Tickets to Antalya are expensive and the hotels are also not cheap. But Istanbul, we have flights from Donetsk and Kharkov by the Pegasus airline (sort of) so they have a cheap flight to Istanbul (look at their website, Google also gives results). My wife and I are going to go to Istanbul this winter. We counted 10 days from our glorious Zhitomir - in a 2-star hotel or even a hostel (I’m probably shocking everyone, but if our goal is to wander around the city and see all the historical places of the city), it’s 1200 dollars for two, but that’s about everything everything (travel Zhytomyr-Donetsk-or-Kharkov-Transfer from the airport is somewhere in the Asian part of Istanbul to a hotel or hostel - accommodation + breakfast - modest meals during the rest and everything back Home). We contacted a travel agency - they have a start from 1500 (they don’t even carry three rubles in Istanbul and the flight from Boryspil is not a charter). Think about Istanbul - in the historical part of the city everything is within walking distance and the experience is Wow!

in Istanbul in winter it is rather disgusting in terms of weather. if you or your wife react to a change in the weather, then in Istanbul you will have a daily migraine. today it can be + 15 and the sun is shining, and tomorrow + 2 and sleet. as it was in February of this year. nothing for me, but a friend was sitting in a hotel and banging her head against the wall all in tears, since even the pills did not help.

Transfer is not a problem at all, comrades. And now its cost does not depend on when to order, it is possible at the last moment. If you go 3-4 people, then the cost will be like an operator's transfer, and the conditions - a comfortable taxi. If anyone needs it, I can provide links.

Not true :) I had something completely different in mind - it is beneficial if you start organizing in advance.
Several times we self-organized specifically for an all-inclusive beach holiday, it turned out much cheaper - by 30-40%. But, I repeat: tickets were bought by Wizzovskie at the beginning of the season for departure in early October, hotels were monitored very carefully on a dozen foreign booking sites.

The plus may be that the money for a package tour in case of illness (or other problems) cannot be returned (if in 2 weeks they will return half, in my opinion).
A flight ticket can be returned. Hotels are generally paid upon arrival.
