And so, let's start from the very beginning, upon arrival, even an experienced local transfer driver from the tour operator could not immediately find the hotel, since FUN & SUN SMART River Resort is often confused with FUN & SUN FAMILY Club Belek and even Google navigator leads to the second, apparently more popular.
Upon arrival at the hotel, our travel bags were asked to be given to the staff to be disinfected, which took about the same time that we spent on check-in and check-in. The reception staff are friendly and welcoming, but when it came to the rooms, and we asked to place us as close to each other as possible, we were offered, in principle, not a bad option in their words and hinted that we could "thank for such generosity. " Everything would be fine, but in the end the number turned out to be so-so ...
After passing through the hotel in an electric car, we were taken to the room. According to the general impression: well, it doesn’t look like a renovation year in 2020: everything is somehow flimsy, the phone is not working, the cistern in the toilet does not flush, the torn-off decor on the pedestal near the large mirror. It was immediately noticeable that the room had not been cleaned: the floors were dirty - you could feel the sand under your feet, even putting on their branded slippers, the next day the soles on them were dirty, the bathroom and shower cabin were not cleaned. Fortunately, at least there was no garbage, like our friends had: uncleaned dirty towels and a full ashtray with cigarette butts were lying around - it's not very pleasant to settle in such rooms. Looking ahead, the rooms were "put in order" by the end of the week, and then not completely.
On requests to fix the phone and flush the toilet, the staff responded clearly - the third time, when I went to the reception and said to fix it after 16:00, when the little child wakes up, they immediately sent a plumber, and a phone repairman and cleaning lady, and they were all in a small room while the baby tried to sleep. As a result: the phone was repaired for 2 days - it was never repaired, the siphon in the toilet was changed three times, on the third day it was repaired. I don’t know why they called the cleaning lady, after we changed the siphon, no one cleaned up after the masters, the garbage remained. We had to clean up ourselves.
Food and drinks. It turned out to be much easier than we thought. From a large enough selection of food, it is almost all tasteless, with the exception of a few dishes. Desserts and fruits are plentiful, but only local desserts were delicious. Don't take cakes : D
As for drinks, it’s also a question, it seems that there is a variety, but the taste is the same, and the beer is diluted, apparently.
Another fact struck me. At one of the meals, I went to take water, while 3 adults and a child were sitting at our table, when I was already returning to the table with water, one of the servants literally stood in front of me and took a plate of food that I still ate, and threw it in the trash, removed the appliances - his friends didn’t even have time to say anything to him - he came up with lightning speed and cleaned everything. At least he asked out of politeness ...The sediment remained after that. But this is only one such character, in other cases everyone is very friendly and loves children very much.
Territory. Well-groomed, green, it is clear that they are watching her, unlike the numbers. Each line of villas has its own swimming pools, there is also a central one, where various activities are carried out. There are two pools for the little ones, there are two water slides, a games room.
A boat trip to the sea along the river is a feature of the hotel, we liked it, you can relax and look at other hotels past which the boat passes on one side, or at wild thickets on the other side of the river. It goes every half an hour, it took ~ 10 minutes to the sea on the fastest boat, 12-15 minutes on a small boat.
Beach and sea. The beach is clean, there are enough sunbeds for everyone. The sea is also clean, the coast is pebbles + sand. The entrance to the sea is a pebble. The beach has all the amenities: shower, toilet, changing rooms. There is a bar on the beach, the menu choice is the same as in the hotel: hot, cold drinks, alcoholic drinks. Snack bar: open for several hours, where we were offered: apples, plums, hot dog rolls + a choice of sausages in some kind of sauce or chicken chopped from a skewer.
