SETTLEMENT. Standard from 2 pm, but we arrived at 12 and we were settled within 15 minutes. And not only us, but also everyone who came with us in one transfer. We were greeted upon arrival with a bottle of cold champagne. Was very handy after the heat. ))) Upon departure, the room was handed over at 12:00, and the transfer was at 15:00. I had to stick in the lobby for 3 hours, but a nice plus was that all this time you could continue to use the entire infrastructure of the hotel for free and the wait turned out to be very comfortable (lunch, cocktails in the lobby).
ROOM.
We took the most ordinary room. Settled in a bungalow on the 3rd floor overlooking the neighboring hotel. In the evening there were parties and it was noisy, but good double-glazed windows removed this problem. The room is not big. But it's all done right. The interior may be a little tired, but everything was originally done so that "fatigue" was not evident. If you do not look for something to get to the bottom, then the room is excellent. Everything you need is there (up to beach bags), everything works. They did not find only toothbrushes and toothpaste (probably they could be requested at the reception, but we had our own). The room had two beds (double and single). Moved them and got a huge bed. The pillows, in my opinion, are "liquid", but this is normal for a hotel and no one promised a menu of orthopedic pillows here. )
CLEANING. Cleaned up every day.
Not to say that every day they did a general cleaning and cleaned everything to its original state (as it was at the time of check-in), but it was not dirty in the room either. Special cleaners may find complaints about the quality of cleaning, but we had no complaints. Removed normally. If the cleaning lady found us in the room, then any of our requests / wishes / comments regarding cleaning were carried out immediately.
STAFF AND SERVICE. Liked the service. The staff is trained and very hard working. Even there is no special need to "lubricate" the tip. In the main restaurant tables are cleared quickly. They quickly approach, pour water and ask what kind of drinks to bring. And they bring. But, if you need an addition of drinks, then it’s already how lucky ...they may not come up anymore. But this has nothing to do with the nationality of the tourists. It's just that with the maximum filling of the hotel, the guys physically did not have time, although they tried.
We were not too lazy to walk 3 steps ourselves and take additional drinks for ourselves. Particularly fastidious people could always simply call the waiter and make an additional order. I would especially like to note in the main restaurant the waitresses Sura and the black-haired beauty in glasses. They not only did their job quickly and efficiently, but also did it with charming smiles, charging everyone with their positive attitude. This was especially appreciated by the children. Many simply followed them with their tails and even strove to help them in their work))))))
In bars and evening shows, the service is also normal with a discount on the maximum occupancy of the hotel. When you sit down at a table, the waiter very quickly approaches / takes / brings the order. Further - as lucky. Usually, when the waiters see empty glasses, they quickly take them away and ask if they can bring something else. In any case, you can always call the waiter or go to the bar for drinks yourself.
A tip of $ 1-2 here does not oblige anyone to anything and is perceived simply as "thank you". In order to somehow distinguish yourself from the general crowd of vacationers, as my colleague, who also vacationed in this hotel, said, you need to give at least $ 10 and then your glass will never be empty even by the pool or on the beach))))
In general, I liked the service. Even without a tip, it is better than in the 5 * Dominican Republic, Egypt and Vietnam, where we used to be.
FOOD. Food is everywhere, a lot, almost around the clock (there is even a bar with non-stop snacks). We slept through dinner on the first day after the road...and went for a late dinner (from 11 pm to 2 am). They didn't leave hungry. The assortment of food was like in the Egyptian 5 * at the main dinner))))) Fruits (cherry, watermelon, melon, apricot, peach, pear, apples, plums, etc. ), ice cream, fresh juices (I personally did not eat watermelons. laziness. drank watermelon fresh juices)))), gozleme, fish (sea bream / sea bass) on the grill - the whole day, without hype, queues and in abundance.
In short, the food is not 5 * Michelin, but a lot, varied and for every taste.
DRINKS No powdered juices. All juices from packages or fresh. Alcohol is good quality. Huge cocktail list. In addition to their signature cocktails, bartenders (not all) know almost all well-known cocktails and can prepare them. At the beach bar, Remzi can make any cocktail. The richest bar that has the entire range of drinks in the lobby. There are always fewer people there, and everything is there and they are poured with high quality, without haste (there is a continuous stream on the beach and there the guys sometimes make mistakes with proportions and ingredients)))) Russian-speaking guys at the bars willingly poured me half a glass of Chivas at once and separately ice and juice, so that neither them to me nor me to visit them once again))))) Strict 5+ for drinks!
A-LA CARD Were in the fish and the Mediterranean. In fish they give everything the same as in the main restik. Only octopus and shrimp for extra. fee (and in the canteen for free)))).
