Good time of the day! My name is Evgeniy.
After reading the reviews here about different 5 * economy class hotels, the choice was made towards Sunland Resort & SPA through the operator Karya Tour. The choice was made on the principle of "least negative reviews". As a result, they realized that they did not lose, and absolutely all the negative reviews here have nothing to do with reality and are more like the heretical nonsense of a sleepy janitor with a hangover. My review is rather not a statement of positive impressions, but rather a refutation of the negative that has already been caused here. Because of these radishes-singers, there was no longer any mood to go on vacation.
And now in order:

1. Our arrival in Antalya was around 9 am (the first photo at the airport was taken at 9:03 am). While we waited for all the tourists who received a visa, went through passport control and looked for their luggage, were placed on buses, check-ins at all hotels along the way, who came to rest in their hotel, we got about 11 hours.
Filled out the form in 5 minutes. Giving the questionnaire immediately invested $ 20 in the passport and poked a finger that we should be placed in a room with a sea view. After 15 minutes we were already in the room. I immediately answer the dissatisfaction of those who write in the reviews saying that they were kept in the hotel lobby until 14:00: the reception for such people says that check-in is at 14:00, and check-out is at 12:00 (for those who said that they supposedly brazenly cut bracelets). Yes! Even on the way from the airport, the guide will tell you that on the way back to the airport, at the end of your vacation, you will be taken to the Sorbet sweet shop, where the prices for sweets are supposedly the lowest. Don't fall for this scammer. There prices are at least 2 times higher than in shops near the hotel. If you want to take sweets (Lukum) home with you, buy them near the hotel for 8-12 dollars, not 18!! ! in this Sorbet (in other matters, as in any store on excursions). Absolutely all tour operators are engaged in such a scam.
Upon arrival in Sorbet, there were already a dozen buses of various tour operators, among which were Pegass and Tez Tour and Coral, etc.
2. Cleaning in the rooms: Change towels, vacuum, make the bed. If you leave $ 1, then upon arrival you can see towels laid out on the bed in the form of hearts, swans, butterflies, fans, etc. I immediately answer for those who are dissatisfied with cleaning: What do you want from cleaning? Do you change your bed more often at home or do you pick up a vacuum cleaner every day? Or maybe you want your wet swimming trunks scattered all over the room to be cleaned up after you? Start ordering with yourself and see that the world is not as bad as you might think.

3. Meals: You need to remember in time that you are in another country with slightly different traditions. In Turkey, pork is not eaten at all, so it is simply useless to wait for it and blame it too (this is for the dissatisfied). Here someone complained that upon arrival at 10 am there was nothing to eat for breakfast.
And why don't you blame the fact that the timetable brazenly says that breakfast is until 10:00? I can’t understand how it’s possible to start filling your stomach right in the morning in such heat. Lunch and dinner are quite adequate in terms of nutrition. Yes, specific, but sometimes it is not clear by sight how spicy or sweet it is. BUT we must not forget that everyone has different tastes and someone is looking for spicy, and someone is tender. In fact, a very good time to sit for a week on a vegetable diet. Vegetables are just a sea in different forms: both fried and steamed, and so in pieces, as they say. : -)
4. The road between the hotel and the sea. I don’t know who she is annoying, but we stopped noticing her after half a day of stay. Most of the buses that bring tourists and sightseeing buses travel along it. Percent 10 local cars. Doesn't stress at all. The transition to the sea through the underpass, which is only 10 meters long. It doesn't stress either.
If there were no road, the same 100 meters from the beach to the hotel would remain and would be called the first line. I don't see a difference.

