Rested family 9 days in late September - early October. And this is the first hotel in Turkey in 12 years of our trips that we didn’t like, I wanted to close my eyes to many things, but it didn’t work out, not in this hotel! Of the advantages - the area for autumn is beautiful (in summer it will be very hot, because the alley is 150 m to the beach completely in the sun), the water park is not far from the beach, this is where the pluses end.
Unpleasant unfriendly robot people work at the reception, who do not care about the problems that have arisen, however, the same can be said about the entire staff, with the exception of a ray of light - an elderly uncle on soups and one bartender on the beach, that's all! This suggests that the hotel has no management from the word at all - the fish rots from the head. Even the most beautiful guest relay girl is more of a decoration, she didn’t know about a single problem that I voiced and pretended that it was just now that such an oversight happened, it didn’t happen before, no, no, and there’s no one to go and see for themselves, Yes, and there is no need, people and so the crowds go. They won't go again, believe me!
Check-in strictly from 14:00, check-out strictly at 12:00, for extending the room 45 euros from 12 to 15 or 90 euros from 12 to 18, gave 20, it was necessary until 18, they didn’t take it, only 90. This is with such and such zero service, theft in the hotel - more on that below, the surcharge for a deluxe hotel is very unpleasant, especially since the Anex tour operator took the same 90 euros for a late flight. Just goons!
The room was on the 4th floor 2409 with a view of the Asteria Kremlin, it is simply impossible to sleep either with the door open or closed. There is no soundproofing at all, on the fifth floor the mattress creaked from the neighbors as if in our room. Under the balconies and in the afternoon, and at night, carts were constantly driven along the paving slabs with a roar, stray dogs barked at night and until the morning, every night for 9 days. A large dog calmly walked along the beach, along the pier, went into the sea right on the beach. There was no cleaning in the room, no one noticed sand on the carpet and on the balcony, the bed was never changed, we ourselves removed the pillowcases from spare pillows in the closet, no one wiped the traces of glasses on the table, towels were not changed, even when we folded them into the sink, they came at 18:00, and they lie there !! ! For shampoo, which ended on the 3rd day, I had to chase the maid on the other floor, she was caught with a cart. None of the staff understands either Russian or English. I read reviews about theft in the rooms before the trip, so they hid everything in the safe as much as possible, but the neighbors said that their cigarettes were stolen from the box! This is level 1*!
The sand on the beach is sooooo dirty with a bunch of small debris, cigarette butts, which have not been removed since the beginning of the season, or maybe never at all) Sunbeds in the shade were clearly not enough. Those who came to 10 - placed in the sun near the sea.
The sea is warm in the morning, by 12 o'clock and before lunch it brought foam, and then there was a layer of cool water on top, warm below because of the river, look at the map, it is very close through 2 hotels Kremlin and Topkapi.
The unsanitary conditions in the toilets are terrible, I have never seen such a toilet as on the beach of Venice and at the entrance to the restaurant. On the beach, only one cabin, M and F, was not cleaned at all during the day, i. e. at 16:00 there was a complete srach, there was no soap, paper and towels, they just ran out and no one added them. In front of the restaurant the same story, after dinner there is no paper in any booth, no soap in any dispenser. All this was said by guest relay, the result is zero. This is level 3*!
There is not enough staff. This was especially felt in the restaurant. Permanent queues, because there are 10 distribution windows, and there are 6 distributors, while they slowly move from one to another, and even not trained in this business, they do not understand either language or gestures, take food, that’s another quest) There is no pleasure from eating, it takes a lot of time to: find a free table, call for it to be cleaned, go find napkins and cutlery yourself, stand in lines for food, go to the bar for drinks - no one offers them here, there is no staff. The food is ordinary, nothing expensive is served. The bartender girl in the lobby bar threw a couple of times with such displeasure, you can’t call it otherwise, our drinks that they already splashed, and the desire to approach this place disappeared. This is level 3*!
