A huge disadvantage of this hotel is that the road to it takes about 1.5 hours, it is also a windy bay, the sea is somewhere around 24 degrees, you go out and freeze from the wind, there is practically no calm, there is always a wave!
The food is good but constantly repeated, it is diluted with new meat (shawarma, barbecue), fish is eaten every day, fruits (orange, grapes, plums, peaches, apples, melon, watermelon) are always there. Lots of sweets. With a drink: beer, wine, cola, sprite, fanta, cocktails. Bars by territory 2.
Cleaning in the room every other day, water was supplied only on the first day, but you can take it in the evening in the main restaurant after dinner. Cleaning is bad, everything is dirty, towels are changed at their discretion!
Wi-Fi catches very badly throughout the room - no! If you need something then go to the lobby where he works!
Safe in the room, towels on the beach - free of charge!
As for the sea, it is gorgeous, the water is clean, the entrance is both from the shore and from the pontoons, the entry is a bit small, it is more convenient from the pontoon. There were enough sunbeds for everyone, they came once, but there were no sunbeds, the beach worker saw what we were looking for and immediately dragged us a sunbed. The staff is very friendly, helpful, although they do not understand anything in Russian or English, a translator on the phone to help. Wi-Fi catches not everywhere, not in the room, in the restaurant, at the pools, in the lobby - excellent.
As for food, everything is fine, there are no queues at all in the morning, crowds of hungry people gathered at lunch and dinner, queued up until opening, we tried to come a little later, there was always enough food for everyone, from meat - beef, chicken, turkey, almost everyone grilled fish day. If you take a lot of drinks at the bar, the waiter helps to bring them to the table, they walk around, pour cold water for everything, ask to bring a device or a wet napkin - no problem, they respond to all requests very quickly. Excellent fish a la carte by appointment, very tasty and plentiful, served grilled dorado, appetizers, dessert, it's impossible to eat everything.
The contingent - 70% Turks, the rest - Poles, Russians, Ukrainians least of all. For 7 days, there was never Tagil, everything is very civilized: we didn’t see drunkenness, fights, chanson by the pool) We took an excursion from a guide (since there is nowhere else to buy) on a pirate yacht with swimming in the open sea - we liked it. We took a taxi (70 lire on the meter, cash payment, if dollars give change in lira) to the Midtown shopping center, there are a lot of sales, in H&M, Waikiki, prices are cheaper than ours, payment only by card. Opposite the hotel across the road is a grocery store like our ATB, we bought tea, halva (10-14 lire per pound), pomegranate sauce for meat 5.5 lira (a little more than 15 hryvnia in hryvnia), payment by card.
In general, a great stay turned out, I really liked the hotel, now I recommend it to my friends.
Now for the specifics. Pros: location (first line) and territory (the presence of two swimming pools, separate beaches, including those with grass). The territory is very green, well-groomed (staff rustled from morning to evening), and much more than neighboring hotels, it was not crowded. The presence of the A la Carte restaurant by appointment, the fish menu was excellent. The presence of a children's area and a small water park (although the opening time was limited to an hour before lunch and an hour in the afternoon). An employee is always on the water park zone during its operation, looking after the children. There were no questions to the staff, because they do not speak either English or Russian.
For Russian speakers, one girl worked at the reception, all current issues were resolved in working order. Accommodation - in a bungalow. There was a two-room suite, fresh renovation, a balcony. In general, nothing special, everything is modest, no frills. There were no complaints about cleaning. The rooms in the main building are like a hostel, long corridors, dense population. I think living there is less comfortable, although the rooms there were more expensive when booking. The upper part of the hotel did not work due to Сovida, but objectively they are BEHIND the road and it will take 400-500 meters to the beach. Wi-fi catches well, but in three places: in the lobby, on the third floor of the hotel and at the bar located on the beach. Restaurants and bars - nothing special, varied, but not very tasty. Since there was only one main restaurant, there were quite a lot of people, places had to be taken immediately before opening. Grill (fish/meat) was almost daily.