5 Sea and beach. Beach with sun loungers in the form of a platform 3 meters from the surface of the water. Well, such is the nature and landscape there that there are large stones in the sea, along which it is rather problematic to enter the water from the beach. Sorry, this is not the hotel's fault. It’s a normal decision when from this platform the stairs immediately go to where the water is waist-deep and you can swim straight from the stairs so as not to break your legs on the stones. It didn't bother me at all either. We went to a wild beach (about 500 meters from the hotel in the direction of Kemer). There it is really difficult to enter the water over the pebbles: some of the stones are slippery, some are sharp. All the time you are under the possibility of either cutting your legs or slipping. Regarding the garbage on the beach and in the water - say thank you to our dear fellow citizens. It's, sorry, not the hotel's fault that the swine nation came to rest.
6.
Animation Entertainment Guys just great. Considering that they are all Turks and only Shusha from Syria, they manage to do everything to make the fannings acceptable to us and our complex mentality. Yes, not without flat jokes a la Petrosyan, but the guys are trying and they should be given their due. Their working day starts at 10 am and ends after Show Time after 11:30 pm. All day long various gymnastics, aerobics, water sports, children's entertainment, etc. Just smart. There is information (I don’t know how reliable) that their animators come from the neighboring Grand Ring to spy on Sunland’s animation team, because they themselves can’t think of anything. Turbo, Shushu, Pony, Toothpick and Diesel you are simply the best.
7. Excursions: This is a separate issue that has nothing to do with the hotel. And I also don’t see the point in blaming the hotel if you don’t like the prices for excursions. Yes, the guide's breeze is simply sky-high. But this is the picture of any tour operator.
If you walk around the neighborhood near the hotel, you can find local tour agencies that are at least 2 times cheaper than you are ready to provide the same excursions along the same routes. BUT these excursions are already at your own peril and risk, because honey. insurance, which is not included in the cost of the tour, does not cover our waves of movement. I went on a jeep safari from the Maxwell street agency - I had a great time. And we took a tour of Pamukkale from the hotel guide. For 2, this tour cost $130 ($65 per person), when the guys we met there went for $30 per person. You also need to be prepared for the fact that the Turks are very good at selling, respectively, they are good at inviting. Therefore, it is necessary to develop strong immunity and not succumb to the very first offers that come across. For example, visiting the SPA center in the hotel, you should not immediately agree to a set of their procedures.

You can look for a trip to their hammam bath in a street agency much cheaper and in a real bath, and not on the -1 floor of the hotel. During the tours, you will be offered to stop by for wine tasting, an onyx factory, a textile center, etc. Do not be fooled by the fact that these are places where you can drink everything cheaper than anywhere else. This is exactly the place where everything is sold as expensive as possible. These are places for tourists. The guides seem to have a good pullback on this. For example, wine that is offered in a wine cellar for $25 you can buy in a shop near the hotel for $10. After all this was seen, there was not even a doubt about refusing a free trip to the shops of Antalya, which are offered by tour operator guides.
8. Someone said they didn't see the hotel guide. Rave. All the time that I passed by the table where the guide sits - there is always someone at the Pegassa table and at the KaryaTour table.
The guide is absent only at the time when he conducts an info-meeting, because he spends it at tables on the street near the lobby bar.
9. Drinks at the hotel: When I was just choosing a hotel, I found in the description that the mini-bar in the room was free for the first time, and you had to pay for the rest of the filling and somehow upset about this, because I understood that I was quite I drink in the heat. But when I saw their local drinks, I was even glad that they would not fill the mini bar with this horror. I went and bought juices and Coca-cola in a store 100 meters from the hotel. Turks have really terrible local drinks. And it's not the fault of the individual hotel. Now I know what Yupi is again. And this is not a special feature for hotel guests. They actually drink it. Well, they don't know how to make other drinks. Also, among the local drinks, they have an analogue of Coca-Cola, forfeits, sprite (with which the mini-bar is filled), as well as analogues of Baileys, Campari and Malibu at the bars. Really rubbish.
Therefore, if you are lovers of fine spirits, stock up on them in advance at Duty Free.

My personal recommendation. Do not rush on the very first day to offers for excursions, shops, SPA, etc. In the evening, walk a kilometer or two from the hotel towards Antalya through shops and bazaars to figure out the order of prices for yourself and be prepared for the fact that you will soar further. Believe me - this is a very useful procedure, so that later it would not be excruciatingly painful morally, when you see all this already but it will be too late.

That's probably all.
Write questions in a personal - I will answer with pleasure.

In general, the rest is just wonderful and did not want to leave the hotel. Everything is on top. Thoughts like: "Wouldn't I go to the same hotel again" are walking in my head. Recommend!

P. S. Sorry for such detailed descriptions.
