It's been a long time.
Our very first experience of a holiday abroad was with us in 2006, when my son suggested that my wife and I go to Turkey. By that time, he had already visited Egypt a couple of times, so we relied on his experience. We rested both on tours and as savages on the Black Sea.
When we booked a hotel, I chose the one where there was an extensive sports program with basketball and volleyball. Belconti was such a hotel. However, the day before departure, we received a call from a travel agency and were told that this hotel had been bought out entirely by either the Germans or the Italians. And we were offered a choice of two hotels: the Kremlin Palace and some other. I knew that the price level was higher there. But we were told that due to the fact that this is an omission of the travel agency, there is no need to pay extra. We chose the Kremlin because we heard reviews about the hotel from a friend. My son and I formed evenly and took our mother to rest. It was the end of May.

When, after checking into other hotels, we were brought to the Kremlin wall of the Kremlin and taken to the reception, it was somehow scary to leave the suitcase there: it would be delivered to you. We are not used to this kind of service. The son calmed down. Five minutes after we found our numbers, they brought clothes. My wife and I went to explore the area. I will post photos so that you can see that outwardly this is an approximate copy of our Kremlin with the Historical Museum, St. Basil's Cathedral, the Bolshoi Theater.
In general, the rest was a success (although they took only a week, this is not enough). Beautiful atmosphere inside the Historical Museum, a varied sports program: basketball, volleyball, football (son played). But most of all I liked basketball in the pool, and then water polo. The beach is well organized. With my son we went a couple of times on water skis and jet skis. It was paid. We sailed on a catamaran. The instructor showed us on the shore a new hotel being built by Russians, which will be very expensive. Then I realized that it was Mardan Palace. There was an interesting animation. There were also Russians among the animators.
A few notes. As soon as Russians and Ukrainians with children arrived at the hotel on May 30, there was immediately a lot of noise and dirt. Somehow many children behaved unbridledly, it was difficult for them to reach the urn. When we sympathized with the animators, we heard that this is nonsense. Here were comrades from Israel, so they behaved even worse, and even the TV set was taken out. I had to delay my flight at the airport. And I remembered how on the day of our arrival, tall men with basketballs and bags were walking toward the exit.
The food was good in the main restaurant and Mexican. Especially pastries, oriental sweets. We do not drink strong drinks, so Turkish grape dry wines were a normal drink for us. There was no fake.

When my wife and I wanted to leave the territory, we looked to the left, to the right, seeing the deserted streets, and decided to return to the hotel. But it wasn't there. There was no room number on the issued card. And they don't let us in (2 minutes after leaving). I show the photo in the camera, I try to explain something. Then the question: "Russia? " "Rush! Rush! and go, they say, Rush. We didn't make any more attempts. But we learned that you need to know at least a couple of foreign words. Later, when we were already leaving for Croatia, Spain and Bulgaria, we recalled that our failed campaign. In those countries, we felt much freer.
But overall I give the hotel a high rating.