There is practically no animation, they do not have a leader. All the animators were seen during breakfast, and then they disappeared) On the beach, no one offered anything, as in other hotels. Yes, there was volleyball and yoga with zumba, which was attended by 5-6 people. In the evening, I only liked the circus show, the dance groups were of the level of the recreation center of our area, and there was no supply from the animators, this was especially felt at the "bohemian party", compared to other hotels it looked strange, they brought a bunch of scenery, a DJ, backup dancers and that ? where are the animators who dance, invite others, create the mood? Yeah, no one really creates the mood here. We were lucky to meet cool guys from the north and from Ukraine, we had a great dance at a separate disco area too))) Thanks to them for the pleasant communication throughout our vacation!
On the penultimate day, we lingered on the beach, took pictures with the sunset, were the last to leave and forgot our branded cap and sunglasses on the sunbed. An hour later they returned, they were stolen by the beach workers, who finished arranging the sunbeds, but they only understand Turkish and pretended to be very busy and did not want to talk to us. An appeal to the guest relay did not give a clear result.
In general, draw conclusions, learn from the mistakes of others, believe bad reviews (I didn’t quite believe it and regretted it 100 times). I decided for myself that next time I can return to hotels that I really liked, and not fall for such beautiful pictures 5 *, but inside 3 *.
P. S. I promised guest relay to write reviews on all resources and I kept my promise! So long, Venice. I certainly won't be coming back here and wouldn't recommend it to others.
We came for 7 nights for a children's mini-disco - which is the only entertainment here and it goes on for half an hour every evening!! ! With the same program!
There is no promised disco.
No show program not promised!!!
There are no children's areas!!!
There are no promised hookahs! (((
Of the four restaurants - NONE IS WORKING!!!
There are no programs for children either!
Half of the bars are closed!!!
Trampolines and children's entertainment are closed!!!
In general, there is nothing in it except for the beautiful facades of the hotel !!!
From food there is no assortment of fruits.
And there is no range of seafood - the cuisine does be much better - compared to other hotels where it's cheaper!!!
You walk around the hotel as if it were abandoned - nothing works and is tied with ribbons and signs DOES NOT WORK !!!
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE!!!!
Don't see the beautiful picture!!!
This is a scam for that kind of money!
There are plenty of hotels nearby that are filled with everything and much better!
And even cheaper!
And in them everything that they promise everything works! (A bunch of evening programs for both adults and children) and not like here !!!
Ruined our holiday!!!
And we went to celebrate our birthday with my wife!! !
Surprised that the staff does not ask for tips. First time I see this. The food is excellent - better than I expected. The truth is there is no limit to perfection. I would advise them to serve more of any baked goods like in European cuisine, such as donuts, brushwood, buns. They have pastries but some are not European - with impregnations, too sweet. There would be fresh and even hot pastries. Customers would eat less meat : ) The dough is cheaper : ) And the stomachs are not dimensionless. The cleanliness of the restaurant could be better. The stained upholstered chairs are especially annoying. WiFi on the beach is better than in the room. One day it was rainy and windy. From this point of view, the Red Sea is without misfires - there the probability of getting caught in the rain is close to zero and, of course, the Red Sea is cleaner and warmer than the Mediterranean, but the cuisine there is more Egyptian and inferior to Turkish. By the way, the sea was 26 degrees, kind of warm, but you can’t sit for two hours in Red.
Some of the hotel staff showed obvious hostility. For example, a hotel cleaner was always embittered, not a single gram in English and Russian, and on the third day, when cleaning the room, she casually threw new towels into a pile and crookedly tucked the sheets. The one dollar we left on the fourth day on the bed fixed everything. In some bars, I already felt owed by the cold, to put it mildly, look of the staff when I asked for soda or coffee. It seems that in addition to paying for the tour to the operator, I still have to pay everyone on the territory of the hotel.
But the saddest thing is if you or your children get sick with something popular in southern countries. After a week of staying at this hotel, our children fell ill one by one. The doctor called by the insurance diagnosed Enterovirus (Coxsackie). On the third visit of the doctor to us, a representative of the hotel came with him, after which every day they began to remind us that it was FORBIDDEN to leave the room, otherwise they would be evicted! Of course, since the onset of symptoms in children, we have not visited swimming pools, playgrounds, clubs or anything else where there were crowds of people, but only went to the sea away from everyone, but the policy of the hotel itself is just a nightmare. The children got sick in Turkey, for this hotel we gave a lot of money, a significant part of which somehow went to Turkey, and we are locked in a hotel in the country where we got sick and threatened to be evicted from the hotel with CHILDREN (2 and 3 years old). What is it like? Is this how Turkey, represented by the management of this hotel, shows hospitality to Russian tourists? As a result, at the request of the wife, the children began to at least bring food to the room, every day reminding them of the prohibitions.
