My wife and I for 2 years in a row (both times at the end of September) rested at the CLUB INSULA hotel (Alanya). This is a "five", but very, very inexpensive. We really enjoyed!!! The hotel is small (~700 people) and as quiet as you want it to be.

I was in Ares in Mahmutlar. The hotel is small, 4 *, inexpensive. The beach is right through the tunnel from the hotel 5 min. In 2008 it was pretty good, I don't know how it is now.

In Alanya itself, I personally really like the Hedef Kleopatra Golden Sun and Aska Kleopatra hotels (these 2 hotels are the best from the Cleopatra series, I talked with people who lived in neighboring hotels of the same series, so heaven and earth) and also Ananas is good
