From my experience: 5 *, all, October - came out 30% cheaper than the cheapest package from the operator.

It is profitable to fly on your own if you are traveling more than a standard tour of 14-15 days (17-20-30 days), then with cheap tickets you can really catch very cool options. Or another option of a "team trip" - we arrive in Dalaman, live a week in Fethiye (Marmaris, Bodrum), move to Kemer (Side, Belek, Tekirova, etc.), live 16 days, fly away from Antalya. Here it is really FAVORABLE to do everything on your own, because tour operators either do not undertake this, or break prices "beyond good and evil" (c)