Of course, there are many positive aspects in this hotel, but I don’t want to write about them at all, because the cons (especially about eviction) in this hotel crossed out everything, the attitude towards hotel guests is simply bestial and this is considered 5 stars!
Let's remember something else, we will definitely add it.
We go to Turkey with family or friends only in 5-star hotels. Here in and last year with friends we decided to visit Venice, since we had not been there yet, and according to the description and photo, it should not even be bad. Yes, in general, it really was like that, if not for the attendants and local aggressive management.
The history of our 10 days of rest is very simple:
1. We traveled together - three friends. When booking the room, they said that a third bed would be provided, but upon check-in, it turned out to be an ordinary folding bed with a mattress, on which it was simply impossible to sleep. The whole vacation, every day, we went and asked for a more comfortable thread. Well, there should not be such discomfort in a 5 star hotel.
RESULT: no one responded even once. And at the end of the vacation, we were told that we actually did not approach anyone.
2. The hotel itself is quite old-fashioned, both in terms of condition and occupancy (sorry for the slang). There were practically no young people, in the evenings it was very boring because of this, and the locals confirmed that it was like that all year round. But we were not lost and not sad, after dinner we gathered everyone at the disco in one company and danced even in the amount of 1-2 people until the music was turned off (this is about 12 at night).
TOTAL: who is young and energetic, then definitely not here, but in any hotel next to the fence.
3. The most important moment under the motto "The fish rots from the head. No one here will help you! ". In our room, on the 6th day of our stay, the sink fell off. Yes, yes, it is the sink, so big, powerful and heavy. It fell down to the floor when my brother filled it about 1/3 full with water. It’s good that he managed to react and jump aside, so he escaped with a slight fright and a cut on his arm, his legs remained intact. Carefully examining the fragments, it was clearly visible that the sink was attached from below to the countertop using only one sealant. We took this situation calmly, since we all travel often and a positive mood is more expensive than some kind of incident. Immediately called the reception, explained everything in detail, said that there is a photo and video. Quickly enough, guys with tools came to our room and began to fix the problem. As a result of the work, a very strong and pungent smell appeared, it was impossible to stay in the room. Having gone to the reception, they asked us to move to another room, again, everything happened quite quickly. In it, we immediately took a picture of the sink from all sides-)). All whole, no severe injuries, the mood is excellent and we went on to rest.
The next day, our room was called from the main building and asked to go to the hotel administration. We thought: "what a fine fellow, they probably want to apologize for what happened, " but it wasn't there: we were invited to demand 150 bucks for a broken sink!!! ! They began to threaten us with the police, trying to prove our guilt with completely ridiculous arguments that we ourselves broke it on purpose, such as:
- You stood on her feet
- You sat in her booty
- You deliberately tried to squeeze it out of the countertop.
Now imagine how three adult men are trying to break the sink with their booty -)))). Now I remember it with a smile, but at that moment we were just in shock from what was happening. And in the common piggy bank: we were told that WE DID NOT APPLY ANYWHERE AFTER THE SINK BROKEN! If the reader still does not understand, then read the entire third paragraph again.
We had a question: who then came yesterday to repair this sink, who moved us to another room? was the answer that we are. The representatives of the hotel were: a man of Russian nationality and a woman (apparently of Turkish nationality, since she did not understand anything in Russian). Both of these people have no idea what a customer/problem/objection/dispute resolution/loyalty is. It’s a pity that you can’t post a video here, so I was able to film part of the dialogue on my phone.
RESULT: the threats were really real in our direction (fine, police, prison) in high tones, no one wanted to hear anything. A little later, we realized that they had no other options: someone had to pay for the broken shell, and certainly not themselves.
We paid $150 for the sink, the mood was lost for several hours, and as a result, we will never return there, we will never recommend this CREDIT-HOTEL Venice to anyone.
But we laughed at the story itself for a long time later, because no one else had such a thing. I wish you all a great holiday, a great mood and not to pay attention to any assholes. Just do not step twice on the rake -))).
