We stayed at this hotel from June 25 to July 9.2010. We went to the hotel for a special offer. The first 3 days the air temperature was about 27 degrees, the sea 23 degrees. In the future, the air temperature constantly increased, reaching up to 45 degrees, the temperature of the water in the sea remained unchanged. The sea was not cold, but invigorating.
About the hotel :
1. The hotel is generally good. Well-groomed, green territory; constant cleaning; friendly staff. But there are also a number of significant drawbacks. The main downside is the beach. Despite the fact that the beach has a tiny (5 x 5 meters) heel of the sandy entrance, the beaches in the hotel are extremely uncomfortable. The beach is a narrow concrete platform on which sunbeds are placed in 1 row, in some places in 2 rows. Sun loungers are located under a dense and deep thatched canopy and the sun reaches sunbathers only at 12-13 o'clock. There is a small strip of platform beach without a canopy, the most comfortable for taking morning sunbaths, but no more than 10-15 sunbeds can fit on this "front" strip. We sunbathed exactly at this place, but we went out to occupy these sunbeds early in the morning, at 5 hours 45 minutes, even at the same time, conflicts arose: discarded towels, showdown, etc.
2. When booking, we paid for a standard room, but settled in a family room : ) We lived in a bungalow. Big nice room. 2 large rooms. Covering laminate and tiles. 2 balconies. The first is large with a table and chairs overlooking the sea. The second is small. Air conditioning only in one room, does not work well (two rooms do not pull). The second room has an extra bed for a child, a TV, a sofa with a coffee table and a fan. There is no bathtub, there is a very small shower. Cleaning is normal, all the time clean towels and bed linen.
3. Food is good and varied. Basically they give chicken and turkey, fish, sometimes they give lamb. Too fond of semi-finished products. Especially little natural meat during lunch. But this is to some extent compensated by the abundance of fruits (apples, peaches, grapes, plums, cherries, watermelon and melon), vegetables and wonderful sweets. There is a diet and children's menu. Although the children's menu is a little different from the usual. During dinner, they try to serve original dishes. What it lacks in quality it makes up for in quantity. Meals are round the clock and complete: chicken steaks, fish, vegetables, fried potatoes, hamburgers, national Turkish cakes "gozlime". After dinner they give ice cream and tea with cookies.
4. The sea temperature is approximately 23 degrees. Not cold, but you can't call it "fresh milk" either. The water is crystal clear, despite the afternoon wave. There was no garbage in the sea (neither natural nor human)
5. The territory is large, green, well-groomed. The mountainous terrain makes itself felt: constant descent and ascent, steep steps. There are 3 pools: a central, large pool surrounded by bungalows and a separate pool with slides. The pools are not deep 1 meter 40 centimeters and 2 pools for children. The water park is nice with interesting slides. There are no queues and a big plus is that there is a controller who gives permission to start. The only drawback is a significant distance from the main pool and the beach. The restaurant is big with a track. there are no problems with the tables. On the terrace there are tables under a canopy and in the open air. Food cannot be left on the tables located on the terrace. a lot of sparrows.
6. From the hotel to the center of Bodrum there is a permanent transport - "dolmush". Travel time from the hotel gate to the bus station (this is the center) is 17 minutes. The fare is 2.5 tours. Lira = 1.6 $. For those who are interested in shopping, I inform you that there is a shopping center "Oasis". Finding it is easy: when you arrive at the bus station, shout "Oasis! Oasis! " and you will be shown the nearest dolmush. Travel time 7 minutes, fare 2 rounds. lira = 1.3 $. In the very center of the city there is a fortress (the cost of the entrance ticket is 10 TL) and a mausoleum. There is a small street of expensive shops in the port.
In general, we are satisfied with the rest. The most important thing is a positive mood, positive thinking and a desire to have a good rest.
