Turkish food is spicier, more salty. The hotels have soups, mashed mushrooms, spinach, tomato ... True, there are exceptions in some hotels in the form of borscht (wrote in a review) or fish soup.

hotel food is not like Russian food. For example, there is soup, but you will not find potatoes, etc. there. It's more like a sauce than a soup. But there is something in this. I like. Everything is prepared for the “common fund”, so you don’t have to wait for something exquisite, although everything is very diverse and tasty. And in restaurants outside the hotel you can find anything you want, but for the money. We have never gone, there is always enough in the hotel.

A buffet in a hotel not lower than 4 stars, I am sure that will satisfy any taste. You will not see pork and borscht. otherwise everything is tasty and edible. I recommend baklava and other sweets made from puff pastry and pistachios. eat everything, do not be afraid of anything! yes, and with mayonnaise there is also not friendly. Real Mediterranean cuisine!

Vegetables, salads, desserts are on top there, I don’t recommend potatoes - they are usually in sauce, sour in taste, unusual for us. I advise you to take baked eggplant and zucchini as a side dish, grilled meat or chicken for them. I don't eat soup, I don't like it. There are omelettes, cereals, the main thing there is not to overeat to death, there are so many temptations!

It doesn’t look like it at all, spicy, salty. Vegetable, mushroom, onion soups are generally a rare muck for me and my family, although many ate.

In a hotel restaurant, I do this: before taking a portion of food unknown to me, I put a ma-a-a-scarlet piece on my plate, I taste it with my fork. If you like the taste, I put as much as I need. I walk along an endless row of dishes and try a little bit. No need to pile a mountain on your plate, and then throw it away! It's indecent. Try first.
Now from the spiciness of the dishes. There are also strings of seasonings and sauces. Do not pour into salads and second courses at random. Try a drop on your plate first! And basically, from a huge selection of dishes, you can always choose an acceptable one. I'm talking about hotels at least 4 stars. Nina

I'm in July and August. A set of products, vegetables, fruits - such as we have (in Ukraine). There is no or very little beet and white cabbage, fresh natural milk. The dishes are distinguished by spices, which in some hotels you can choose yourself and season the dish to your taste. Separate respect from me - yoghurts in large salad bowls, they are awesome for my taste !!!!

By the way, about the behavior of some tourists in the restaurant. In my opinion, it is indecent to collect mountains of food on ten plates that you are not going to eat. I support belaz, think about what and how much you want and eat for health, and not for overeating!

class food! Everything is adapted for Europeans, don't worry. Nothing exotic. but always delicious! Of course, pancakes with caviar and borscht will not be sold, but we have enough of this. soups - mostly mashed soups - just yum! In Turkey, 6 times and always satisfied with the food!

By the way, everyone writes about spicy and salty... I don't like this kind of food, of course it is there, but there is always something normal to eat, including completely dietary!
