It is good to go to Alanya in May. This is the warmest resort in Turkey. The sea is about 20-22 degrees, calm, the weather is not hot (+22-27). Hotel Ozkaymak, Gunesh Garden, Rubi, Lunisera, Sapfir. really liked it.

I can recommend hotels in the area of Mahmutlar, Konakli .. there is sand and a good beach.
