I'm going for the first time - give good advice
I'm going to Turkey for the first time. tell me what is worth seeing, where to go, what is better to take for gifts, what coffee is excellent, how much money to take with you (so that you don’t suck your paw at home and have a good rest on vacation)

What to see - take a ride on excursions, there are many of them, from Kemer the most popular is Demre-Mira-Kekova. Just don’t buy from the guides at the hotel (I saw a question about excursions from Pegasus), go outside the territory, there are a lot of street agencies. The prices are much lower and the quality is the same. A good network of agencies in Kemer - Ginza Travel. Walk around the agencies, ask the price, only then take out your wallet. Guides at the hotel will hang all sorts of noodles on their ears and talk horrors about street agencies - do not pay attention.
Gifts - there are a lot of shops and shops with souvenirs in Kemer, choose according to your health; don't forget to bargain. Do not buy leather and jewelry (IMHO) - it is expensive, leather is often illiquid from Istanbul (issued as the latest collection), you can not guess with jewelry - there are many fakes, although they look quite beautiful.
In terms of money - 300 dollars per person will be enough for excursions and small souvenirs, you can get by with a smaller amount (I assume that you have ALL-INCLUSIVE in the hotel, and you don’t need to eat for money). Stock up on euros if you shop in duty-free (dollars are recalculated there at an unfavorable rate), I won’t tell you the amount, it all depends on your scope :).

Another gift - from a good one - copper items (vases, plates, teapots, etc.), with beautiful painting. There are beautiful plates / ashtrays, etc. made of multi-colored glass, you can pick up good quality (walk around, choose), there are lamps made of the same glass - but they are not cheap.
Different hookahs, backgammon, etc.
The main thing is to communicate politely and do not forget to bargain!
Coffee - I'll tell you which one is not worth buying - Mehmet Efendi, the quality sucks.
You can buy Turkish delight and other sweets, they cost from 1-1.5 dollars per box (take a little more expensive if the quality is not indifferent).
Well, magnets of course - where without them! :))) The price is from 1 dollar.
Good luck!

Considering that Turkey is practically my second homeland - I love this country and its friendly people very much, then the first thing you need to do is visit a tour in Pamukkale, it is very beautiful and on the way there you will form a great informational opinion about the whole of Turkey. Also interesting for me was a tour of Antalya. I liked diving, probably not so much the underwater world itself, which is limited to only one shoal of identical fish, but the dive itself, a boat trip, swims in the lagoons. Almost everyone on the Antalya coast speaks Russian, so don't worry, you will be understood. And my advice to you - do not be afraid and do not worry - good-natured people than in Turkey I have not met in the whole world. Good luck!

Fully agree with vda75. Regarding Pamukkale: a cool excursion, but from Kemer - for two days (since it's not close), if it doesn't scare you, you can safely go.
A must-see in Turkey is a hammam, not necessarily in your hotel (it's usually expensive in fives), you can go nearby. The normal price for it is $25-30.

yes, a hammam is what you need) on the first day of rest, even before going to the sunny beach, be sure to go to the hammam. After this procedure, you forget about all the hardships of everyday life that remained somewhere there - at home))! and a good rest begins ... Last year they also took a massage course - they bargained well with the administrator in the hammam. it turned out 75 UAH. - massage from heels to crown.

Well, massage, of course, is cool, but hammam is at least.

Turkish delight is better to buy by weight. In boxes, it can be completely lame, but you can try and choose which one you like. Price for 1 kg. was 13-16 USD, but worth it.

View: Pamukkale, Ephesus, Demre-Mira-Kekova, Cappadocia, jeep safari, you can also rafting and hammam (if you go to the hammam, then do it on the 1-2nd day upon arrival).
What to buy: spices, olive oil, Turkish delight (preferably by weight), magnets, if you go to Pamukkale, you can buy silk and textile products along the way (they bring them to a special store - very good silk scarves, for example), leather goods - belts, for example. But it is better to take them in stores with price tags in Turkish lira, because. It's cheaper and the quality is good. Yes, upon arrival, exchange part of the money for lira (only in special exchangers). So what else to bring. Oh yes, you can have Turkish jam - sold in supermarkets.
For money, I do this: euros - for duty free, dollars - for Turkey itself, but there I exchange part of the money for lira (I leave dollars only for excursions).

Everyone answered you perfectly, I’ll just add, you shouldn’t take extra money, $ 50 a day will be enough for you and for excursions and for gifts. You will hardly find excellent coffee there, I don’t repeat myself about jewelry, leather and furs either. If you are going for 10 days, then feel free to visit Demir-Kekkova and Pamukkale with Ephesus (preferably 2 days), if the tour is for 7 days, it’s worth taking one long trip, and so a boat trip, a Turkish night and of course start with a Turkish bath. Good luck!!!
