Holidays in Turkey on inv. wheelchair.
Good day! My question is: I am a wheelchair user, I plan to visit Turkey in May, I have never been abroad. The tour operator recommended hotels: Sugar Beach 4*, Galaxy Beach4* and Asrin Beach4*. Kindly, tell us what kind of hotels and is it possible for such a category of people like me to rest there? Yes, and they also ask for a health certificate, does anyone know what form the certificate is?

I won’t say about these hotels - I haven’t seen them personally, but I advise you to clarify whether there are rooms for the disabled - it will be much more convenient for you, in most good hotels there are more than 2 of them. And remind the agent who will book you so that he must warn the operator in advance that such a room is being booked - then the hotel will fix it for you on certain dates. Never heard of a referral...

I don’t know about the certificate, but in hotels of a good level there are rooms for the disabled, this is a convenient sanitary unit and a shower and a path for rolling out the stroller, Europeans with disabilities always and for a long time rest in Turkey, but for medical information, check with your clinic, at the expense I don’t know these hotels, open them on the Internet and look at the site of the tour, it’s true, and immediately you will see the reviews of tourists on this or that hotel !!!!!!!!!

Look closely at the territory and the beach.
Take Sugar Beach for example. Hotel across the road from the beach. Passage through the underground passage. I don't remember it, but it's not a fact that there are no steps.

Definitely you need to choose a hotel so as not to mess with underground or overhead passages. Even if the underground passage is indicated in the description of the hotel, it is not a fact that the passage is only for this hotel, and sometimes this passage is public (toilet) and vacationers do not use it. Now about the village of Mahmutlar. More precisely about the entrance to the sea. Most hotels have an entrance to the sea carved into the rock. Plus, the sea is quite calm. Rest in hotels is possible, but swimming in the sea is in doubt. Help is needed for the correct registration of insurance and transfer.

Hello! I'm a little under a different nickname (I forgot the password). Thank you very much for your advice! I visited Turkey, although I was afraid and doubted until the very end. We booked a room for the disabled, the hotel provides everything for wheelchair users ("Asdem Park" Kemer). At the expense of the certificate ... it all came down to a banal receipt on my behalf that in the event of a deterioration in health related to the flight, I would not have any claims against the airline. The transfer did not please ... the tourist bus "Mercedes" was served high and with narrow aisles (although everyone was warned). Thanks to volunteer assistants from among fellow travelers who helped me get on the bus. Otherwise, no problem! Thanks again everyone!

Happy for you.
And it's great that we have such precedents.
