My wife and I were in Turkey 4 times and 3 times in Egypt. Of course, you will not see the beauties of the Red Sea in Turkey, but the "land" nature is much richer. I recommend going to mountainous areas: Kemer, Marmaris, etc. The difference compared to the steppe part is about the same as between Yalta and Evpatoria in the Crimea.
Kemer with adjacent villages (Bildibi, Gunyuk) is considered a "Russian" zone, there are no language problems there. In Marmaris, Bodrum, Belek, there may be problems with the language, English is in use there.
In the summer of 2010, we rested at the Crystal Flora Hotel, I recommend that I have pictures in my album. One caveat - if you go to the mountainous part - the beach will be pebbly and the bottom of the sea will be rocky, but the water is much cleaner.
