Last year I was in Marmaris (I had a rest in Icmeler). A lot of people, the sea is more or less clean starts near "Marbella". I advise you to look for a hotel in "Seteler" (Flamingo, Tropical ...) The sea is much cleaner there. And even better in Icmeler.