I liked the black perch. Pleasantly surprised. Other than that, I don't see much point in going there. In the Mediterranean there were dishes that you will not find in the main restaurant. You can go for a change.
SEA and BEACH The beach is sandy. Sunbeds in 5 rows with awnings. Lots of loungers. You can always find places even with the maximum filling of the hotel. In the sea at the entrance to the water sand with small pebbles. From the depth "to the waist" sand. Despite the sand, the sea is clean. On the left side of the beach there is a water entertainment base. Prices are 2 times higher than in the Russian Federation in the Kuban.
POOLS There is a main large swimming pool, a children's pool, there is an aqua park (it doesn't work in the hottest days). For us, a huge plus was the presence of a separate relax pool 18+. It's for adults only. People with children are politely but persistently expelled from there by a security guard. There is silence, chill and peace. Without loud music, children's screams and animators.
ENTERTAINMENT There are many animators. For children, there are constant competitions, games and other fun.
For adults sports competitions, games. The animation is unobtrusive. Who wants to - will find something to take part in. Who does not want to, those do not touch. We didn’t want to, so I can’t tell you more about the animation.
For adults in the evenings of cinema on the beach, show programs, disco. As I understand from the reviews of others, the hotel has excellent animation for children, it is comfortable for those who want peace, but for adults looking for parties, it’s not very good here ...Young people who assume that their vacation will be an endless party are better off looking at other options.
LOCATION There is nothing to do outside the hotel. There is nothing within walking distance. The center of Kadriye is 5 km away. (taxi round trip $20) There you can buy local Turkish things. Some solid fakes for brands, but the quality of the fabrics is good. Stubborn sellers, it is necessary to haggle for a long time and dreary, so that the price becomes adequate ...
Normal shopping with normal shops and normal prices is shopping malls in Antalya. You have to go there by a rented car or a taxi (about $80 one way) or you can order a free transfer, but with a mandatory stop at a leather store or a jewelry store, where they will obsessively sell...But if you need a leather jacket, then you can have something there. then bargain decent quality at an adequate price.
In general, we liked the hotel. He is worth his money. Rest was a success. Never regretted. We will recommend to friends. We'll be back here again.
P. S. ATTITUDE TO RUSSIANS In light of recent events, we were a bit worried that our vacation might be overshadowed by the negative attitude towards us from the staff or other vacationers. There was nothing like that! Most vacationers are families with children. Everyone appreciates comfort and peace. Nobody wants conflicts in front of children. Everything is cultural and respectful.
Or maybe it's because there were a lot of Russians resting there, and even spiteful critics understood that it would be more expensive to contact them))))) There was no discrimination on the part of the staff either. If you smile, be positive and treat the staff not as slaves, but as hosts welcoming guests, then you will be treated well and served with pleasure, regardless of nationality.
P. P. S. A fly in the ointment...Live music is always played in A-la Card restaurants. The girl on the violin to the accompaniment of the guitar is trying to perform something ...It's terrible. The violin does not play, does not even groan, but squeals and roars in hellish torment. Even to me, with a complete lack of musical ear, it was clearly clear that she did not know how to play the violin at all, did not hear herself, had no idea about the rhythm, notes and violin playing technique. And for my wife with a perfect ear and graduated from a music school in piano, it was just hellish torture.
She quickly stuffed food into herself and just ran away from there!!! ! We asked the waiters to "allow" the musicians to take a break for at least 10-15 minutes, but the waiters, with a sympathetic smile, apologized and said that according to the rules of the contract, the musicians were forbidden to interrupt ((((Even all the waiters understood how badly the violinist was messing up . . Poor fellows, they could not escape from there and had to endure these tortures every evening .. .
I didn’t find any cons at all, only a market, but you don’t have to go there so as not to spoil your mood.
And the 24-hour mirage bar will also allow you to have some privacy.
Operates on a uai system 24 hours, imported alcohol is included Ballantine's on the bar is poured; ) by the way, since this year, the menu of all bars is the same and the drinks on the beach and in the lobby bar are the same!
In terms of nutrition, everything is also excellent, both with variety and with taste; ) Separately, I note that the dishes are not spicy, so that children can safely eat in the main restaurant. The menu in restaurants this season is new. They even promised to treat us with seasonal fruits.
The territory of the hotel is the pride of the hotel, we can safely say that the villas are located in the park, everything is very green and beautiful, plus the magnificent nature of Turkey, when palm trees grow next to pine trees.
Spacious and well planned, but in the dark you can get lost; ) the benefit of wi-fi catches everywhere and Google map will display; )
There are 6 swimming pools on the territory, 5 of which are heated.
