In my opinion, Alanya is very good in August. Many say it's hot, but in fact, it's hot all over Turkey. I can recommend two good hotels - Aventura Park Hotel and Tivoli Resort Hotel. Both are 5-star, with good service, cuisine and animation. Aventura has a chic garden and a separate sandy beach.
