Hotel selection
Hello.
We are planning a family (father, mother, son 8 years old, daughter 2 years old) to go on vacation to Turkey in June. Can you please tell me which hotel is better to stay? Thanks in advance!

hello! you first please stars how?
And what region would you like?
аватар partsauto
I am taking my family to Turkey for the first time. Of course, comfort is needed, since we will have a 2-year-old daughter with us. I wanted the children to breathe the mountain air, the hotel should not be noisy. The hotel is at least 4 stars.
аватар Mesutik
please see Utopya Hotel 5* Alanya
Topkapi Palace 5* Antalya
Gelidonya Resort 4* Kemer

Please write the exact names in English. Can't navigate through hotels. Thank you.

Utopia World De Luxe

"Gelidonya" - former three stars in the second line, across the road and first line hotels from the sea.
There is no mountain air in Alanya, it is a steppe, the sea is not good either. Utopia is the farthest hotel from the airport.
"Topkapi" is a good hotel, but there is also a steppe around.
All three hotels of completely different categories, it is not clear on what basis they were recommended :(
From themselves, they may advise you to choose at a price that suits you among hotels of the HV-1 category in the Kemer region.

I support Pachok! If "mountain air" - definitely KEMER !!!! And you can recommend hotels endlessly if you don’t know how much you are willing to pay for a vacation, the number of nights and the region of departure (in order to somehow sort the hotels that are suitable for you). To trudge to Alanya with such a baby - WHY??? Topkapi plus the Kremlin - one big party, no comfort, no peace. Utopia ... for those whose musculoskeletal system does not suffer)) And the beach is not so hot there. And the scourge of Alanya is the waves, and that the views are beautiful - so they are everywhere in Kemer)))

The Kremlin, along with Topkapi, is a garbage dump!!!!!!!!!!!!
How can I recommend this hotel, and even people with small children who need a relaxing holiday?????
There are many hotels in Kemer at various prices.
Look for yourself. Suitable for a relaxing holiday
-GELIDONYA PARK MAGIC DREAM HOTEL 4* (from inexpensive)
-LARISSA MARE BEACH 4 * (first line!!! in the village of Beldibi. Also available for money)
-RING BEACH 5 * (this one is already more expensive, ideal for a relaxing family holiday)
-ZENA RESORT HOTEL 5 * (also good, good baby food)