Minuses: the issuance of food by the chefs, because of which long queues formed, almost inedible sweets, fruit could also be better. Lack of animation, entertainment, volleyball - allegedly this was due to the epidemic.
Leisure: a store a hundred meters from the main entrance to the hotel, an acceptable assortment (like a small local ATB). Very tasty and cheap Nutella, in Ukraine the quality is worse)). The minibus to Yalikavak stops in front of the main entrance to the hotel, they run every hour during the day. Payment ONLY CONTACTLESS, strict observance of the mask regime. In the center of the village you could take a walk and sit in a cafe, there were a lot of offers. Very authentic market near the bus station. From the Yalikavak bus station, buses to Bodrum run every 30 minutes, the fare is about $ 1 per person. In Bodrum, of course, you can spend the whole day. Everything is within walking distance, you can visit both the old part of the city with the market, the promenade, shops, or get off a couple of stops earlier and visit shopping centers. In general, entertainment can be found for every taste.
Of the excursions, we chose a trip to Pamukala, it was inexpensive, in my opinion, about $ 120 from two adults and a child. The ride is long, more than 4 hours, but in a very picturesque mountainous area. Visiting the proposed stores - minus. You don't even have to go out, it's too expensive compared to the usual shops in Bodrum itself.
Unfortunately, Greece was closed due to the pandemic, and it was possible to visit the Greek islands by ferry in 40-50 minutes and $ 20 by ferry.
In general, I liked everything very much, the nature is crazy beautiful and unusual. I recommend the region and this hotel to everyone.
Having looked at the room, we returned to the reception and politely asked to be relocated. And after 5 minutes we were in the bungalow. Everything here was a little newer, but the bathroom is very small, and the designer is stupid in order to enter the shower cabin, you had to squeeze between the pedestal with the sink and the toilet (a little overdone with the size of the pedestal for the sink). Cleaning every day, bedding changed every 3 days. But the towels also do not prevent them from updating both in the rooms and on the beach. The food is not very varied but tasty, desserts pleased (the pastry chef is good, thanks to him for that). Taking into account the new rules during quarantine strained the queues for everything. The coffee and tea in the cafeteria is not good. Better at reception.
Wifi even reaches the beach. Drinks and cocktails are about 4 out of 10 once you can drink. No special entertainment. On the beach and in the pool, play either Turkish or Russian pop music. There was rarely good music. But in the morning the dining room sounded pleasant and relaxing. Overall a quiet relaxing stay. Near the hotel there are 2 supermarkets, plows or lindens or a card. Other currencies are not accepted due to covid. It is better to take a taxi to the center of the village, it is from 3 to 5 dollars. By the way, I was surprised by the price of excursions from a travel agent, low.
Now for some pluses. The territory is good. They feed well. The sea and the beach are good. Animation! Wi-Fi only at the reception, in the restaurant and around the pools. There is nowhere to go outside the hotel. On the bus to the village Yalikavak! There is a very beautiful promenade! If anyone is interested. Migros near the bus station. Shopping mall on the waterfront. Every day. Tuesday food market, Thursday clothing market!
If you go to Bodrum, then also take a minibus to Yalikavak, then change to a bus to Bodrum (about an hour).
Conclusion. The hotel is good but needs renovation! Be careful!
We chose this hotel based on reviews and recommendations from a travel agent. Based on the criteria - the Aegean coast and the normal price / quality ratio. Everything worked out as planned.
We drove from the airport for about an hour, our hotel was the last, the third in the delivery. We arrived at 13:30, had lunch and were immediately settled. It is difficult to assess loyalty to early check-in here, because. Everything was done at the official time.
We took the Anex number. It is located across the street from the main building where the Standard rooms are. Crossing over the bridge over the road, without exiting the territory. Compared to the Standards, 50 meters farther from all places of activity. The windows of all Anex overlook the road, which is not very noisy, but maybe it’s tense for someone, it didn’t bother me and my wife. From part of the Anex rooms you can see the sea. Everything in the room was working, not a single complaint, the furniture and plumbing were relatively fresh. We were visiting in the Standard room, that room was "tired" in everything, although it was noticeably more spacious. But if the family is 3 people. then you need to take the Standard, in Anex with an additional place it would be crowded. The Anex building is three-story, the passage leads to the middle floor, you need to additionally go up the stairs to the first and third floors.
