playground, pool, some animation). AND THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS THE PRICE! Now the prices are insane! I would like up to 90 tr. with fuel surcharge. Anyone who can help, THANK YOU SO MUCH!
P.S. The resort is presumably Side (because it is usually not far from hotels to Side itself, and there is something to see there - we will "conduct" all excursions on our own, and there are shops nearby, and a market). If you tell me an option in another good place, I will also be grateful !!!!!

Good afternoon! In order for experienced travelers to give you advice here, urgently add to the question: how many adults and children are you traveling, the age of the children, the city of departure, the time of the trip (beginning of the season, end of the season, prices are cheaper). The budget is small for Turkey, probably days 7 rests can be calculated, so don't worry about small things like broken faucets and the distance to the toilet. The main thing is a good beach, entry into the sea, food, a tolerable room, not too cramped for a family, the location of the hotel, if you want to get out into the city and on excursions yourself. Unfortunately, I can’t advise anything on Side (I prefer Kemer), and it’s necessary to advise adhering to the budget, and for this, there are probably more experienced travelers here.

Thank you BIG for responding, and for your advice, I will try not to pay attention to the little things! 2 adults, 1 child aged 8, city of departure - preferably Kazan, travel time - late August-early September. For 8 nights we wanted to go.

I didn’t understand anything about the gutter from which you stink ...
And how is it "shallow, good entry"?
How is it in Egypt? Spanking a millimeter to the depth?
аватар dandelia
I read a review about one hotel - it is written that next to the beach there is a sewer pipe that goes into the sea. Shallow - this is for the child to have the opportunity to swim. Not necessarily km - enough 5-10 meters. the sunset is good - it's sand, not stones, not boulders, nothing else happens there!

In Antalya there is a Club Hotel Sera. There is a small sandy beach for kids. I'll see how much it will cost you.
аватар Alexandr-
According to CLUB HOTEL sera 5 * the issue has been resolved.
It turns out about 135 000r
аватар dandelia
but in any case - expensive.
аватар Alexandr-
Check out CLUB BELLA SUN 4* in Side. About 100 000 rub.
In those offers that are cheaper, I did not find anything good. I can not recommend anything cheaper than CLUB BELLA SUN 4 *. Otherwise, there is a high probability that you will hate Turkey halfway through the rest ...

Thanks again!

Look at hotels in Side "Maya World" 5* and "Maya Golf" 4*. The tour search engine Ruspo.ru gave me tours for them from August 25 from Kazan for 8 nights in the range of 98-100 thousand rubles, but the operator "Igls Tour", I do not know how reliable it is. Hotels with a common beach, good reviews especially about 5 *. They are located 5 and 7 km from Side and Manavgat, good shops write to Manavgat, fare is $ 3 for 2 people (gasoline is expensive in Turkey), a minibus stop is not far from the hotel.
According to CLUB BELLA SUN 4, I liked the reviews in general, but they really confuse the photo of the bathroom 1.5 by 1.5 m s
shower in the corner, in my opinion there are not even curtains in the photo. And on the beach, there is a lot of turbidity and algae near the shore (with a small wave on the sea), near the Mayan hotels, as I understand it, there are a few small pebbles on the shore and the water is clearer near the shore. In general, it's a matter of price and your personal choice.

Thank you again! And someone recently told me: "so don't bother with trifles, such as idle taps and the distance to the toilet" :))))))) This is exactly the case I had in mind :))))