Do you think it’s normal to travel from Gelidonia to the sea with a two-year-old child in the heat? :) I was in it, a good hotel for a vacation for two for a maximum of a week, at a price of three hundred dollars per person, no more. If you plan to go on excursions and walk to the center of Kemer. For a comfortable stay with children, I think only the first line and a large green club area are suitable.
Larissa in Beldivi - no comment at all :(
Look:
Ulusoy Kemer,
Champion Club,
Marty Myra,
Corintia Tekirova (Euphoria),
Club Phaselis,
Sailor Beach,
Marco Polo,
Boran Mare,
Club Zigana,
Crystal Flora Beach,
Simena Sun Club.
That's all - the economy of the five HV-1, which are sold by the bourgeois as 4 *.
If the budget is bigger, you can consider hotels of the Amara chain - Amara Club Marine, well, and Amara Dolce Vita :)
аватар Alexandr-
Pachok!
I think you mean the wrong Geledonia!
I say - GELIDONYA PARK MAGIC DREAM HOTEL 4 *
Where is there to travel to the sea? 150 meters - and a private beach. This hotel used to be called MAGIC DREAM HOTEL. For me it's a good budget option.
аватар Pachok
Even "better" :( not 150 meters there, more. And the hotel is a stone bag with poor service.
If you really try to save money, then you need to take Montana or Peker, even at sea they don’t powder people’s brains with an extra star.
аватар Alexandr-
Have you been in this "stone bag" too?
Tell me, what exactly "bad" in the service did you notice in GELIDONYA PARK MAGIC DREAM HOTEL?
аватар Alexandr-
Ok, I admit my mistake. According to the official directory of Turkey, the beach is not 150, but 180 meters))))
It does change things.)
аватар Pachok
What is the "off.reference book of Turkey"?
They were not in this bag, because for this there are sites with reviews, so as not to get into this.
аватар Alexandr-
Quite right. Sites with reviews exist for this - there is a description of the hotel on any site - look how many meters to the beach)))
http://www.tez-tour.com/hotel.html?id=9001000
Don't talk about reviews. There are craftsmen on these sites that any hotel will be "lowered".
I haven't read the reviews and haven't been there myself. I advised the person the hotel as an inexpensive option for a holiday in Kemer. I doubt bad service. Everything depends on the people. Look at the reviews on the same tour. Ratings from low to high - as always.
аватар Mascot71
Pachok, Montana is now LARISSA MARE BEACH 4:(((
partsauto consider with ACKA network (Claros 4* Alinda 5*)
аватар Pachok
Alexander, why do you recommend hotels that you have not been to? I was in neighboring hotels - Gelidonia, Feronia, Selimkhan, they all stand on the same line - above the road leading to the center of Kemer, and the distance to the beach is the same there - not 150 meters, according to my feelings about 400-450. Previously - through citrus orchards, now - under the fences of good first-line hotels. Fine. Road with traffic, no traffic lights. There is no smell of 4 * there, the usual budget "three rubles" for young people, with modest food. Now imagine a family with two children (one of whom is 2 years old) and a wish for a comfortable stay in a hotel of at least 4*. Do you still think this is an option???
аватар Pachok
Mascot71, didn't know, thanks for the info.
Z.Y. They also stuck one more star to themselves: (((And Larisa's network is very budget:(((
аватар Alexandr-
Pachok!
It's one thing to advise a person on a budget option, and then let him decide whether his children are able to walk or drive in a stroller 180 meters to the sea or not. And it's another thing to write that the hotel is bad, the service is bad, etc., if you yourself have not been there. This is at least strange.
The distance to the sea is 180 meters, please calm down. And do not write heresy about half a kilometer to the beach.
аватар Alexandr-
OK. 300 meters to the beach, but no more.
аватар Pachok
And did the person ask for a "budget option"? He asked for a normal hotel, not an actual "three-ruble note" without a territory with bad reviews.
As for how much to the beach, you can check for yourself the next time you are in Kemer. It is surprising that you do not believe the reviews, but you believe the catalogs of travel agencies :) Sometimes you can read this there ...
аватар Alexandr-
The man needed comfort and mountain air, you read what he wrote about. Why do you think he will be uncomfortable in this hotel? Because someone called it a "stone bag" in the review? Why are you so obsessed with hotel reviews and stars? Tell me any hotel that YOU personally liked and where YOU felt comfortable. Do not doubt that I will immediately find a dozen reviews about it, where someone will call this body "pigsty", "viper", "squalor" and so on ...
Therefore, it is not entirely correct to refer to reviews.
аватар PolikSVT
Alexandr, let me name where we really felt cozy and comfortable with the baby, and you will not find ANY review about him as a “pigsty”, “viper”, “squalor”, and I never get hung up on the stars: Club Boran Mare 5*, Amara Club Marine 5*, Paloma Sultan Beldibi 4*, Ulusoy Aspendos 3* (Alanya), Sidelia 3* (Side). This is for an example.
аватар Alexandr-
If you insist, then of course I will copy you bad reviews about these hotels.
аватар helmul
partsauto, I would not recommend you go on vacation to the East with such a baby, based on my own mistake.
Water, the quality of medical care in this country leaves much to be desired, the concepts of sanitation and hygiene among hotel staff, health workers are VERY relative ...
I advise you to think again and stop your choice for a holiday in European countries. There are both sea and mountains. I wish you a good choice and a pleasant stay :).
If you still decide to go to Turkey, then when choosing, keep in mind: 1. The hotel must be on the first line, with a green area, or in the city, or not far from it, otherwise you will be served mainly by deren staff and plus a lot of other inconveniences.
2. Do not choose a hotel with a lot of positive reviews in advance.
3. When choosing, rely on reviews "fresh" reviews (maximum 2 months before the trip) or on the recommendations of your relatives, friends, good friends who rested at the hotel a maximum of a year ago. Since hotels often change owners who need to save on tourists, hence the decline in the quality of service.
4. Do not go to the hotel a year after the repair - the repair will need to be "recaptured", of course, at least in some way, but the quality of service will suffer.
аватар PolikSVT
It’s not worth copying, give links or just name the sites, I’m perfectly oriented in them))) It would be very interesting to read that Amara Club Marine is a “pigsty”, and Boran Mare is a “viper”)))))) And Paloma Sultan - "squalor")))) You yourself, from which "Rublyovka" appeared here, so knowledgeable))))
аватар Alexandr-
PolikSVT!!!!
Links are just above - take a look.
I read about your favorite BORAN))))
I wonder why they gave him 5*????
If you were well oriented, you would have found these reviews long ago. )))
аватар PolikSVT
Have you heard anything about "custom" reviews? In those that you indicated, 70% is a complete fiction! Have you yourself been to these hotels to talk about something at all? That's what it is...))
аватар PolikSVT
And further. I don't "sacredly" believe in reviews, only myself and intuition, separating the "grains from the chaff". Never made a mistake yet. Which is what I wish for everyone.
аватар helmul
If the sea + mountains, then look at the hotels of the regions of Belek and Kemer, Ferhiye, my friends still praised me. There are hotels with good beaches, small pebbles and even with bulk sandy coast. Choose carefully. If the reviews write about the presence of stones at the entrance to the sea, they are likely to be there.
For a child, be sure to look for hotels with a children's menu or a diet - the cuisine in Turkey is specific, the dishes are very spicy for adults (not everyone likes it), and many small children do not eat national food there. And you won’t feed your child only pasta, bread and buns, and vegetables, fish and meat also need to be eaten by the baby.
