Best time to travel: 15-30 May or after 25 September. But it is better to go to Kemer from June 1 to September 15, because. there are mountains nearby and at other times in the mornings and evenings fog descends from them and it becomes cool.
Write to me in private. I will send you quite a lot of useful information about Turkey. If you want, I will share a Russian-Turkish phrasebook for 30-40 words. Knowing even a few words in Turkish will greatly facilitate your stay in the country. Local residents treat such tourists much more cordially and kindly.
By the way, this suggestion of mine applies to everyone who is reading this post right now. Who is interested in what I wrote - I do not feel sorry: today I will help you with something, and tomorrow (who knows?) You will tell me. This is what normal people should do.
There will be only one request: since the amount of space allocated for personal messages is small, please indicate your E-mail.
And then, for example, a Russian-Turkish phrasebook takes 2 pages.

If the information is all as useful as: "it is better to go to Kemer from June 1 to September 15, because there are mountains nearby and at other times in the mornings and evenings fog descends from them and it becomes cool," then I would beware of listening to such advice :)))

Well, in vain, the man is right. Until June 1, it is better to travel towards Belek and Alanya from Antalya, it is warmer there. The sea is shallower and warms up faster
аватар Pachok
The person is not right that you have to go to Kemer until September 15th. I declare this to you with all responsibility, as a tourist who has been vacationing in Turkey for many years in early October. This is the best season. And in the Anatolian Gulf, the best place for this season is Kemer and the surrounding villages. Water 25-26, air 28-32 during the day, cooler in the evening, not stuffy, not humid, like, say, in July, when Kemer is just a "Russian steam room". There are no winds and currents, as in Side and Belek, in Kemer, the weather is "quieter". And the sea, by the way, is warmer both in autumn and in spring.

We were in Side from June 5 to June 19 - very comfortable, not hot, the sea is warm. Of the excursions, I personally liked rafting. Firstly, the humorous guide got caught, and secondly, the adrenaline in the blood. Pamukkale is beautiful, but tiring, especially if you drive from Alanya. Mira-Kekova - I liked it, again thanks to the guide.

I warn you right away that these are not my opinions. Written by the same tourists as you and I.
RESORTS
The first time we rested in Belek, at the Cezars hotel. The hotel is excellent: huge territory, large pool, good food and service. Around the hotel there is a fence made of barbed wire and towers, and behind them is a pine forest. Hotels in Belek are designed for tourists who spend their holidays on site. The center of the village can be reached by a minibus without glasses, or by taxi. Belek and Side have the most impudent taxi drivers on the coast, so negotiate the price in advance. There is nothing interesting in the village.
There are also beautiful large hotels in Side, but, like in Belek, there is nowhere to go, except for the Oksid disco and the ruins of the ancient city. It is not worth making any purchases in these villages - having almost no competitors, sellers bend prices, although there are decent stores with a huge selection and excellent service.
Among our tourists, Kemer is very popular. A very beautiful cozy resort where you can find a hotel of any class, but due to the proximity of the mountains, at the beginning and at the end of the season the weather often changes, it rains. It makes sense to go there during the high season - from the beginning of June to the end of August.

As you can see, nothing bad is said about Kemer. It is written: IT MAKES SENSE to go there...
ALANYA
We really liked Alanya - a resort on the Mediterranean Sea, 135 km away. from Antalya - a small and very beautiful town with a population of 130 thousand people, where antique and modern buildings coexist, where there are excellent conditions for recreation, especially for youth (you can’t list everything), so from year to year we choose Alanya. On many sites they mistakenly write the name of this city, because Alania is North Ossetia in the Caucasus, and the city of Alanya is in Turkey.
In the tips that I bring to your attention, and which are combined into one (NOT MY) large article, the following sections: Choosing a travel agency; Country selection; Hotel selection; How to save money; Tours; Purchases; Restaurants; Communication, or how to call; Taxi; What medicines to take with you on the road; The most interesting places in Israel.
And, in fact, dear Pachok, you do not need to position your point of view as the ultimate truth. How many people - so many opinions. You like Kemer - and thank God. And we, for example, did not like the pebble beaches there. Maybe this is from childhood, but there should be sand on the beach.
аватар Pachok
So what? Is it written there that these people personally rested in Kemer at the same time as in Belek? No. They, just like you, heard it somewhere.
Tourist myths, in general, are very, very many.
And I PERSONALLY have been resting in Turkey for 14 years and during this time I have been there, probably 30 times, at least, I could compare the weather and water temperature at different resorts in different months - from May to October. So - Alanya is NOT warmer and NOT south of Kemer, in Kemer in summer it is NOT more humid than in Side or Belek. Rains in September and October come with the same frequency in Side-Belek and in Kemer, namely, with an interval of 12-14 days. At the same time, it is warmer in Kemer due to the lack of wind.
By the way, in 2006, in the tenth of October, bad weather happened on the Anatolian coast. It was raining in the village of Goynuk, it was two cloudy days, at that time a real tornado came to Belek from the sea, uprooting mature palm trees in a respected 5 * hotel.
аватар Pachok
And I'm not saying at all that "everyone is in Kemer", that would be terrible. But the fact that it is better to rest there only until September 15th is simply not true. And the fog descending from the mountains is the fruit of your imagination, nothing more.
аватар HotLine
Comparing trips of different years is incorrect. Therefore, real tourists, such as Pachok, cannot have statistics on where it is warmer in September or April. To do this, you need to visit two places on the coast in one period and in one season. And so for several years in a row.
But! Every spring, travel agency managers drive along the Antalya coast from Alanya to Kemer in 5 days. This is called infotours or advertisements. They are carried out by all major operators in Turkey.
Those. within 5 days they can compare air and water temperatures along the entire coast.
So, all managers know that in Alanya, both water and air are warmer in spring. Not much, 1-2 degrees. But warmer.
Therefore, I used to even think that Alanya was south of all Turkish resorts. It turned out not. Not south.
The reason is different. Mountains run along the sea in Kemer. There are none in Alanya. And everyone knows that the land takes the heat and cold of the atmosphere faster (there is even a concept - a continental climate).
Therefore, it is warmer in Alanya in spring (heat comes from a faster warming continent), and in autumn it is cooler than in Kemer (mountains keep cold from the continent).

