Tell me plz! How is the real situation with the Internet, with Wi-fi?
and then somewhere it is written that wi-fi is free, and somewhere - paid. The Internet cafe is free - I know - 4 years ago it was free ... how is the Internet in the rooms and in the lobby ...

Free Wi-Fi in the lobby. And in the room wired for a fee! Just arrived from WOW Kremlin Palace (this is a neighboring hotel and they have one owner, the list of services is similar. You can use the services and territory of both hotels).

Thanks for the answer! Did you enjoy WOW? I’m sitting here tormented to go there (because I liked it very much in 2007) or see a different hotel ... Last year I visited Papillon Zyugma - it seems nothing - but I don’t want to go there a second time ...

In general, I liked it. The food in the Kremlin is not bad. We went to Topkapi once for dinner - a much smaller assortment. But we liked the territory more in Topkapi (somehow more exotic than in the Kremlin). UAI - clearly does not pull either there or there. Imported drinks only from 21:00 to 01:00 in one bar on the 2nd floor.

I don't think that Wi-Fi is paid... That year I used the Internet in their Internet cafe. Without a special queue and absolutely free. There is also an Internet cafe in the Kremlin - you can go there too - the territory is common, admission is free.

Topkapi: Wi-fi in 13 segments covers the entire territory of the hotel. Of the 13 segments, one (WOW_FREE_INTERNET) is free. Coverage - the entire reception hall. The speed is pressed down to a level of about 15 kbps. The remaining segments are paid - 7 euros / day. I don't know the speed. To register in any segment, you need a password, because the Turkish law on registering work on the Internet came out. Therefore, get settled in the hotel, then to the guest relation, you take the password from him according to the passport number. and go!

Has the internet situation changed? 15kbps is not an Internet at all, it's its absence :) even dialup in the good old days was 56kbps :)
Share the info, who was this year, what kind of speed is free, where is Wi-Fi available? What about the speed on a paid Internet (although 7 euros per day is somehow crushed by a toad)?

I'll answer myself ... the speed of free Wi-Fi is "not a fountain", but you can use it. Those. Sites open quite tolerably, check mail and chat on Skype - no problem. to watch videos on youtube - this is already harder, but it’s also possible :) in general, quite a decent Internet, as for a free one :) At home, for that kind of money, I have a 100 megabit channel for a month :)
