How can I wash and dry clothes in this hotel?
Hello! My husband and I are going to Marmaris for 2 weeks. I am interested in such a ridiculous question: if it is necessary to wash something (I do not take into account linen and a swimsuit), is there a basin, a clothesline, clothespins in the room? I just don’t want to overpay money for dry cleaning ... but I’m a clean person and I can’t live without laundry! Please advise how to be! Thank you all in advance.

Of course, there are no basins or clothespins there. As well as floor rags and pots. It's a pity - what if someone doesn't want to"overpay" for cleaning the room or eating in a restaurant :)))
The dryer on the balcony can be for swimwear and towels.

You can hand it over to the laundry (most hotels have such a service), or just take more things, or buy things there in a store or at a bazaar. Well, if there is just a craving to wash, then in the sink with your favorite powder, and then hang all this beauty and purity on a string with clothespins you brought with you on your balcony, preferably during the day and in the sun. Doesn't dry well at night!

Everything is simpler =) We take powder with us, if the room is normal with a bathroom, then it can be used for these purposes, I usually plug the drain with a bag, if there is no cork, we wash it in the usual way, you can dry it on the balcony on chairs, because, as a rule, on the balcony there is a table and chairs, and I use them as a dryer. And do not need basins, ropes, clothespins. And I always take the powder and always, suddenly you get your favorite dress dirty, it’s a shame not to wear it until the end of the vacation =) It’s really expensive to hand it over to the laundry or ironing.

There is none, and I doubt there is anywhere. In some hotels, except that the dryers on the balconies.
But washing is as easy as shelling pears - pour a little powder into a small jar at home, take it with you. If you need to wash, plug the sink with a stopper, a bag, or I don’t know, a sock or something. You can hang it on chairs on the balcony or in the bathroom on the towel rack. For safety, take a few clothespins, suddenly there will be a dryer. A basin, a rope, clothespins ... all this, IMHO, is superfluous, you won’t overwash your entire wardrobe there, it’s better to take more clothes.

And what for me these Canaries? I soaked the laundry ... (c)

You are being ironic in vain, Pachok! We just have white things - you can easily get dirty with fruits, juices. You probably don’t understand me, but clean and tidy people tend to look neat, clean and smell good :))

Do not take expensive things to dry cleaning. They ruined my dress there, and they didn’t pay any compensation, they just didn’t take money for the “work” done.
аватар Pachok
Kozerozhka, of course, I can't understand you. I will never wash good expensive things in a hotel in a basin. And no one bothers to take cheap T-shirts and change them as needed. And yes, neat people do not tend to save on laundry. Basins, clothespins ... fu, scoop.

Some hotels (for example, Magic Life, Aldemar Cretan Village) have special sliding dryers on the terrace balconies, very convenient! But if not, what's the problem? Pull the rope with clothespins - even in the bathroom, even on the balcony or terrace, if there is something to hook on :) I always do this, it's better than dragging suitcases of clothes. And I don't care what they think. I would simply disdain to give my own, and even more so children's, things into "the wrong hands." I have repeatedly seen how the cleaners drop clean towels and sheets on the ground, and then, as if nothing had happened, bring them into the rooms.

Well, you inflated the problem out of a simple laundry !!! All are right. Indeed, even in 3 * there are dryers on the balconies, and the sinks are deep enough to replace the basin (in case of a shower, not a bath). And our woman will always find a way out. The main thing is to take with you a mini pack of s/powder or soap to remove stains. I usually take (weight 100 g) - it never came in handy!

What happiness! At least one clean tourist was found! And then, all the rest - assholes, how do they rest without washing? Mystery?
Pachok, +1, I fully support you!

So I wonder how I manage to gain 19 kg of junk for 10-14 days. Even though I'm male! And despite the fact that all the things you need!
For everyone else: take powder, bandages, clothespins, paper clips, plug drains in sinks with panties and ... wash your hands. And then all on the balcony! Collective farm "Krasny Lapot" in Turkey! What I'm talking about: If you arrived at a decent hotel, saved up or just took money from the nightstand, then behave appropriately. Do not dishonor yourself or your compatriots!
аватар abysfinks
Yes, I forgot, from these 19 kg you need to cross out 3 kg for vodka in glass (gifts to our Turkish and former Soviet friends!)!
аватар _Ivi_
Well, it’s strange to expect a laundry from the “male sex” in general, and even more so on vacation. And about 19 kg of things, the male sex is also different for the male sex =)
аватар Pachok
If a male has 46 foot size, then two pairs of shoes already occupy 2/3 of the suitcase and weigh a lot :)))

Lord! the review must be read carefully and to the end, in general, I don’t get this bar of soap out of my suitcase for 3 years (just in case), and we collect at least 35 kg of things for two, swimsuits, underwear, clothes to change clothes 2-3 times a day without washing, while shoes for 5 pairs (just everything is light), be sure to vodka, champagne, cognac (unlike soap comes in handy) Men do not understand women's problems. Dear compatriots, no one is going to dishonor you with cowards on a string, rest easy!

Hello ! I took WAVE washing sheets with me to Turkey. The package weighs 100 grams, sooooo convenient. I soaked it right in the sink and everything was washed off perfectly. Unfortunately, not every hotel is equipped with a washing machine for guests... I advise everyone to follow my example!
