I live and work in Marmaris, so I know how it really is firsthand. In Palace, food is really not very good, from other disadvantages - instead of a sandy beach - a concrete platform. And the territory is beautiful, like in the forest. If you have not booked yet, I advise you to go to Turban - there is the same owner as in the Palace, but the bungalows and rooms are much newer, and the service is better according to the stories of the tourists themselves.

We had a similar situation when we went to Mares, this is the same Grand Yazici chain, only Grand Yazici Mares of all three is the oldest and cheaper. The reviews were so contradictory that it was very alarming, but we were lucky with the number, it was in excellent condition, and we simply did not pay attention to other minor flaws. If you are really scared, then go to Turban, it is the newest of all three.

From the Grand Yazici hotel chain, I like Palace and Turban, I can't say which one is better. The food is on the same level, but I like the restaurant in the Palace more. Regarding the beach: yes, a concrete platform, but if you want to swim on a sandy beach, you can walk 10-15 minutes from the hotel towards Icmeler along the promenade. As for the rooms: both in the Palace and in Turban, they can immediately settle in a good room, or they can settle in a bad one, especially in the high season, when there are many vacationers in the hotel. But if they settled badly, they often move to a good room in one or two days. The main thing is to be persistent. And as far as I know, in Turban at the reception they like to take money for rooms more than in the Palace.