When checking in, we were asked about the health restriction, we said "no" and only then we understood why there was a question and regretted it. My wife has a knee injury and frequent use of stairs causes discomfort. (Thank God I have no injuries and the stairs did not bother me). On the second day they asked to change the floor, explained the reason. We were sent for tomorrow. Tomorrow again "tomorrow". But here we already showed firmness and said that we would not leave the reception until the issue was resolved. We consulted, asked to come in two hours, the room is cleaned. They came - everything is OK, they did not deceive. The new room was also in excellent condition. Eco was not in the rooms, but bar acquaintances spoke not very much about him.
The hotel grounds are well maintained, beautiful plants, but relatively small. Walking like in the park will not work. There are several slides a la water park. Open until lunch 2.5 hours and the same after lunch. But snorting is enough. Surprisingly, there are no queues for the slides at all. Written age limit of 12 years and height, but really ride and almost babies.
The beach is excellent, gently sloping, sandy. The kids will have just what they need. Carefully removed. There are also moorings and pontoons. There are plenty of sun loungers on the beach, near the pool and on the pier. Unfortunately, there is a bydlopraktika "I'll borrow early in the morning, but I can come at least in the evening. " If not for this, probably half of the sunbeds would be constantly free, but if you came during the day, you had to wander around until you find a sunbed in a suitable place for you (we always searched in the shade). Right now I am writing and it just dawned on me that I have never plunged into the pool), only where there are slides.
The hotel is in a closed bay, so even when there was a wind, the waves were minimal, although it was clear that it was stormy in the open sea. When there were waves, the garbage and algae brought a little. The staff tried to catch it all with nets promptly and clean it up. Well, if you go from the pier, then this is nothing. You can swim with a mask, interesting fish are present. Not Egypt of course, but also normal.
Excursion took paid only on a pirate yacht. I liked it very much, I recommend it. Nice, interesting. Swim, snorkel. If anyone is traveling, I recommend taking a snack with you. Lunch will be, but of medium density, so you can get hungry. For other excursions that were interesting in our opinion, we had to go far and long, so we regretted our time. We took a free shopping tour to Bodrum. We were brought to the salon with leather. Here, as everywhere in such places - you need to bargain desperately). We bought something for 50% of the originally stated price and probably can be found elsewhere and cheaper. But it was still cheaper than at home and really high quality. After that, we said that we don’t want to go to other places, just take us to the center of Bodrum.
We originally planned so, so as not to go by public transport. We walked around the city, along the embankment. Fortress of St. Peter with a museum under reconstruction, it is written that 50% is open. But they probably lie, according to my estimates, no more than a third. Entry price is about $9. Not justified, do not recommend. Back by public transport. To Yalikavak 7 lira and then to the hotel along Yalikavak another 4. We went to the center of Yalikavak separately on another day, the embankment with yachts here is no worse than in Bodrum. At the market, we bought some small things from textiles and spices. There is nowhere to walk around the hotel. We went once up the mountain to the destroyed windmills. The view from there is amazing, I recommend it.
The food at the hotel - I liked everything. There was always enough food that I needed. Varied, delicious. Waiters almost fly. The hotel was fully booked, so they had to have time for everyone to make a clean place and appliances. It turned out. From alcohol in bars and restaurants from 10 to 24 vodka, brandy, beer, whiskey, white / red wine of local production. I recommend going to the a la carte fish restaurant, it was nice and tasty. You need to sign up on the first / second day, otherwise there is a queue.
At least half of the tourists are Turks. I liked them very much, they are calm and friendly. There are very few women wrapped in black, most in secular beach clothes. Many Poles, a few Russians, a few Ukrainians. I heard German speech, Danes, Slovaks, but these were all single copies.
Animation during the day is not intrusive. In the evenings every day a show for an hour. Seats in the amphitheater are limited, you need to take a little in advance. There are no noisy big discos. You can triple your company with yourself, there is a small disco place near the beach.