And Marmaris in early May?
аватар Pachok
"To do this, you need to visit two places on the coast in one period and in one season. And so for several years in a row."
And so it was. I rarely sit in one place.
аватар HotLine
I take my words back, you are not a "real tourist".
But it doesn't change the laws of physics.
My first manager flies to Antalya on April 6th. As usual, from 7 to 12 they will travel along the entire coast. They will live in at least 4 hotels in different resorts.
Our latest infotour to Turkey is at the end of May. 5 days from Marmaris to Kusadasi.
What hotels are you going to in April?
аватар Pachok
I am not going to Turkey in April. Over the years, I have determined for myself the best time to relax on the Anatolian and Aegean coasts. And it's not April.
аватар HotLine
I see. You have already written above.
"as a tourist who has been vacationing in Turkey for many years in early October. This is the best season"
I just wrote -
"Therefore, real tourists like Pachok can't have statistics on where it's warmer in September or April."
And you kind of objected to me. I decided that every year in April and September you travel along the coast of Turkey.
Although I doubt that 1.5 years ago you left Kemer along the coast. And you didn't go to Rixos either.

аватар Zlata28
there are such disputes and battles)))
I will express my opinion and only mine
(this is to immediately warn that I will not enter into disputes)
over the years of trips to Turkey at different times and in different regions
for myself (here I emphasize once again that FOR MYSELF)
I think May and September are ideal, and the beginning of October
for holidays on the Antalya coast
why? I explain:
the weather is wonderful (I don’t like hell), the water is not fresh milk
there are not so many vacationers as in, for example, in July-August
and this is very reflected in the service and "fullness" on the beach in the restaurant, etc.
аватар HotLine
I doubt that anyone will argue in this opinion.
The only addition is that on the Aegean coast, the comfortable season is shorter by about a month.
аватар Zlata28
yes, hotline, you are right
for the Aegean coast, the "terms" are slightly different, yes
аватар Karapuz82
At the beginning of May in Aegean is it completely dubar?
аватар Alfini
dubar in the water, heat on land
аватар Karapuz82
Is the bar street already open in early May?
аватар Pachok
"I decided that every year in April and September you travel along the coast of Turkey"
Why do this every year? A couple of times was enough. Highly recommend Finike and Kas in September. Story!
HotLine, I didn’t quite understand what Rixos has to do with it ... but it was in October 2009 that I rested in Tekirov in Marti Mir and traveled to other places on the coast - to Cirali, Antalya and Papillon Belleville in Belek to see a friend.
аватар Pachok
Karapuz82, Not everything works and not in the same mode as in the season.
аватар HotLine
That's what I brought you closer. Rixos has nothing to do with it. I know that you vacationed in Marty Mir that year (although you chose Rixos). And the hotel was booked independently. We flew with VizeAir. The transfer was ordered from ... (I forgot, but I can find it).
So (these are my "so", yours will continue). How can one draw systemic conclusions "So - Alanya is NOT warmer than Kemer", after driving between Kemer and Belek?
аватар julia-k
Interestingly, the girl who asked the question made at least some conclusion for herself?
аватар Pachok
"It's a pity that we never heard the head of the transport department" :))))
HotLine, so I had a rest in 2009. And she began to travel to Turkey and travel to Turkey in 1997, and not once a year. Believe me, during this time I had the opportunity to compare different resorts, including at the same time.
Z.Y. If you're wondering why I didn't go to Rixos - the website I was going to book it through didn't want to accept 100% prepayment from me. And the next year ("thank you" to Mrs. Matavilkina) Rixos stopped accepting reservations from CIS citizens through these sites altogether.
аватар Pachok
For the girl who asked the question:))):
Few inputs! It would not be bad to find out what the girl and her husband prefer - the steppe or the mountains, sand or pebbles, heat or coolness, "three" on BB and HB or luxury "five" on all. Which souvenirs do you like more - practical or "decorative"...
аватар HotLine
I give up. Let's summarize. I believed that you were in Turkey in all seasons and traveled in all seasons to all resorts on the coast.
But you won't mind if I assume that real tourists don't do that, will you? I'm just not going to classify you as real. In this connection, please read my answer above about resorts without the phrase "such as Pachok,"
And only in the autumn of 2009 you did not reach Alanya.
аватар HotLine
I did not know about the situation with the Ricos. It was interesting to read. For which you are grateful.
But you understand that it's not about Matavilkina. Not her level. This is a system solution.

THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYONE WHO RESPONDED! And I want to immediately apologize for not writing for a long time. It was not possible. I'll start with specific questions, because. after reading the entire amount of the information presented, I fell into a state of prostration :) I want heat of 26-32 degrees Celsius, a sandy beach, decent service and a choice of dishes in the hotel (husband is a terrible fussy :), 5 *, "all inclusive", the possibility of take-out ( officially allowed, and not secretly:) food and drinks from the restaurant to the room, because my husband loves to eat at night :), as well as the opportunity to choose practical and cute souvenirs. Phew, it seems to have covered everything !!! Thanks in advance to everyone who will respond and advise.
