Question for adventure travelers
I want to go to Turkey (Alania) as a savage. Question for those who traveled independently from Antalya airport to Alanya - help: what is the cheapest way to get there? Is it possible to order a transfer somewhere at reasonable (not taxi) prices?

I have never traveled myself, but in general, public transport is very well developed in Turkey. Local buses run quite frequently. I’m not sure that you can leave directly from the airport, I didn’t see any buses there except for those that came for organized tourists. But if you get to Antalya itself, then it will certainly not be difficult to catch a bus to Alanya. Drive about 2-2.5 hours. For the price - I think it will be about $ 20, from Kemer to Antalya it cost 14, Kemer is closer.

this issue was already discussed a month ago here. Buses run along the coast. But you can only get out of the airport by taxi. Gasoline is expensive - more than 2 dollars per liter. Accordingly, the prices. But apart from the transfer, there are still questions - there are no direct regular flights from the CIS to Antalya. And charter tickets are not always sold. Settlement. This is not Sochi, and not Yalta. Apartments are not rented out. In our experience, only animators who go there to work bought a flight from us. And to relatives and suitors bought full tours

What is your adventure? in savings? so don’t save if you want cheaper, please have three rubles if I’m going to Turkey for work, then I buy three rubles, it’s still cheaper and easier than planning your own REST, and if you mean independent movement around the country, then this is please me and my husband went from Antalya to Istanbul lived there for 3 days, then returned back without any difficulties.

Not true!!!! buses to Alanya run from the Antalya bus station, quite regularly. From the airport to the center of Antalya, a taxi is 20 lira. If you need to find an apartment to rent, I can give you the coordinates of a local who works in the tour business for private tours. If you really need it. And so - everywhere along the coast on empty houses - ads in Turkish - for sale and rent. and phones. And regular flights to Antalya, and for charter you can only buy a ticket, without a tour. But this is beneficial only if you are traveling with a large company not for a week.

To all who responded - thank you. I haven't been to Turkey, so any information is priceless. The apartment is not needed, I hope that there will be no special problems with hotels in the off-season. I don’t count on savings from independent travel, just being tied to one operator / city / hotel and walking / traveling in a group is BORING! And if you buy a hotel, and then do not live there, then what is the point of buying a tour? Where is the savings? ...There are no problems with the flight - Aeroflot flies regular direct flights to Antalya

In the same style. Truth!!! There are no regular flights from Ukraine to Antalya (we work in Ukraine). For interest, I looked at Amadeus flights from Moscow to Antalya from March 3 to March 9 (a week) - there are no direct flights. The cheapest option is via Istanbul for $778 per person. For me, this is natural, well, Russians do not fly en masse to Antalya without tours. No demand - no supply. On charter flights (of the same Aeroflot, Aerosvit) you can buy seats, but not always. This is not why the operator buys a flight

I wrote - "Apartments are not rented out." Rent cottages, mansions, apartments. But it is beneficial to live in them only with a large company. Alisa93, read carefully, I wrote - from the airport only by taxi. The airport is not the bus station you are talking about. And about excursions. There is nothing to see on the Antalya part of the coast of Turkey. This part of Turkey has almost no history. The whole story on the coast of the Aegean - Troy, Pamukkale, Ephesus, the temple of Artemis, the house of the mother of Christ. And this is 1000 km north of Alanya
