We rested in Fortezza in the fall of 2021. And, honestly, we liked the rest so much that we decided to come back here again.
The hotel itself, that is, if we talk about buildings, the design of the hall, rooms, restaurant, cannot boast of any kind of luxury or designer bells and whistles. Everything is very modest.
But everything else ...I'll start from the moment of settlement:
The day we paid for staying at the hotel starts at 14:00 and ends at 12:00 the next day - this is a generally accepted rule.

We took an overnight flight. We flew to Dalaman early in the morning and arrived in Fortezza at about 10 am. First of all, everyone was invited to have breakfast. Besides, we did not pay for this breakfast. After eating, people returned to the reception, where the registration was going on. Then it was announced that from about 12 o'clock there would be ready-made rooms, and it would be possible to come up for the keys, but for now, two rooms are being opened for us next to the reception, so that we can change clothes and go to the beach.
This is an indicator of the hotel's respectful attitude towards its guests.
We were offered a room right away. Most likely because we had a child with us.

- We have a ready room here, on this floor. 1509. Look at it. If you don't like it, then change it.
- We booked a room with a sea view
-This room has a sea view.

The room was small, but fresh and clean. Three full beds with good mattresses. The view from the balcony was, rather, not on the sea, but on the roof of the bar, above which a strip of the sea was visible, but we realized that from our room to the beach, restaurant, bar and reception are equally close. And you don't have to wait for the elevator. We decided not to change. We told the girl at the reception "thank you" and went to the beach. And when they returned, they found a compliment from the hotel in the room: a plate of fruit and a bottle of wine. A trifle, but nice.

The hotel is located 20 kilometers from Marmaris, in the center of a narrow, long bay, surrounded on all sides by mountain ranges.
Some mountains are bald, others are covered with dense pine forests. Mountains of different heights and throughout the day they play a game of light and shadows. The terrain is mountainous, and the territory of the hotel is gently sloping, flat. There are almost no stairs, ascents and descents (a couple of small stairs with several steps are duplicated by ramps), which is just perfect for families with kids, with strollers and people with sore feet. The territory is stretched along the sea and the beach near the hotel is so long that it is not difficult to find a free sun lounger. Somewhere it is quite narrow - in one sunbed, somewhere wider. But the main thing is that you don’t have to go “hundred meters” to the water.

Almost the entire territory is a beautiful, well-groomed park with neatly trimmed lawns and old, shady trees. Palms, pines, eucalyptus, cypresses. Well maintained lawns. Flowering bushes.

In addition to the main building, the hotel has several houses and bungalows located in the depths of the territory.
Some with their own pools.

A promenade alley runs through the entire hotel along the beach. It starts at the very first platform and the tent of the aquatic center, where you can rent a scooter, ride a banana, passes by the pool and slides, and ends at the amphitheater. In the middle of the promenade there is a bar, a restaurant where you can have a bite to eat with something like potato chips and hamburgers. There are also toilets.
Another bar is located at the end of the promenade near the pools and slides.

All night discos and day parties take place at the farthest end of the hotel so that the noise does not interfere with rest. Those who lived in hotels, when you hear the thump of disco speakers all night, and during the day outside the window the animator yells joyfully, shouting over the music, will appreciate this layout.
Slides, by the way, are average, not terrible. Equally suitable for children and adults

The beach is sandy, but the entry into the sea is small pebbles. It's better to wear slippers.
There are several platforms.
The entrance to the sea is gentle, but not long. The depth starts quite quickly. The day is interesting. Tongues of sand are replaced by islands with grass. Of course, there are no tropical corals here, but here you can see sea cucumbers, large fish, starfish, and even huge sea turtles. In addition, schools of fry hide under the platforms. In shallow water, at the very end of the beach, we saw small fish - dogs.
And early, early in the morning, a carriage-carriage floats past the last pontoon - those same sea turtles.
If you swim with a mask, then you will not be bored.

The restaurant in Fortezza is the most ordinary. We lived in hotels where there was champagne, in the buffet window there were decanters of freshly squeezed juice, huge dishes with strawberries, king prawns, where there were so many cheeses and such that the eyes ran wide: from huge black heads, from which it was necessary to scrape the cheese with a special spoon to cheeses with noble mold.
There is no such luxury in Fortezza, but the most important thing is that the food is really tasty and varied. The grill pavilion is open for lunch and dinner, where they make kebabs, fry fish, bake vegetables. And in front of him there is an oven, where cakes are made and baked. Plain and with cheese.
Twice in our 10 days, the hotel hosted a gobbling feast, with additional cake and pastry display cases built inside the restaurant and carts like those used by street food vendors outside next to the grill pavilion. And there were delicious meals.
There is always airan in the bars and ice cream in the afternoon. Not only for children. For all.

Animators - well done. They are constantly calling people somewhere. Either shoot from the air, then play volleyball, then do yoga, then do aqua aerobics, etc. , etc.
Several times a week they arrange banana rides for children. I don’t know how it will be this year, but with us 7 minutes cost $10.
They ride without tipping over, in life jackets, with an animator who sits in the back and makes sure that none of the children fall off.
We rode twice. After the first one, my son was delighted. On the second skating, as a person with experience, he himself put on a life jacket and was the first to sit on a banana.
And when, a few days later, they again invited to ride, he refused. We attributed it to the fact that I was sitting first: the wind in the face, the spray, the banana nose jumping in front of you. That's where he got scared. But then he told us that yes, it was all there, but there was something else: three dolphins swam past their banana. Big and black.
In addition to the banana, the animators arranged for the kids to color bags and T-shirts. And in the evening, before the children's disco, the finished bags were solemnly handed over to little authors. They were interviewed. Often these interviews turned into real shows. It was also paid.
For another 10 days of our holiday, the animators held a fire show, two neon discos.

There was a concert of some group with a singer, but we went to bed, as it was quite late. A Turkish dance troupe performed.
We didn't watch this show either. We were expecting a folklore group, national costumes, but it turned out to be modern dances.
But then the troupe of the Mongolian circus arrived. It was a complete circus performance. The Mongols did such things. And then another one - the Cuban circus. Just WOW and fly away.
So everything together: the beauty of nature, the territory of the hotel, the sea, positive emotions from communication with the hotel staff, food and entertainment made the rest simply fabulously beautiful.
That's why we'll be back there in a month.
