As for me personally - the worst thing about half board is the lack of drinks (all kinds of alcohol and without), and not lunch. And especially on the beach. I want some water and beer, and even just tea, but netushki ..... Better take all. Not much more expensive, but very comfortable. And everything is so expensive there.

My advice: take only "All", it will fully justify itself. With such heat, you are constantly thirsty, but with HB - it's not free, again, bars for a separate fee, do you need such problems on vacation?

if the issue of drinking can still be solved at HB (0.5 of water costs 20 local kurush, which is about 18 cents), then don’t really spend lunch. between HB and All there is an intermediate option - FP, that is, full board (3 meals a day), but again without drinks! But the difference is so insignificant that I would highly recommend taking All, it is already the cheapest in Turkey! :)

from my own experience. On vacation at the hotel, I met a young lady. she said that she took half board and that she suffered greatly from this. There was nowhere to go outside the hotel. I brought her all sorts of things from dinner and took alcoholic drinks for her in the evening. all this looked frankly "in Russian" impudently. but no one commented. I myself was uncomfortable with her wearing everything, but I was very sorry for the young lady. what kind of agencies that sell hotels in a wasteland with half board! since then, I only offer Ol to my tourists if there are no cafes, bars, restaurants near the hotel (well, only if they themselves do not insist on half board)

I went to Hurghada on HB and was quite satisfied, because. we bought ourselves real undiluted beer and a delicious lunch in cafes. And I flew to Turkey on "all inclusive" and I had to eat absolutely inedible food and drink beer, 90% diluted with water.
