With a child, I think it's better in Antalya, Belek here, the hotels are newer than in Marmaris and the beaches are better (speaking in general about hotels). In Marmaris, you need to choose away from the city, especially from the center, this is an old resort town and a lot of hotels are concentrated in its center. The beach is urban, there are a lot of people. I haven't been to Goynuk.

Marmaris itself is not a children's option. Youthful, noisy, active, small areas near hotels, most hotels have city beaches. Other resorts flying into Marmaris airport - yes. Fethiye, Sarigerme, Icmeler, etc.
But, anyway, for children's recreation in Side, Belek, Lara, Kemer (and others like him) more has been built. But, as always, there are nuances. In August I would recommend Marmaris, Bodrum, Kusadasi. Again, prices.

Marmaris is certainly a beautiful place, BUT NOT FOR REST WITH A CHILD. This is a youth resort. Your option is Antalya, Kemer, Belek. Goynuk is a resort in Kemer. Very good place. The sea is clean, the entrance to the sea is good everywhere. The hotels are excellent. I advise you there. We vacationed there last year. Everything was just great.

Thanks a lot for the replies.
Last year we rested in Kemer (Beldibi), the sea is solid cobblestones, but it is indicated as pebbles, the child never went into the sea, and just didn’t like the area, so we are considering the option of the Aegean coast

Do not draw conclusions from one holiday. In Beldibi - also a different entrance to the sea. There are cobblestones, then the entrance from the pier, and there is also a cleared pebble entrance. Guynyuk near Kemer is a completely different option. The entrance is clean, small pebbles. For children - the best option. Although I would also recommend a holiday in Side. For small children - what you need. For adults - too shallow sea. Walk knee-deep in water for about 150m. But you don't have to worry about the kids. But not the Aegean coast. You will be disappointed. There, in hotels, there is not even a children's menu, children's entertainment, too, miniclubs are a miserable semblance. Good luck!

if you have been to Anapa, you can imagine the beaches in Alanya. It is only golden sand. Take your child there. And you will entertain yourself without a child when you return home. Our children are the most important thing in life

I think the best option is Kemer (Gyuynuk). Were there in different hotels. As a rule, the entrance is sand and small pebbles. Some hotels have a special section of the beach for children. The bottom has been cleared and there are concrete partitions (under water), they are not very close, the children do not reach them and do not swim (so they are not injured). But for that, on a circle or a water mattress, they will not be carried away if you are suddenly distracted. If you write something, I will write the hotels in which I was.

Marmaris is more suitable for outdoor activities, as a rule, youth You are better off with a child on the Antalya coast In Belek, sand and pebble beaches were with a child for 4 years in the sea, bathing constantly There were sands in Side, a smoother entrance to the sea On the Antalya coast, there are many hotels on the territory of which there are your own amusement park, which is very convenient with children, try to look after such a hotel for yourself Have a pleasant stay

in Marmaris youth recreation. We rested in May (opening of the holiday season) at the Grand Yazici Marmaris Palace Hotel (in a pine forest on a mountainside between Marmaris and Icmeler). There, of course, there is children's animation (disco in the evening, games in the afternoon (only in English !!!!) We took figure skates with us and rode in the evenings at the skating rink on the seashore (for our hotel it is free if you have your own skates, there is skate rental) The hotel is cheerful - 80% of family foreigners (come by compatriots. But there is no children's entrance to the sea ... the children swam only in the pools and on the hill in the shade among the pines (strictly a couple of hours a day). In the resort of Marmaris + Icmeler, the sea is cooler for a couple degrees (a mixture of Aegean and Mediterranean) than on the Antalya Riviera. There are a lot of hotels in Turkey for a fun and comfortable stay with children. ...)

Antalya, Belek are better with a child. Marmaris is not for children, the more it is cooler there. We rested in Side with children, Belek, Antalya and liked Side most of all. The hotels have good animation. There are aqua parks, amusement parks and the sea is excellent.

Belek and Side are sandy beaches. Lara, Kundu, Alanya - almost everywhere.

For a child - From the Antalya coast definitely: Alanya, Side, Belek! Belek: mostly 5 * hotels, 1st coastline, sand, but a little expensive; Side: good, average option in terms of price-quality; Alanya - a lot of inexpensive options! Kemer: gorgeous nature, mountains, but there are practically no sandy beaches.

If in Marmaris, then not on the Aegean Sea. It is not for a small child, it is quite cold: 22-24 degrees and the entrance to the water from the pontoons is immediately to a depth of at least 3 meters.

Very good with a child in Side-the sea is excellent, the sand is not deep, there is children's animation, slides.

For a child, I think the Antalya coast will be better, and the water in the sea is warmer.
