Hotel Ambassador - 3rd grade is not a marriage))
Hello everyone! Recently returned from Turkey! We flew with my mother and a friend.
It rained for a couple of days, but it was even better - it was time to go shopping not in the heat.
We lived at the Ambassador Hotel. The rooms are good, spacious, the food is generally normal (diarrhea pills came in handy). There were no fish, because in Turkey, fish is very expensive, according to local residents. The wine is lousy, the cocktails are mediocre. An animator hangs out near the pool, not very active, but very nice. Offers to "dart" - play darts, and step aerobics. But tourists mostly thump. The music is modern and loud, sometimes annoying. In general, entertain yourself.
Free Internet was given only 300 MB, paid - 3 euros per day. But the coverage is good, it also catches on the beach. The beach is pebbly, there is a bridge in the sea, as well as a bar with free water and tea. Beer, coffee, alcohol - for money, you can bargain. If you forgot your towel, you can leave a deposit of $20 and take it at the hotel, but they will give you a complete rag. It is better to buy a Turkish cloth for $1 and go to the beach with it - it dries quickly and weighs little.
Mostly tourists from Russia and Ukraine rested at the hotel, until May 8 a noisy group of Germans stayed. The Germans made noise and drank along with the Russians, 15 minutes before the end of the free alcohol service, 2 queues lined up for booze near the “nalivayka”. The first line demanded cocktails and bartenders in Russian, the second - in German. Bartenders from fatigue dropped bottles, somehow washed glasses. By the end of the day, they themselves were slaked - as I noticed, one of them tried almost every cocktail that he prepared from a shaker. Those whose windows overlooked the pool slept quite shitty at night - the alcohol-thrash lasted almost until the morning. Screams, songs, dances, etc.
Thank the gods, our windows faced the other side, and the scenery was beautiful.
Of the excursions, we took only the "Pirate Yacht" and visited the hammam.
Hammam is bullshit and a scammer. The cost is $ 10, but when you lie on the massage table after the foam procedures, your massage therapist suddenly breaks down somewhere and runs away. An aunt comes and starts to pile on you in your native language that you have huge problems with your back, legs, head and ass, that you are a damn disabled person and you won’t get up from this table, and our master massage therapist (the master is clearly from a plow, or just escaped from the village) will give you a super-massage for only 100 bucks. Well, for 80, or for 50, or at least for 25. Well, for how much you do not mind. She famously dismisses all your objections with clearly prepared phrases. DON'T FOLLOW! At best, you will be smeared a little with honey and a little more crushed.
And not the same hammam as before. Everything is put on stream and fouled up. Previously, a soapy massage lasted at least 30 minutes, but now it takes 10 minutes to exit. General massage - the same garbage. If you want a good massage, bargain with hotel masseurs. Although it is not a fact that it will be better there.
But the "Pirate Yacht" made us happy. The tour was bought from Ginza Travel, $40 for three, the Monster yacht. The animation is just amazing! On the pier we were met by a team of cheerful pirates, with songs and jokes. The disco was led by an exotic man with blue hair, pirates and pirates danced and sang live (the vocalists are excellent! ). We were entertained until the very return to the pier, we barely had time to change clothes, it was so interesting and fun. Travel agency managers told us that Ginza Travel paid a lot of money for this team of animators, in the hope of future profits. So I recommend this tour to everyone. The food on the yacht is good, alcohol - for a fee, 2 swim stops. If you don’t want to have fun, you can take a nap on the lower deck or in the hold on the sofas.
Kemer itself is a very beautiful city. You can wander around the shops for hours, but the goods are monotonous. A new feature - bright red denim jackets in rhinestones, stones and slightly torn, from $ 140. If you want to bring Turkish sweets as a gift to your relatives, choose those that are more expensive, they will be fresh and slightly tasty, or better, take them by weight. I also advise you to choose leather products carefully and bargain (some are bred for decent sums for outright indecency, people go shopping like they are drugged). Closer to the marina, near the beach Moonlight Park, Ay???? ? Park? , quite a decent shopping center and a dolphinarium. The beach is sandy, paid, but you can quickly swim. There are many cafes, the food in them is tastier than in the hotel.
In the evening, you can go to a nightclub or karaoke. Concerts of various stars are often held in Aura. Timati was just arriving, the crowd was incredible, so we went to karaoke. The sound is good, cocktails from 35 lira.
In general, the rest was a success. Of course, not everyone has. Theft in the hotel still thrives. A married couple from Ukraine was robbed of gold jewelry and a mobile phone from their room. The police came, what's the point of that? Nobody found anything. And your room can go easily, at any time. One afternoon, an administrator with two women flew into my friend’s room, opening the door with her key, frightened us, the next day, hotel employees jumped into her room, swearing loudly in Turkish. What these unauthorized intrusions were, we were never explained. And what are these requirements from a hotel guide - to write when we are going on excursions - in order to know exactly when no one will be in the room?
So be careful, don't drink too much (one tourist from Russia drank himself to hell and refused to fly away, meals at the hotel -38 euros per day without a bed), bargain with sweet-voiced Turkish sellers, or have fun from the heart and do not let anyone ruin your vacation. Turkey is always beautiful!
