The location of the hotel is great, the sea is almost under the number. The territory is beautiful, not everywhere well-groomed though. Descent into the panton sea. They wrote a flimsy, not comfortable ladder for descending into the water, an absolutely normal ladder, strong, steps that are, of course, slippery in the water, you just need to be careful. It is very difficult to enter from the shore, stones.
And now the food - this is the worst thing that was in this hotel, as for me.
I was the 5th time on all inclusive, holidays were always chosen on a budget, but this is the worst deal. There is no food, if objectively, you will not be hungry, but there is no buzz from such food either. There were no desserts from the word "absolutely" (this was the most depressing for us, Turkey without oriental sweets). Meat is only semi-finished products. But what was not enough for everyone, the queues are not true. Of course, when everyone, as if from a hungry land, came to the opening of a restaurant, and then everyone tries to enter at the same time, then the crowd will be understandable. Then this crowd sweeps everything away, and the impression is that everything is already nothing. But if you come up after 20-30 minutes, then the food has already been brought, there is no queue.
As for the free sunbeds, they are, or rather they would be if our cunning compatriots did not occupy them with towels early in the morning, but they themselves did not appear on the beach.
Twice in such a situation, having calculated such "busy" sunbeds, they removed the towels to the side and the owners did not appear until we left the beach. Probably, our vacationers think that a separate sunbed is for everyone.
In general, if you do not have sky-high requirements for a hotel, you can go on vacation, especially if there is a budget price. We paid 30.000 UAH for three people for 8 nights, I think this is a bit too much for such a hotel. People were on a much smaller budget.
As for hotel guides, I recommend not to go on an independent walk on about. Kos (you are picked up from the hotel, then by ferry, you walk there yourself, then they bring you back). The guide will tell you that there will be a ferry from Bodrum. Bodrum is about an hour away by public transport. There you still need to find a port, etc. Therefore, it is convenient when you would be taken from the hotel. But in fact, the departure is not from Bodrum, but from the nearest village of Turgitreis - a 5-minute drive from the hotel to the port.
From there ferry 20 Euro round trip. It is absolutely possible to go on your own. Now about. Kos. They will tell you that right away, near the exit from the port, there is a train, like you go there. This train costs 8 and 15 Euro, depending on the route. The main attraction Asklepion (admission fee, 8 Euro) Walking distance. The train will take you there and take you back, take you around the sights (like Hop-on-hop). But if you want to save money, you can walk further along the embankment, a public bus goes to the same attraction, 1.5 euros one way. This guide will not tell you.
As for food, that's a separate issue altogether. There is no meat, or rather the workers say that there is, but in fact they give soy. After 4 days of cursing, they began to give chicken once a day, and then it was still necessary to have time to take it. The beach is not really, but allowed to go to the beach of a nearby hotel. The pool is small and there are always a lot of children in it. There is no animation, in the evening only with children someone tried to dance and exactly 5 songs and that's it. The staff does not know English, I do not speak Russian anymore. The hotel is constantly very noisy, at night it is not possible to sleep, then children scream, then drunken guests. And good is the view and clear sea
The food is beggarly, the choice is meager: there was no fish at all, chicken every other day, watermelon - you have to have time to take it. There is no food for children.
Furniture is old, plumbing is rusty, air conditioners are barely pulling
Hotel on the outskirts: for any entertainment, shopping, excursions you need to go to Turgutreis or Bodrum.
Pros: Rooms were cleaned and sheets changed every day.
Adequate Wi-Fi at reception.
Rooms: Old, but quite decent (expected worse).
Sea: clean, cool (but when you get used to the temperature of the water, it becomes comfortable), entrance from the pontoons, there is a sandy beach a 5-minute walk from the hotel, but we did not use it.
Territory: small, but green, there is table tennis (bring your rackets).
Food: High-quality, there is no wide variety of meat dishes (mainly chicken is served), fish - 2-3 times a week. The rest is standard - greens, salads, several types of olives, cheeses, yogurt salad dressings, fruits (one kind for breakfast / dinner), etc.
Wi-Fi: Paid - $30 / 7 days, if you buy by the day, then $ 5 / 1 day. It doesn't work very fast, but it works : ), mostly near the reception, swimming pool, recreation area and some places on the beach.
Animation: unobtrusive (you can say that it is not for adults at all), for small children there are games in the pool, in the evening after dinner - light dance animation (the children really like it, they run to the animator as soon as they hear their music).
Staff: friendly (speaking in English)
Summary: a good hotel for a budget holiday, if the main thing is the clean sea, beach and sun
Yesterday we arrived from Bodrum. Stayed 7 nights in Acacia.
At first they were dissatisfied - the room was slightly shabby, with visible traces of the crowd of predecessors. But then, having appreciated the proximity of the sea, the friendliness of the staff and the variety of vegetarian dishes, we realized that this is it.
Pros:
1) Stunning sea views from almost anywhere in the hotel.
2) Friendly, friendly staff (waiters - bravo! )
3) Variety of vegetable and light foods
Minuses:
1) Not the hottest sea (22-23 degrees) and air (24-28) (but we must not forget that it is on the Aegean Sea that the Turks escape from the heat)
2) There is no meat in the usual sense of the word - chicken, occasionally fish (for convinced meat-eaters, trouble! )
3) Excursions are tiring with a two-hour gathering of people from all the hotels in Bodrus and Kusadasi (if you are going to Ephesus).
4) Few people in the hotel even know English (for half an hour they knocked out the towel dryer - the receptionist could not understand what we needed).
5) Wi-Fi is expensive - 2 euros per day and rather weak. But it works : -)
A couple of tips for those traveling to Bodrum:
1) Be careful with the sun - in the cool air you burn unnoticed!
2) Less excursions - 1-2 per week, no more! It is incredibly tiring - many hours of rotation along the serpentine of seaside roads, an early rise (in Ephesus - at 5 am already boarding the bus).
We talked with a Russian woman who was waiting for her guide to "feel his face and return the money" - She was so tired of her 3 excursions!
3) Go on a yacht only if you like noisy companies, discos with impromptu striptease and diving from the deck into the sea. Take food with you! Lunch is very, very light - a trace of lettuce, pasta with tomato sauce and five fish cakes the size of the knuckle of the index finger.