If you choose Side, check out Club Sidelia 3+. A German hotel with a decent territory and excellent food, after renovation, 300 m to the sea along the hillside, there is a bass. How do you feel about pebble beaches? If close to the airport, then only Side or Kemer (pebbles). Anatlia will not work at prices, it's expensive, Alanya is cheaper and there is more choice, but 3 hours from the airport.
аватар dandelia
Thank you for your response! This hotel comes out to about 100 tr. This is the problem, that all good ones are expensive :) No, I don’t want a pebble beach, I want sand and sand is better for a child.
аватар PolikSVT
))) I'm talking about the sand) I won't spoil it, but you yourself will soon understand that it's better) sand clogs into shoes, shorts, slippers, sticks to a wet body) BRRR. For a child, a foot massage is indispensable and good, and crystal clear water is also a big plus. And the nature of Kemer is a balm!!!! In Kemer, many hotels have bulk sandy beaches, but personally I like it better when my grandchildren sit on warm pebbles, pour pebbles into buckets that do not fly into the eyes like sand, and clean hands. And you already have a big child, he needs a pebble just right! Yes, and aqua shoes solves everything.
аватар dandelia
Thank you! But I have a different opinion - I was in the sandy south and in the pebbly. Even without questions - sand. And everything he goes into is bullshit. But on the pebble, my big child begins to throw stones, he has already grown from pouring into buckets. I agree, this is a matter of education, etc. But first of all, I’m going to relax and enjoy the rest, and not engage in education :)))
аватар Igor_m
PolikSVT, you are right about everything, a small-pebble beach is better (the water is clear, without suspension), from Goynuk to Tekirova an ideal place to relax. There are better ones, but there are no hotels with stars.
аватар Olgaolga153
If Side, then look at Linda 4 * in the village of Titreyengol. A very good four.
аватар PolikSVT
Igor_m, thanks for the support, but I'm just a fan of Kemer))) Bald Side and Alanya against the gorgeous mountains of Beldibi??? Never! Moreover, there are hotels in Kemer with excellent almost sandy entry into the sea, even I can easily go in without slippers, although I have sensitive feet) But the price of these "sandy" ones corresponds. I mean Mirada Del Mar, Amaru Club Marine. Yes, there is also a 4 * Garden Resort in the center of Kemer, the former Bergamot, they take them to the beach, but what a !!!!!!! Wide, sandy, with excellent entry! And the level of service and food in the hotel is VERY good! some TO sell it now as 5*.
аватар dandelia
Olgaolga153, thanks, but Linda costs 106 tr.

"Maya World" 5 * and "Maya Golf" 4 * - ready to answer in a personal (were with children in June 2014)
Club Sidelia 3+ - my friends really liked it (they were last year in September), now in May they are going with a 2-year-old baby again)))
In Side with good beaches, look at prices and reviews on
Prime Family Club and Side Alegria Hotel & Spa (both hotels without territories - 2 pools, slides, a playground, but you won’t be able to walk around the hotel, but with excellent food and good sandy beaches with a smooth entrance) Ready about them too reply in a personal (were in October 2014)
Now in May I’m flying to VON Golden I (but I took it by early booking, I’m afraid it won’t come out on a budget now)
аватар dandelia
Thank you for your response! But all the hotels you mentioned are expensive: ((except Maya Club Golf Hotel. I’m ready to hear about it in a personal :)
аватар PolikSVT
dandelia, why don't you look at Alanya in this case? Extra 1-1.5 hours on the road is not so scary when everything is the first time! Moreover, the route goes along the sea, a free sightseeing tour! We were in Turkey for the first time in Alanya, in 2004, and the time on the road flew by! Especially since you have a big child. There are many more hotels in your price range in Alanya!!!
аватар PolikSVT
And in general, if it's the FIRST time - everyone will like it !!! You just need to really understand that you will get exactly as much as you pay (I mean service, food, etc.)! And the sea and the sun are the same for everyone! And I don’t think that your boy will like the ruins of Side more than rafting, Green Canyon, pirate yacht, aqua park, caves, etc., which is also available in abundance in Alanya.
аватар dandelia
Thanks for the offer! I've already tuned in to Side. Long on the road in the heat after the plane - I don’t know how I will feel myself (the last time it was very hard), and even more so as a child (he also has his own characteristics :)). That's just for other excursions - we are unlikely to go, but here to look at the ruins, and climb on them - let it develop at least a little in terms of history!
аватар Trisha75
And one more thing - Sidelia from Kazan, for 8 nights, 2 + 1 (8 years) Anex has for 89,000 ....
It's just your budget.
And the hotel is really good.
аватар dandelia
Trisha75, ok, thanks again! While there are no questions about the hotels you indicated, I will read the reviews, look for VKontakte. As soon as they arise, I will write to you immediately.
аватар Alexandr-
I don’t know about hotels, but Anex is a terrible MOT
аватар dandelia
Alexander Why?
аватар Alexandr-
Well, that's a personal feeling...
аватар Trisha75
And I (from St. Petersburg) have no complaints about them. If you do not contact the hotel guides and do not take excursions from him, everything else is fine. Departure-transfer-transfer-departure ... everything, like everyone else)))
