Prices are cheaper in street agencies. You can contact anyone. There were Demre-Mira-Kekova and sailed on a yacht. Everything is interesting.

Kemer itself is very interesting. Must visit
moon light park. Go for a walk in Antalya (Kaleiçi). Very interesting boat trip

Ginza Travel and Maxwell tour to help you! These are local Turkish travel agencies with offices in almost all the villages. The quality is on top, the prices are lower than those of the operators.
What to visit is up to you.
I join the council about Demre-Mira-Kekova.
It’s better to go to Antalya, in general, by yourself, since this Kaleiçi will be 30 minutes at best, and at worst - they will show Hadrian’s gate and further - through the “factories” :( Our tourists usually fall for this offer because of its free or cheap price.
The leader of my "hit parade" is Ephesus, but it's a long way to go from Kemer.
If you love the theater, I recommend going to the "Fires of Anatolia", an absolutely amazing performance! I was lucky to see them in the old antique amphitheater in Aspendos, but people don't complain about the new one either.

Here it depends on what you like best. Kaleichi with the old port is very good, I agree. By sea on a yacht - for my taste, very monotonous, you swim for yourself, sometimes they will land you for a swim, the food is dancing, it's boring. From organized excursions, I would buy a jeep safari or ATVs with a route to the mountains. You can drive there, and the views are amazing. I liked the excursion to Demre and the World, especially if in spring / autumn, when there are few people. You can also take a taxi to the lift to Mount Tahtali, see the ruins of the city of Olympos.

Definitely prices are lower in street agencies. Buy, do not be afraid, Do not listen to horror stories that they will take away, they will not bring. Everything will be fine!
Excursions are different, for different tastes. Very interesting Mira-Kekova. You will not regret. Not boring and educational. We all family members of all ages loved it. And everyone was delighted with rafting! Adrenaline was there, but not dangerous. If you are with a small child, then feel free to take it with you. And the rest of the excursions, choose according to your tastes. Have a nice rest!

Most importantly, don't buy tours from your agent, and don't get fooled by the "mandatory meeting" at the hotel. The travel agent will sell tours 2 times more expensive than they cost, even taking into account the "discounts" that they will make "especially for you." Street agencies - our everything!
Mira-Kekovo is one of the coolest excursions. there is also swimming from the yacht - be sure to take a mask.
A trip with children on a "pirate boat" is still the same divorce, boring things for both adults and children.
Jeep safari is a cool thing, be sure to take it.

I agree with everyone, and wherever you go, it will be interesting everywhere. Only once I had a chance to take an excursion from Cirali to Demre, Mira, the island of Kekova with a stop in Simena - I liked it very much. So, if there is a driver, then you need to rent a car and go wherever you want. From Kemer I advise you to drive to Gelemysh (Patara), it will take a couple of days, with a visit to Olympos and Chimera to Cirali, then to Demre, Mira, where he served in the church of St. Nicholas, then through Finike, Kas, Kalkan (amazing towns for recreation) past the most beautiful beach of Kaputas to ancient Patara, where St. Nicholas was born, visit the largest beach in Turkey - 2 km from Gelemish, you can enter by car, I even have a pass left. You will drive along one of the most beautiful D400 roads. You can also leave for Pamukkale early in the morning, you will see everything in a day, you can also look into Kursunlu Park near Antalya. It will be cheaper by car, and you will see much more. Good luck!

Ginza travel - their offices are located at every turn in Kemer and in most villages (except Tekerov). They have good tours. Demre-Mira-Kekovo and hammam - a must visit. Pammukale - of course interesting, but long and tiring. You can visit Phaselis on your own (see my review of Phaselis - there I described in detail how to do it).

Thank you, friends for useful advice. We are flying in May --- 5 people!!! What interesting things can you buy there? Where is better in the market or in the supermarket? our tour operator said that the shoes are very good.
аватар ollennka
))) Well, I don’t know, I would compare Turkish shoes with German ones - strong and durable, but never beautiful. For an amateur, in general.
I usually bring a couple of kilos of nougat-lokum, pomegranate and mulberry wine (the bottle says "Sirince" ("Sirince"), I also tried others, but they don't taste good). Olive soap, choose the most collective-farm in appearance, without dyes and fragrances. At the market or in the supermarket - it doesn't matter, the producers are the same, but usually cheaper in the supermarket. Delight should be bought only in those places where they give you a taste before buying.

Thanks Alena, I'm taking notes, we all love wine !!! And who was in the Dinosaur Park and the Oceanarium? Probably very interesting too.
аватар Igor_m
"wine from pomegranate and mulberry" - and only him, I did not like all other wines, as well as the author of the answer. You can also take pomegranate juice and tea. If you go along the road to Demre, then in Finike or Kumluca you can buy all this at a profit, like clothes.

Hazelnut oil, fig jam. I advise you to buy all such "souvenir" products in supermarkets, and not in shops where they are more expensive.
I personally like Turkish wines. Yakut, Villa Doluca - practically "Georgia", who loves.
Home textiles - table and bath, the Turks have no equal here. But, again, given the dollar (and lira), prices are not particularly different from ours. I always carried Ozdilek towels, and then I found the same towels in Kyiv at the same price, and only when Novus began to sell them ....
аватар kolyan_cat
Fruit wines - I would be careful, my point of view, as a technologist, is rather not a traditional wine, but a wine-containing drink with added flavors and dyes. The same ones are sold in Kyiv - like "plum wine" "Mikado", only the quality of flavors is worse here.

I advise you to buy dried olives in vacuum packaging. Big choice. You need to buy in supermarkets M Migros, Bim. (Migros in the center opposite the mosque)

Thanks for the tip, my husband loves olives!

in Pammukale it was just right

Be sure to buy a bamboo blanket, or even several, the price is from 12 to 15 USD, it's awesome, better than any blanket.

I still always buy finely ground coffee. And, as correctly advised above, it is best to shop in Migros. It is sold there in jars of 250 gr., and in small bags of 100 gr. In Migros, a 100-gram bag costs 3.45 TL, on the street. Estuary, he is from 5 to 7 lire. In shopping centers where guides are brought, it is even more expensive. (prices October 2015)
There are LC Waikiki stores on Liman, as well as opposite Migros. Sometimes there are good things at reasonable prices.
On Tuesdays clothing market. It is better to go after 14-00, prices are dropped, but you need to bargain.
You can take a bus to Antalya to the old town or to the Zygort market. There are cheap rags on the second floor.
What ingredients are you eating? If you have children over 4-5 years old, then it makes sense to visit the dinopark (Goynuk). Children will be interested. And adults have nothing much to do there, given that the entrance costs somewhere around $ 35. A ticket to the Antalya Aquarium is about the same price category. If you choose one thing, definitely - the oceanarium.
аватар Pachok
We have already opened our own Waikiki, the prices are good, there are always sales.
аватар lotos12345
we are traveling with a group of 5 pensioners, the budget is limited, but we still want to go on an excursion and buy something interesting. Thank you all for the helpful advice!!!
