Do I need to buy a visa if I'm going to Turkey to reunite with my family?
Good afternoon.
Tell me, maybe someone knows. In September I’m going to Turkey. I got married there, then returned to Ukraine, changed all the documents.
I know that from September 1 there will already be a visa-free regime, but I am no longer traveling for the purpose of tourism, but for a longer period. I do not have a return ticket.
Do I need to buy a visa or go straight to passport control?

visa-free regime is already valid from August 1st

The visa-free regime is only for tourists, as you rightly noted. You need a permanent visa. I think that it is better to contact the Turkish Embassy in Kyiv or the Consulate in Odessa. I don't know where you are from.

Almost all visa-free regimes concern only tourism and for short periods. For work, permanent residence, a visa is almost always needed. Without a visa, you can up to 30 days at a time, no more than 90 days for half a year. If you do not fit in terms or goals in "tourism", get a visa!

In general, it’s better to bring your husband here and get married in Ukraine, otherwise anything can happen ...

No, well, here it is necessary to conclude a marriage in any case, and the author most likely did just that. Usually, they are first concluded here, and only then legalized there. This is if citizenship remains ours.

TC writes, I got married there, returned and I’m flying there again without a return ticket ...

Thank you very much for your advice :)))
Yes, in fact, she got married in Turkey.
We'll find out more with the police, they should be more precise.
Once again, thank you so much everyone!

let your husband read it. Let him call or go to the police department for work with foreigners. If you have not received a residence permit in Turkey, then they will open it on the spot for at least 6 months or a year. Immediately on the spot, check for the future when this residence permit ends, whether they extend it on the spot or require a long-term visa in Ukraine. Because the rules change every year.
