In the kitchen - dorado or sea bass every day, salmon, catfish skewers, grilled vegetables and much more. Delicious snacks. Fruits - watermelon, melon, orange, strawberry, grapefruit, apples, pears, apricots. Just insanely delicious baklava, not cloying, lots of nuts. There is a dessert shop where you can drink coffee and eat cake at any time. There were no questions about food at all. The only thing missing was snacks on the beach. Only nuts and chips. Imported alcohol: there is paid and free. Free is a great choice. Delicious Turkish coffee. Ice cream around the clock.
The beach is huge, there are a lot of sunbeds, everything is under awnings, very clean. The slides worked on time. There was a bar on the pier. We walked around the villas. It's very beautiful there, the pines, the lake. You can go for a walk on the golf course. In general, we liked the rest. The only negative is that there is no normal animation. During the day - Pilates, aerobics, table tennis. And perhaps that's all ((I would like more entertainment and evening shows programs. Maybe with the onset of the season and with the weakening of covid, something has changed. Out of 10 points I put 8. When asked if I would go here again, I think the answer is yes) ) Have a nice holiday.
Food - the choice is very small, the look of the restaurant and the dishes in it as if in the dining room! There is no baby food at all, not even yogurt!
There is no animation at all! Only playing the piano in the evening! The hotel is just dead in every way.
Thank you to the tour operator, as well as assisting in moving to another hotel!
Cornelia is a child-friendly hotel, a boring boarding house, I can't call it anything else.
The beach is well maintained.
The food is sooo different!
Seafood well, very little, compared to what it was before.
The staff does their job without complaint. Only at the reception the guys are cunning and the guest is relayed to match them.
The hotel is very nice, but a lot of things don't work. No animation!! ! Lockdown!
Feelings - boarding house for pensioners!
So, we arrived as part of 2 adults and 2 children: 1.11 and 6 years old. I really liked the advertisement of the hotel: family hotel; everything for children, a new large playground, a children's water park, a 2-storey children's club. The ability to leave the baby with a nanny, that is, at least a little rest.
What we got:
1. Closed children's water park (adult slides worked). To the question: why? Nobody knows covid. Really? That is, you can swim in the pool, you can swim in the adult water park, but let's not open the children's one?
2. Lack of children's pool. All pools - 1.40!! ! That is, without the help of adults, children cannot swim or even be near the pool!!! ! Again - it's a constant stress for parents to keep an eye on the little shilopples on the edge of the deep pool! We have previously rested from Turkey 10 times, but this is the first hotel without a "paddling pool". Opportunities just to sit with mom while the child is splashing - physically not. Oh yes, there is shallow water in the children's water park, but it's a pity to open it, because there are few guests, the hotel is almost empty, and those guests like us who paid for a tour to you a few months before the pandemic do not deserve to have their children included water park, right?
3. The promised new playground. It just didn't open! Although a few weeks before that, she worked. Why? Covid. That is, your logic is ironclad: the old site works; the indoor kids club works - but the playground, for which they also went and overpaid for your hotel, is not allowed. Thank you that for 7 days my children, especially the youngest, stood under the bars and looked at the toys on this site and were hysterical that they were not allowed. Customer focus is on the rise. In this hotel, everyone decides for himself what works and what does not,
4. Children's animation - 1 Russian-speaking girl. Lack of mini disco (covid), and frightened Turkish girls. The leader who walks around the kids club and makes sure that the toys are in place. I have never seen such an absurdity: a club on 2 floors, on the first floor there is a zone for 1-3 years, on the second 4-8. I have 2 children. For the whole mini club - only they. The younger naturally decided to visit his older brother after 15 minutes, but it turns out / it’s impossible, a pandemic. Like this?? ? How to explain to a child who is not yet 2 that he should not be played next to his brother ?? ? They also refused to let me go to the 2nd floor when the younger one ran away there. And only after the scandal so be it, they allowed it. Hotel management: these are children!! ! Letting them into the club, you must understand what and for whom you are building. This is not a prison where everyone will sit in silence monotonously looking out the window, these are children! Girls animators are fully aware that this is nonsense, but they can’t do anything, they are scolded for every act.
Of the toys - it costs 10%, the rest are hidden. Just class!
5. The whole hotel is focused on the retirement age: and believe me, your crying or laughing children are not welcome here. Deathly silence everywhere, at the bar, in the pool, in the children's rooms! When asked to turn on music for children, no one knows who should turn it on, and in general, tourists here love silence. Well, here you are positioning yourself as a hotel for silence! You don't need to call yourself a family run hotel if you don't understand that kids/it's loud and fun.
