This is my first hotel review.
So, first things first. . .
We arrived at the hotel around 8:30 am. Check-in was quick, literally 15-20 minutes. And that's where all the pluses of the hotel ended. . .
We got a room under the roof, like an attic. The lack of towels immediately caught my eye. Because The staff understands Russian at a fluent level, we had to explain our problem to three employees for two hours. After the road and a sleepless night, it was another test. After our return from breakfast and communication with the hotel guide, we received towels and were able to relax.
NUTRITION

I will say this, we are not spoiled tourists. We were never hungry, but there was not much variety either. From meat, mostly chicken in various forms, chicken offal, a couple of times there was beef goulash (delicious), once a turkey. A lot of fast food, often of dubious appearance, taste, and quality. Local sausages and sausages, we do not eat this. There were two fish in a week. Once, not at all edible stew and on the last day fried like dorado and like mackerel. Garnish with rice, french fries, stewed potatoes, pasta. Lots of vegetables, both fresh and baked or stewed. Lots of greenery. For breakfast there were always eggs in different forms, pancakes (delicious). What we liked was the variety of cheeses and the constant availability of natural yoghurts, as well as yoghurts with herbs and spices. Well, this cannot be taken away from Turkey. Desserts are completely mediocre. There were fruits for every meal: watermelons, melons, oranges, apples and a couple of times plums. Here we ate watermelons.
The employees of the canteen (this place cannot be called a restaurant) tried their best. Portions were served from the heart and you could take a supplement if you were ready to stand in a huge queue for the second round.
There were lines both at the entrance to the dining room and at the distribution of food (the influence of the coronovirus affected). In order to take everything you want, you had to stand in FIVE(!!! ) queues. Sometimes it was fast, but in general, the collection of food took about half an hour, or even longer.
The biggest problem, in my opinion, was the lack of drinking water. Water could only be taken in bars in plastic cups. The quality was such that it seemed to have been scooped up from the pool... They took several glasses of mineral water for lunch and poured it into bottles. But only a couple of days. Water was bought in Migros, since the price was affordable.
We did not notice any biased attitude towards the Slavs.
ROOMS
There is a double-edged sword here. Tired, to put it mildly. We were lucky that the air conditioner worked properly all seven days. Some guests complained that they could not wait for three days for the master. And without air conditioning, and even in a room under the very roof, surviving was a real test. Removed from us in a week once and then at our request. And here again the quest called "Get yourself towels. " Coming from the sea, we did not find them. The maids, if you can call them that, shrug and say that the towels will be later. At the reception they answer - wait. And this problem was not only with us. There were people who waited for towels for three days from the moment of settlement. Only the requirement to call a senior manager sped up the process a bit. This time, for two of us, by some miracle, we got 11 (! ) Towels, which we took care of until the last day and did not ask to change them. Among the coveted towels were several brand new ones.

The power supply of the rooms is done in such a way that everything turns off when you take the key away from the room. Those. The fridge only worked when we were in the room.
The bathroom looked like a toilet at some station. The tank was constantly leaking, as was the liquid soap dispenser. The shower tray was too small with a battered curtain. There was always a big puddle on the floor after a shower.
On the last day, the mechanism for closing the balcony door broke. Good thing it was the last day.
TERRITORY
Relatively large and well maintained. There are three pools, but this year our holiday was under the motto "No pools". To be honest, I don't understand people who prefer chlorinated sea water. . . Go to the beach for 5-7 minutes at a leisurely pace. We are not fans of roasting in the sun, so sunbeds are not relevant for us. We went to the sea 3-4 times. Before and after breakfast, before and after dinner.
Will I return to this hotel? NEVER!! ! Well, except for very ridiculous money.
But Marmaris won my heart. And if possible, I will go there again. The city deserves to be loved. Beautiful promenade, interesting old streets. Lots of photo locations. And all this is within walking distance. But the most important advantage is still a clean and warm sea surrounded by mountains covered with pine forests.