And this beauty is complemented by an excellent sandy beach.
And now the novelties that we were promised this year:
Iceboxes with vodka on the beach near sunbeds
Waiters on the beach
Button to call the waiter on the beach
Cabs on the beach with service for an additional fee
Lounge for guests where you can relax and have a snack before check-in and check-out (showers and safes available)
Children's sports academy: tennis, football, swimming - free group lessons
Also this season we have added family rooms, both in the main building and in the bungalow, now we will be pampered with two bedrooms
We arrived from the airport at 10 a. m. in the morning. It's really close to the airport, which is what I wanted. The room wasn't ready yet. We were offered a brunch to eat while waiting for our room. We returned at 10:50 at the reception, we were asked to wait 10 minutes and at 11:00 we were already settled in the room.
The room was on the 1st floor of the main building overlooking the sea, at the end of the corridor (#4034). Despite the presence of an amphitheater near the windows, it was really quiet. Noise isolation in the room is good, but you can hear the crying of children in neighboring rooms. But we ourselves were with the baby - it did not annoy us. Recently refurbished hotel, spacious, modern design, fluffy light gray carpet on the floor, large bathroom, a lot of shower cosmetics (renewed daily), white bed linen and towels, everything is changed regularly, plenty of storage space, free mini- bar, which is updated daily, TV. Once they even asked for a second time to replace all the towels because it was raining and after using the towels they did not dry at all. And twice there was embarrassment - the child wet the bed in a dream. They asked for a replacement and they did it without any problems.
Nutrition was fully assessed only in the first 2 days, since by the end of the third day we all fell ill with rotavirus infection in turn: first the husband, then me, and at the end the child. This ended our complete vacation.
Outside the hotel, we didn’t eat or drink anything, the hotel itself is really clean, everywhere in the common areas there are hand sanitizers that we always used. We assume that the husband accidentally took a sip of water in the pool with children's slides (lay down on his back, wanted to wet his head and accidentally plunged into the water completely), but we, in turn, with the child already picked up from him, when he still had no obvious symptoms of the disease . He was stormy specifically: the temperature was above 39, nausea, lack of appetite and diarrhea (without vomiting), everything is the same with the child, only the temperature is up to 38.
We went to the doctor for insurance, prescribed treatment. The illness cost us 100€ with all expenses, taking into account the fact that we paid the insurance deductible only for the child. That is, if you are traveling with a child to a hotel where there are usually a lot of children, I strongly advise you to take money with a margin for such cases. And this despite the fact that we had a large first aid kit with 3 types of antibiotics, antipyretics, all kinds of sorbents, painkillers, etc.
As for food (it was very important for us): the menu is sooooo diverse, many desserts, there is a whole children's restaurant, many locations with snacks: gozleme, pizza, ice cream, a pastry shop with coffee brewed in a professional coffee machine by a pleasant barista girl. In general, you definitely won’t stay hungry, the main thing is not to get sick like we do and then not eat only rice and then walk with hellish stomach pains from one dessert eaten!
The animation was not particularly appreciated: we didn’t have time for an adult (we saw how we had fitness classes, yoga on stage, played darts, water polo, twirled bicycles in the water - there was something in general), we saw the children’s several times: with older children they danced in the children's pool, went by train, shouted some chants, moving together along the hotel paths, there was a children's disco, painted T-shirts in the kids club, baked cookies, painted, etc. Ours didn’t try it all because all the animation is aimed at children from 4 years old. For children 1-3 years old, the kids club has only a small playroom and a sleeping room with cribs (I have not seen this yet). Even people like us were not forbidden to go to the children's cinema, to the Lego room (but the Lego is small there - you need to make sure that the child does not shove it in his mouth))), to a room with all sorts of useful things such as coloring books, books, pencils / felt-tip pens, board games etc. There is also a room with a Sony Play Station: if we had time and opportunity, we would go to play with my husband, by God))))
Our alcohol was not particularly important, since we are "not a lot of drinkers", but in the first days before the illness we managed to drink a few cocktails (I personally didn’t like it at all), dry red wine at dinner (usual normal dry wine), and indulged a little with Baileys with ice (that is, they also have elite alcohol for free).
From what I categorically did not like - this is the distance from the hotel to the nearest crowded place with shopping: 6-6.5 kilometers to the center of Kadriye, 7-8 kilometers to the center of Belek. That is, either go by bus to Kadriye, or with a transfer on 2 buses to Belek, or by taxi (10 € one way). By bus, you can also go to the Legend for a walk, we also went shopping in Belek 2 times, and found that the town is very pretty! So I advise you to go yourself, because for some reason the hotel guides advise you to go to Kadriye and strongly avoid Belek. Although there is a large Migros in Belek, there are much more shops and Waikiki, and so there is where to take a walk!