6. The worst thing that happened to us was on the 2nd day of rest, when I was putting my youngest child to sleep in the room, and he was crying and couldn’t sleep, the internal phone started ringing me, and some person became boorish ask when we leave. To the question: who are you? I am gestritated. In response to such impudence, I simply sent this woman to hell. But less than 5 minutes later, she began to rattle at the door of my room. When I opened the door with a child in my arms, who was crying again, because this noise woke him up, she rushed at me and began to threaten to evict me from the hotel, which, right now, would show me a mate. I barely had time to slam the door to avoid physical aggression from her. I called my husband, he ran to the room. Further - she again appeared in the room, but with a man - this is the main of the hospitality. And with him, she again began to weaken me, my children, saying that she was not going to endure the crying of my child. That she has connections here, so that we can be seated, that she left a bunch of money here, her stomach is already 2 months old and in general she will call someone/someone and they will kick us out.
Administration actions - we can offer you another number. Imagine us!! ! Not to this inadequate person. I said that I didn't feel safe in this hotel. To which I received the answer - we have security. Just calmed down. Taking care of your guests
7. Lack of baby food. Most likely, too, savings in a pandemic. At 4 pm we found out that it turns out you can order. But what's so complicated: just cereals and sausages without sauces and all sorts of gravy? Potatoes? NUGS? Kids don't eat those complicated snacks of yours! And even after the request to boil rice and sausages for breakfast: they forgot about us, on the second day they brought rice, and on the third day, too, only rice. Despite the fact that I reminded every day, so as not to be forgotten.
Bottom line: the hotel is not for families with children! It is quiet, like in a museum, the anti-worlds are not allowed to play with children, the playground and the children's water park have not been opened, food must be refined in order to get it. You can also run into such guests here.
I do not recommend!
2. Check-in went without problems Russian-speaking staff
3. Lovely leisure environment everywhere is clean and tidy
4. Great performances in the amphitheater every evening
5. Rich sports and entertainment events with tomatoes from Ukraine
The most interesting thing began 5 minutes after entering the hotel. The girl from the reception came up and told us to SET UP our loud children !!! (((to our answer "try to calm them down yourself" she hung in a misunderstanding of what to do now))) and left))). And most importantly, there were none of the new "settlers" besides us, and there was practically no one in the lobby at all! (((
The children's room is a separate issue. There is nothing but constructors. Girls "animators" are just empty places, why they are there at all IS NOT CLEAR!! ! Their only answer! - We are not responsible for your children (((( In the children's room where there is a pool and slides, they refuse to swim unaccompanied by their parents !!! ! ((((To our question, and the children will be fed again, the answer is - We are not responsible for this! !! ! they will bring food from the restaurant, but let them eat themselves (((
Children's disco. It's a total bummer. We go along the road there and we are overtaken by these "dummy girls-like animators" from the children's room. We were delighted and said - take the children, and we will come later. The answer is again - NO, we are not responsible for them !!! (((Bring them there yourself(((We were shocked! The children's disco is TEARS...., even one-year-old children will fall asleep there.
The coolest thing is that cartoons for children in the "concert hall" begin to play - PLEASE THINK - after the end of the adult show hours after 22-00 ((( The concept of CHILDREN'S ANIMATION, this is not about this hotel ((
We have not seen this anywhere else in Turkey!!! ! The hotel is NOT FOR REST WITH CHILDREN!!! ! Once again I repeat - THIS HOTEL IS NOT FOR REST WITH CHILDREN!!!
We rest in Turkey only because of the children. There is nothing more to do there. We HAVE NOT SEEN THIS ANYWHERE! Hotel for PENSIONERS!
In general, if you are single or you are over 60 years old, everything is very GOOD! The hotel and service is good, I can not say anything. Wi-Fi if you set it up from the tenth time is good. BUT everything is there FOR PENSIONERS! And there are A LOT of them
Bottom line: THE HOTEL IS NOT FRIENDLY TO SMALL CHILDREN!! ! But if you are over 60 this is a good hotel.
Thanks!
Disadvantages: poorly equipped pier; small territory; boring old-fashioned slides; unpreparedness of rooms even by the official check-in time; the hotel looks older than its age (everywhere and everywhere is in need of refurbishment).
Summary: A decidedly overpriced hotel in a great location that looks much older than its age and in everything but the food and reasonable price, it can't compete with the neighboring newer hotels.
