How is the weather in Turkey now? They say the heat is unbearable.
Is it within the normal range or is it really creepy??

For me, yes, the heat is unbearable and I will never go there at this time of the year. My friend is flying away on August 7, and in response to my remark that it is very warm there, she said, and I need it, I like the sea to be hot.
Everyone has their own threshold of perception of hot and cold.

We returned from Kemer a week ago. Yes, it’s hot, of course. And where is it not hot now?! I’m not talking about Australia, where it’s winter now :))) But it’s tolerant, and in the evenings it’s just comfortable, sometimes a light pleasant breeze blows. And the sea .. .the sea is just magical and smells like watermelons. Enjoy your holiday!

Yes, it's cooler than in Kyiv now :))))
I flew in from Turkey on the 19th, rested in the village of Chalysh, near Fethiye, it was not hot there, it was generally cool in the morning and evening, you can sleep without an air conditioner, a constant breeze, several times the wind froze on the beach. Indeed, cooler than at home. For myself, I concluded that it is quite possible to go to that region in July.

Yes, I want to add that everyone has a different sense of temperature. So, I'm one of those people for whom the heat is a disaster, I just can't stand it.

I don’t know what is happening on the Antalya coast (it was unbearable there in September last year due to excessive humidity), but on the Aegean coast it’s just excellent (we returned on July 17th from Sarigerme near Fethiye), much better than in Kyiv on asphalt.

It is hot and humid in Turkey. The feeling of a sauna does not leave even in the evening.
I won't go to Turkey in summer!

This is on the Antalya coast, but on the Aegean it is much more comfortable.

Thanks to everyone for the answers, I’ll still take a chance to go, now it’s really hot everywhere, but it’s better at sea!

Definitely near the sea, the heat is better tolerated than in the city.

We returned on the 17th, in the suburbs it is much hotter than in Side. There, by 18-19h you can safely count on coolness (no one will cancel the morning and evening breezes :), but here it is stuffy even at 22h.
Go, you won't regret it :)

Thank you, pleased. I'm flying to Side today. So I will rest from stuffiness and the smell of burning. Super!

Hello Turkey, hello Side!
Take a dip for us in Ak-Deniz (Do you know that you are flying to the White Sea for a vacation? :), drink raki with ice and forget about temperature records for a week or two...
Good luck!

This year, unlike the European part of Russia, it is not as hot there as usual.

I was in Alanya in mid-July, stuck out all the time by the sea - very comfortable, the heat is well tolerated