Even compared to Kemer, I didn’t like the sea itself: it is almost always a little muddy, there is no that crystal clear water, like on beaches with a stone bottom. Usually the sand settles quickly, but here on the beach it seems like there is always dust in the water. I think that this is a stone crumb in the sand, something like crushed pumice, which is lighter than sand, because of which there is always turbidity in the water. Far from what we expected from the Mediterranean.
Based on the results of the holiday, my husband and I came to the same conclusion that in the future we will always choose hotels and places to stay exclusively for ourselves: that is, 1. it will definitely be a stone beach and a stone bottom (or large pebbles, what is it right to call it! ? ). 2) the hotel will be located in a tourist place and not fenced off from civilization by golf courses, like Papillon. 3. We will choose a hotel where there are not many children, since there is always a high risk of catching some kind of infection, because children spread the whole thing much more actively. We realized that a child under 4-5 years old is deeply purple for a children's hotel, it is more important for him that mom and dad are cheerful and nearby)
Have a good and comfortable rest without negative switching!
Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted, told about all the nuances, showed where our rooms were, helped to bring our things. The hotel is always clean, and if you put a tip on the bed, they will also give you a nice gift upon your return.
The food is very varied and very tasty. There was nothing that we did not like, everything is familiar to our region. All staff were polite.
I was pleased that in the bathroom there is always toilet paper, soap and you do not need to waste it again.
I almost forgot to say about delicious donuts that you can eat after dinner near the pool bar, you won't regret it.
In general, we had a good holiday, so I advise everyone!
Bungalow room on the first floor in the depths, where it was quiet only the buzzing of cicadas was heard, a small balcony, the windows overlooked directly on the paths. Not the one that we were promised, one double bed, one single bed and a folding chair, not very comfortable, we decided not to make a fuss and leave everything as it is. Cleaning every day and towels at the same time changed, bed, every two days. We always left one or two dollars for cleaning.
The food is not bad, the choice is sufficient, and if you try one new dish every day and do not try to cram everything into your plate at once, then you can eat varied. Breakfasts and lunches are not bad for lunch, there are two soups to choose from, dinners are good, there were also themed ones - fish, Turkish, Asian. The Italian a la carte restaurant was very good. Chinese did not attend. In the morning and at lunchtime, there were a lot of flies in the restaurant, no one reacted to our complaints, flies climb everywhere both food and tables.
The territory is not big green, there is nowhere to walk. The entire staff is friendly, they say hello, all with a smile, this is certainly very conducive. The sea is excellent, if there are no waves, the water is clear, very shallow for a long time, in my opinion it is convenient if someone from your family does not swim, large awnings and many sun loungers. A good water park, everything is safe (this is important for us), but we spent more time at sea. Coffee bar with cakes and Turkish coffee Mini bar of beer, fanta, cola, water, small chocolates replenished almost daily.
On the day of departure, it was very frustrating that the luggage was standing on the street (there is no storage room), the porter hung it with an electronic canter and apparently incorrectly, he took money for each suitcase for weighing, as a result of trouble at the airport, there was an excess, as it turned out, there are no scales either. Is it really impossible to put scales like in normal hotels? Rest, in principle, went well, but there are flaws in the top five does not pull (((
We chose between Greece and Turkey, and Turkey was advised to us as a "children's" direction. More specifically, the Papillon Belvil 5 * hotel, as it is "an excellent level of the hotel and impeccable service. "
Accordingly, PEGAS Touristik sells this hotel as 5 * - there are no additions about HV-1 or 3 * -4 *. At least, I did not find it in the hotel voucher and on the website.
The hotel has high ratings and I still do not really understand where they came from, at least from those who stayed in the bungalow.
Reading the positive reviews about Papillon Belvil 5*, it seems that we were in another hotel : )
Just open my photos.
Departure was from 28.09 - 13.10 a room in a bungalow.
Departure there from Vnukovo by Turkish Airlines - no complaints. Convenient layout 2-4-2.
Transfer from the airport - we were met by a bus in very poor condition. Dirty, old and with broken armrests.
Check-in is fast and hassle-free.
Number - here the fun begins:
First number:
With a baby, we were settled with a view of the fence of the neighboring hotel, where the water park was located. Accordingly, we did not stay in it.
The room, by the way, is very tired. The furniture is shabby, the carpets are dirty, etc. But we paid attention to this in passing.
Number change 1:
They asked to be moved to another room - they gave the number 905.
