Should I bring my own beach towels or buy them there?
I am studying resorts and hotels by next summer. The trip is the first - so the questions are naive. I started with economical options - 3 *, moving to the best is easier than going down. In many hotels they write - there are no towels, in fact, this is the norm for us, in general - people either bring their own or drag them quietly out of the room (or combine them). What about Turkey? Should I bring it with me or is there an opportunity to buy and use it cheaply? Options - buy for 4 very cheaply, use it and leave it or buy cheap good ones that will come in handy at home and that it will not be a burden to carry them. What is possible?

if the hotel does not have beach towels, we bring our own .... in principle, you can buy it, but I won’t say that the towels are really very cheap .... yes, you have to go to the shops to look where it’s cheaper (until we figure out which store is cheaper until we go around everything) and I want to swim right away ... in the hotel shop everything is much more expensive than in local shops ...

I take one towel even if the hotel has beach towels ... when, for example, we arrive very early and check in from 14 o'clock (the children immediately want to swim) until they gave me a room and towels (at 14 o'clock)

I agree with yltra. We take ours. There are no problems with issuance, replacement, loss and other problems. They take up little space, and, in the end, it's more hygienic than lying on who knows what.

Personally, I didn’t have any problems with towels - they were clean, changed according to the rules. It is forbidden to take towels from the room! If the hotel does not provide beach towels, then in my opinion, it is better to take something that is easy to dry from natural fabric, as it will need to be washed at least every 2 days.

Dear Mirimma! Let me offer you another option - 3 stars - it sucks in Turkey. No normal food, no normal rooms, no rest - you are even thinking about towels. Unless you are lucky with the sea and the weather, which, of course, is super important .Better collect money for a 4+ absolutely wonderful hotel, for example, Amelia Beach Resort - Amelia Beach Resort Hotel & Spa - really good hotels -

The rooms have everything you need - shower, toilet, balcony, air conditioning and TV with 3 Russian channels. Sea - 5 minutes. There is a long promenade nearby. The food is good. In early June, about 350 dollars per person in a double. Great for a first time. Then we rested in large hotels such as the Hilton. We need to move from the worst to the best.
