Initially, we bought a tour for 2 adults and 2 children from 07/08/2010 to Belek "Limak Atlantis" for 14 days, but 2 days before departure we found out that the sewer had burst there, so we chose "Topkapi Palace" from 14.07. 2010. Since we had already rested in Atlantis, the travel agency warned us that the Topkapi hotel was simpler. I want to know if it is true that the rooms are small, the safe is not electronic, do you have to pay for imported alcohol? I don't know about other drinks, but I didn't pay for martinis in Atlantis. I want to take a 15.5" macbook with me - will it fit in the safe? Is there a service such as ironing two things per person per day - free of charge (tips only)? Are there soups on the lunch menu? Is there a playground on the beach? Is it possible leave the air conditioner on when no one is in the room?

Topkapi is a very terrible hotel. Just do not go there under any pretext - last year we visited it (we lived in the neighboring territory in the Kremlin, but the passage was free) - the food is poor, there is no animation, I would say everything is very, very sad. I absolutely do not recommend!

How many people, so many opinions! On a promotional tour, I visited both the Kremlin and Topkapi. Topkapi left good memories. I came here in the evening to watch the last round of the Turkish football championship and managed to walk around the territory and talk with tourists (5 or 6 people), and there was not a single bad word. The hotel is very good!

Do not read the reviews. how many people. so many opinions. the hotel is good. especially for children. about soups, there are none. in our understanding. there is chorba. but I liked it. the safe is normal.

I answer. The safe is not electronic, but this is not an indicator that it will be robbed (the websites of the FSB, NATO, etc. are hacked). Imported alcohol is paid (for only V.S.O.P and XO), but I think you don’t drink such alcohol at home every day. The note will fit into the safe. I forgot to put both the note and the fotik in the safe, and nothing, on the spot, for which a BIG THANK YOU to the service staff. I can't say anything about ironing. I took things reasonably for 10 days. Soups for lunch 2-3 types, plus a dietstol. There is a playground on the beach, next to the sea. I did not use the air conditioner, we went in April, I did not need it. Info needed. THANK.

I really agree with the last answer. I would like to add about the air conditioner. We didn't use it either. it was not so hot yet - it was enough to have the windows open. But in the room they give a separate card for electricity, which we always left - do not defrost the refrigerator (and drinks are replenished every day - 2 beers, 0.5 pepsi, 0.5 sprite, 0.25 min. water, 1.5 min. water) - I think the principle of operation of the air conditioner is the same - it is rather made as a large air conditioning system - not split - definitely.
As for the small number. If you want more, but without a balcony - they have such an option - we lived in this. These numbers are all on the side. If you look at the case, they are in color in a dark brown wooden design.
The indoor pool will probably be better in "Limak Atlantis", in "Topkapi Palace" it is warm - 28 degrees, and the jacuzzi is 36 degrees. - Somehow they measured with us. We went to the city to the Turkish bath - although in Kemer I liked this center more.

Thanks a lot, everyone! Unfortunately, according to the director of the travel agency where we bought the tour, Limak will be closed until 07/16/10 (at least). And since we are running out of time, we were forced to agree to Topkapi. Now I am writing this message near the Lobby bar. After two days of stay, I can definitely say that the difference between Atlantis and Topki is unrealistically huge and this is clearly not $ 300, which we were promised to return as the difference. If you really want to feel like a vacationing person, you should pay extra and even more than 300, but go to Atlantis. I will describe the details of the rest in my review of Topkapi.

We were in Atlantis last year - a sea of u200bu200bdelight. Now I'm considering Topkapi as an option.