Here I thought that my wife would have a tantrum - I have not seen such a collapse even in weak three-pointers.
Without exaggeration - everything could be photographed and filmed - everything is dead and terrible there!
Just look at the photos!
On the official website of the hotel, the photo of the club room is even nothing.
True, there is a note that the numbers will look like this only in 2019, and even then not all : )
And this PEGAS Touristik sells as 5*?? ? On the site, the tour operator Pegasus does not talk about 3*-4* or HV-1.
The room is damp, cold - the sun does not get into it. Bathroom is small and dirty.
From lighting - a couple of dead light bulbs.
The furniture looks like it came from a landfill.
You unfold the blanket - there is dampness under it.
We were just afraid of getting sick in this room.
Did the hotel try to solve our problem?
Very sluggish, as the problem is massive. There were 6 resettlements known to us in our race alone!
We were ready to pay extra for a normal room, but there were none (in the main building).
“We know that there is such a problem, so we will repair half of the bungalows in 2019” - this is the answer.
Did the Pegasus representative at the hotel try to solve our problem?
No. And to our statement - “We will fly home and sue Pegasus for the non-compliance of the hotel with the declared level! »
The answer was something like this: “Serve. Pegasus 25 years on the market. You will lose the case"
After our announcement, the photos of Papillon Belvil 5* on the Pegas website were no longer displayed. Coincidence, probably
I think there is no need to comment further on Pegasus' attitude to problems?
Did our agent try to fix the problem?
Yes.
Constantly wrote to Quality control, wrote to the hotel, etc. And we are very grateful for this.
Number change 2:
After some time, we were told that it was possible to move to room 3531 - lighter and with a shower instead of a bath. Of course, moving from room to room is not something you want to do while on vacation. But my wife's runny nose due to the dampness and dankness of room 905 forced us to move to another room.
This room is also tired, but at least there was sunshine and not so chilly.
However, dragging a stroller to the 3rd floor, of course, is still a pleasure.
And the pigeons that took a fancy to the roof over the balcony were constantly bombing. The balcony has always been in their waste products. Probably wealth.
Number change 3:
5 days before the end of the trip, it became possible to move to the main building.
Large rooms, look ok.
But, for some reason, they are also all shabby, although Papillon Belvil 5 * writes in their brochures that the repair was just recently.
Animation:
Someone praises. But the evening shows, not counting the imported animation, are weak.
The guys dance and open their mouths to music (for example, the musical Mama Mia) in old scenery - more like amateur performances than a serious show.
The game "Bingo" is quite dull, of course : (
Kids club, water park: All is well. They work with children. The water park is fun. Children have their own "city". No wonder the hotel is considered a children's hotel.
Territory: Large and green, as we wanted. True, there is rubbish on the territory in some places. Some pieces of scenery are scattered, old furniture, etc.
Sea: Gentle entrance. Stones first, then sand. sea like sea
Pools: In general, normal, there is enough space for everyone. The indoor heated pool is closed.
Cuisine and drinks: Everything is fine. Good selection of food and service. Friendly staff.
Return flight Nord Wind (Pegasus airline)
Terrible queues - some stood, according to them - 1.5 hours. The queues are most likely due to the surcharge for overweight luggage.
In general, no one argues, if 20 kg is possible, he is ready to pay 25 dollars for an overweight.
But you can only pay in CASH. Friends, this is the end, of course : (
Yes, by the way, they do not feed on their flights - this is for a fee.
On charters (and not on low-cost airlines) we meet this for the first time.
What is the result?
My wife got sick, and so did I. My daughter got sick on the last day of her vacation.
Half the people in the hotel, it seems to me, it is because of these rooms in the bungalow - they get sick.
There was often a queue to the hotel doctor. All snotty and coughing.
Illness, terrible number and ignorance from Pegasus, of course, spoiled the long-awaited vacation.
We are treating our daughter and recovering ourselves. Otupsk, which took a lot of strength : (
Adviсe:
1. If you go to Papillon Belvil - only to the main building.
2.
Medicines, and you will most likely need them, can be ordered at a pharmacy with delivery. You can ask to call the pharmacy at the reception. It's a popular service there.
3. Fly Pegasus - be prepared to take care of yourself on your own. In addition to “taking you to shopping”, most likely, they will not help you with anything.
We believe that Pegasus is deceiving its customers by providing false information about the product they are selling.
Did he try to somehow help correct the situation, offer compensation, etc.?
No. No way. At all.
We intend to continue to talk about our experience with Pegasus and the Papillon Belvil 5 * hotel and will seek compensation. It might be possible to get through.
If you have any questions - ask
