should or should not speak Turkish
Friends, I'm going to go 6 times, my wife grumbles, again you'll "konushmachit" i.e. try to connect Turkish words into sentences. Just faced with two kinds of attitudes towards my attempts; the first smile and encourage (correct, suggest, touch), the second look like a wolf, and offer to talk in Russian. I liked the words of one guide: "The one who does not like your desire to speak Turkish is not a Turk: either a Kurd, or from the Turkic republics of the former USSR." Share how? Of particular interest is the opinion of the men, they seem to be able to forgive our women even if they tryndeli in Martian.

There is such negativity in your question! I'm talking about women! Okay, I’ll still answer (as a sworn translator of the Turkish language): you can and even need to speak Turkish, whoever doesn’t like it is their problem. But if you really want to communicate in Turkish, then follow the pronunciation. I myself sometimes laugh from the inept "merHubA!" our tourists. Some try to be smart and say "salam alaikum" - again, it's wrong, that's how they say hello in Central Asia, but not in Turkey.

I prefer to speak Turkish, although I know it at the "hello-how are you" level. You have to mix Turkish words with English. The answer is always positive. It is clear that all this sounds funny to the Turks; And if someone doesn't like it, then I don't care.

Natalo4ka I didn’t expect from you ... merhaaba I pronounce it correctly, even iI (iI) goes well with me, OolUn is also excellent, but I asked about something else in general, VDA75, thank you, you cracked on the mixture, me too, I think everything it is correct though. Natalo4ka, my attitude towards you will not change, but you protect all women, and I only select ones (it seems that there is no war yet);)

If you want to speak, speak. Normal Turks are always well-received by any attempts in this direction. :))) The rest do not care.

Well, do not be angry with me, I do not consider you one of those described in my previous answer. They write correctly here - usually normal Turks have a positive attitude at least to attempts to speak their language, and they don’t give a damn about the rest!
Do you want to try in Turkish? :))))

I am happy :), especially with you;), but if I suddenly become rude, it means punishment for the village computer :(
